“Thanks for a great experience dog sitting my two girls. Another dog sitter had fallen through and I needed to find someone reliable and I found Sylvia and I’m very glad that I did. Thank you for watching them with such short notice and going above and beyond take care of them and give them exercise, as well as taking them to your art gallery event and just including them. I feel like I would highly recommend Sylvia and I hope that I can have you watch the dogs again if we come back to Ashland”
“First of all, our dog Cojo absolutely LOVES Anika! This was a huge relief to us since he is usually a little reserved around new people, being an Aussie. He's also pretty high-energy and barely 1-year old, so he's still learning. Luckily, Anika is a natural with dogs and you can tell she takes the time to get to know and care for each one. She has two adorable, friendly dogs of her own that play well with Cojo and the other sweet pups that come to visit. She is also an awesome communicator, responds very quickly, and is great about sending photo/video updates throughout the day. We never worry when he's with her, he's always super excited to visit and comes back exhausted and happy! We have nothing but good things to say about Anika. :)”

“Kristina was so wonderful with Rosie! Rosie did not want to leave! She had lots of toys to play with & lots of love! Kristina sent funny pics and updates through Rosie’s stay and she responded quickly to my texts and questions. I will definitely reach out to Kristina again to care for Rosie & I highly recommend her & Winter to care for your dog!”
“Linda was great! So flexible dealing with a young puppy, and sent fun pictures updating me on the day. She was easy to communicate with and made accommodations. Raven was happy and worn out after a day of playing at her house!”

About: Dogs are my passion. I have 2 dogs, currently. Both dogs in home are female, spayed and up to date on vaccines. My girls are 2 and 3 years old. They've been trained by a professional behavior specialist. Your pup will have full access to the house and backyard. We have a doggy door, so they can come in and out as much as they want. I have experience giving medication, if needed. (I took care of my dog when he had cancer.) I am licensed and insured. Looking forward to caring for your pup! Please reach out, with any questions. I have open availability. I can provide daycare, boarding, walks and basic training. I can also assist with training for walking. If your pup pulls on walks, I can help! I have a fenced yard, in a great neighborhood. I have 2 dogs that are great with other dogs. We have plenty of toys and activities to keep your dogs happy and active. I, myself walk my dogs 2.5 miles. And would be happy to walk your pup, too! My girls have their own room. They love to look out the window and be nosey.🤣 My girls get fed twice a day. We have healthy treats. So, please let me know if your pup has any allergies. Dogs are fed in separate rooms. Treats given separately as well. My girls respect space. They know that word and what it means.
“Bryce and Nate have been incredibly accommodating and have kept our Loki pup (beagle) walked and snuggled during his daycare! He comes home a happy little guy! Highly recommend!”

“Helped me very last second with watching my pup when I found out the place we were going did not allow dogs. Flexible on timing and all of their dogs got along with my little 30lb beagle.”

“Kyndra is a great pet sitter. I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time (I’m an over protective dog mom) and she sent updates and photos of my pup and assured me she was having a good time. Will def use again when I’m back in town.”

“Beau loves going to see Haylee and play with her dog there. She is very accommodating and gave his eye drops as well. He comes home happy and worn out. If I wasn't moving out of the area, he'd be there while I work. She is a great person to care for your fur baby!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
