About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was young, handling dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles! I enjoy working with anyone, I’m friendly and kind! I can groom, clip nails for dogs, feed, I love walking dogs. I’m currently in the medical field and enrolling into nursing school, I find working with animals a fun, loving, and happy thing to do in my free time! I’m very flexible and easy to work with! Often available for holiday weekends or stays! I work part time while going to school so I can be available to take care of animals! I currently live in a house with me ESA cat Bella and her adopted brother Rip. that I’ve had since I was about 8 years old! I give them the best care, quality food, wet, dry and some raw/ cooked meats every once in awhile. I clean their litter box every day! I open the windows for her because she used to be a outside kitty and follow me around but she’s older now and likes to be sleeping with me or on the sofa with me. I have taken care of hyper dog breeds, the ones people think are overwhelming and they’re my favorite to work with! Once you create a good bond they look forward to anything! I enjoy playing with them, playing running games, walking a lot, and teaching commands.

About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. I live in a senior mobile home park and I have a fenced in yard. I make sure that animals are safe, fed watered, walked and get plenty of potty breaks. They will get lots of love. I keep the yard clear of poop so that their environment is healthy for them.

“Izzy, who is usually stand-offish, connected with Avram quickly. Since we were visiting Ashland Avram agreed to come to our hotel room to watch her. He took her for short walks, sat on the bed beside her, and gave her treats we had set aside for her. So nice to be able to have a night out knowing our little dog was getting good care. I CAN take care of cats and dogs 24/7 while they are with me. Nothing is more important to me than your pet feeling safe and welcome. I have a fenced yard and multiple rooms and kennels in my house so they can be locked up easily if needed. I will follow YOUR feeding schedule and not stray from routine.

About: As you consider if you want to trust your “fur-baby” to us, you should know that my wife Kathy and I have been involved with dogs for more than 40 years. We give cuddles and pets as needed and encourage our dogs to be friendly to all that visit. Our first dog and the subsequent 6 dogs we have kept as family members were all rescue dogs. We have experience with Border Collies, Corgis, Mixed Breeds, German Wired-Haired Pointer and American Brittany dogs. We have been active in the American Brittany Rescue organization since 2011 having placed more than 16 dogs in forever homes including 4 Brittanys that we have kept for our family. While we have crate-trained our dogs when they first came to our home, typically once they show that they can use the doggie door to go outside, we have given them free roam of the house and yard except for bedrooms. We keep the crate available when a dog wants to isolate themselves or they need a timeout. We are happy to give quiet time to the dogs in the middle of the afternoon especially after a snack and/or a walk. Our home has a doggie door that can accommodate a large dog and that gives the dogs freedom to go outside on their own. Finally, we have boarded and watched over our children’s dogs for many years when we lived in CA. We would be happy to board and walk your dog and give you the peace of mind that we have enough experience and temperament to insure your dog has a good time at our house. My wife and I are home full time as we are both retired. While we enjoy our walks and our gym time, we have plenty of time to watch over and play with your dog. We have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (age 7 & 10) to keep your fur baby company. We can crate your dog if needed and would prefer that your dog be able to take themselves into the yard to go potty once they learn to use the doggie door.

“It’s like a summer camp for pups! We were in the area for a rafting trip and couldn’t take her with us. We found Dorothea and Richard who had high ratings. We took a bit of a driving adventure to Rogue City area and found their expansive property at the top of a hill of so many acres where the pups do long hikes, play, and get thoughtful care. We had never left our puppy (8 mo) with someone. She was nervous when we left and we came back to find a relaxed, tired, happy pup who seemed to have the time of her life. We appreciated the videos we got throughout the day and how welcomed we and Sky felt. Professional with paperwork and offer to tour property. Thank you Dorothea!”

About: I have 3 cats, but I care deeply about all animals. My life’s calling is to care for animals which is why I finally decided to proceed with vet tech schooling. My whole life I have taken care of dogs and cats and have loved every moment of it. Caring for my pets is the best and most satisfying part of my day. After working with tech in Geek Squad for 2 and a half years, I spent a lot of time thinking about what I want to do in life. I always knew my calling was to care for animals which is why I am in the process of starting vet tech schooling and looking for a job outside of tech working as a vet assistant. I promise to always provide the best care you could ask for when caring for your pets. If your animals need to come to my house I do have a big fenced in yard that they can play in and I welcome all animals in all rooms of my house and they are allowed to be on furniture. Because of how much I care for animals you will never have to worry about your pet being left alone or missing a meal.

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. I’m also available to do overnights if needed :) I do have a fenced in yard where I can supervise your pet. I currently have no personal pets of my own. I love to maintain their schedule as I know it could be hard for your pet to be in a new environment.

About: My background in animal care extends well beyond traditional pet sitting. I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My subsequent transition into “human” healthcare has further strengthened the attention to detail and standard of care that I bring to every animal entrusted to me. My veterinary experience provided a comprehensive foundation in safe animal handling, canine behavior/temperament recognition, medication administration, medical-condition awareness, post-op care, and the identification of subtle changes that may indicate pain, anxiety, or physical distress. I am comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and overall presentation that may warrant closer observation or communication with a pet-parent. I am comfortable caring for dogs across all ages, sizes, and levels of need, including puppies, senior dogs, animals requiring additional behavioral consideration, and pets with established medical or mobility needs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. Whether providing a walk, drop-in visit, extended sitting, or boarding, I approach pet care with the same principles that have guided my professional healthcare experience: attentive observation, appropriate precautions, consistency, clear communication, and respect for individualized care requirements. My goal is not simply to supervise a pet while an owner is away, but to provide knowledgeable, responsible care while maintaining the routine, safety, and level of attention each individual animal requires. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care and am currently preparing for my board examinations, which allows me a highly flexible schedule and the ability to be home much of the time. At present, I have considerable availability for walks, drop-in visits, boarding, and other pet-care needs, and I am able to adjust my study schedule around confirmed bookings. Once I begin working in the hospital, my anticipated schedule will consist of three scheduled shifts per week, leaving the remaining four days largely open and predictable for pet care. I do not have children or other routinely changing obligations that would interfere with confirmed bookings. Any known limitations to my availability will always be communicated in advance, and with clear communication regarding your pet’s schedule and needs, I am currently able to accommodate a wide range of scheduling requests. Safety and attentive supervision are priorities in our home. Between my husband and me, our dogs are never left home without one of us present, and I maintain that same standard of supervision for pets entrusted to my care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.
