I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember and I am always the friend go volunteer to walk other people's dogs when they need help. I know the value of exercise and enrichment for dogs and I know how to make those connections with them. I am experienced in bathing, walking, playing with and feeding dogs of all sizes and breeds. Over the summer I have completely open availability and any consistency would be appreciated as I am getting married this summer and need the funds for my wedding. “Kara was amazing, she left very detailed notes and lots of pictures of Athena and helped me feel comfortable going away for 5 days and knowing my dog was going to be taken care of. Even with a big heatwave hitting the West Coast Kara came by and made sure to take Athena out and being careful of the heat and asphalt. I will absolutely be booking Kara again.”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, including both large dogs and cats. I previously worked in a veterinary clinic, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and care needs. I genuinely love getting outside for walks and hikes, and I’m happy to take your pup for a run if that’s their thing! My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I tailor each day to your pet’s energy level and needs! Active dogs can expect walks, park time, and play, while more relaxed pets get gentler stimulation and calm cuddles. With my work-from-home schedule, your pet gets consistent care, supervision, and a low-stress environment! I treat every pet like they’re my own—safe, supervised, and well cared for. I’m experienced with a wide range of temperaments and sizes, and I’m comfortable administering medications as directed (including injections!). I maintain each pet’s routine as closely as possible and prioritize a calm, low-stress environment.
About: I have been house sitting for coworkers and family since I was 15 years old, and I adore it! I love all types of pets, and have taken care of both cats and dogs. I also raised a 10 week old puppy who is 5 years old now, and he’s very well behaved with no bad behaviors. I am a full time university student, but when spending time taking care of someone’s pet, I do take care to disclose my class schedule. I would do best for pets that are okay being alone for 5-7 hours at a time, as I have some back-to-back classes that I can’t miss. I am very passionate about animals and I love spending quality time with dogs and cats, so when I am with the pets I will be able to give them undivided attention. When in a clients home, I take great care in making sure that the pet stays safe and in no trouble. I make sure that any outside access is monitored and/or closed off to being able to escape or get into danger. I also stay mindful about not leaving things out for a potential animal to get into, and when I am home with your furry friend, I do everything I can to keep my eyes on them!

About: I have grown up with a variety of animals, thus providing me with a wealth of experience. I have experience with medication administration for special needs animals or animals with health concerns and would be happy to assist your pet with these things so you can feel comfortable leaving home without worry for their wellbeing! I’ve worked with young pets and older pets alike! Minimal barriers here! I’d love to support you and your pet :) I do work a full time job at the moment, though am flexible in the late afternoon and evening! I am also available saturday afternoons, and all day sundays, and mondays for convenient weekend trips. Happy to work with you and your schedule to make sure your pets are treated like family! I am happy to provide care for your pets in your home, and would love to support with housework if needed! I am thorough and attentive and will be sure to take extra care and time when you are away from your pets. I know how hard it can me to leave pets home, they are family! I want you to feel calm and safe knowing how loved your animal is with me!

I’m can account for the different needs of many different pets, and have myself never been without a pet myself! I’m currently pursuing an apprenticeship, and will have plenty of time for your pets! I’m free almost all weekends, and most days of the week, varying. I understand that different animals have very different needs for food, attention, play, and space, and follow your instructions left for them to the letter.
“Sherry was very patient and sweet with our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. It was hot outside for him but she still managed to get him to move around a bit. He immediately warmed up to her. She is professional and friendly!”

About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats my whole life! My most recent dog Lexi and I loved to go for runs, walks, hikes and play fetch together! She also knew loads of fun tricks that I taught her! I currently live in a small apartment and don't have a pet of my own, put I'd love to help out with yours! I love nature and being outside, so a furry-companion for walks would be welcome! Whatever you need help with, I'm your girl. I worked as a Special ED IA this past school year and I'm off for the summer, hoping to start a job in care giving soon! As of now, I have open availability to pet sit or walk dogs whenever you need! Safety and trust is so important, it's important to stay consistent, to show leadership and build trusting relationships with our pets. I will protect your pet like my own, and I would never put them in harms way under my care!

“This guy is kickass. He really cares about your pet and he went out of his way to be respectful of any requests I had for my pup. He even showed up the night to introduce himself and get to know my pup named max. Max loves him and I probably will use his services in the future”
