About: My husband and I have always had dogs in our lives, and while we’re taking a little break from having pups of our own right now, we miss having them around immensely. Our kids are grown and out of the house, and we love having the freedom to travel, so we’re just not quite ready to bring another dog into our family full-time. That’s actually what made us think Rover would be perfect for us — we get to love on and spoil your pups while giving them a home away from home when you need one! We also know firsthand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. When your pup stays with us, we want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved and cared for just like we would want for our own. We have a very clean, dog-friendly home and a fully fenced, secure backyard with lots of room to explore, play, or just hang out in the sunshine. Dogs are welcome on our furniture, and there will be plenty of snuggles, attention and love. We do not kennel dogs in our home. We also have experience giving medications and caring for dogs who need a little extra attention, as we’ve been through that with our own dogs over the years. More than anything, we just genuinely love dogs. We may not be ready for another pup of our own quite yet, but we have lots of dog love to give in the meantime. ❤️🐾 We would love the opportunity to spoil yours and make our home feel like their second home while you’re away. When your pup is staying with us, they’ll rarely be alone! We love having them around and they’ll typically be right alongside us throughout the day. If your pup enjoys going “bye-bye,” and with your permission, we’re happy to bring them along when we can. My office is also dog-friendly, so they can come to work with me and keep me company if the owner allows. For walks and drop-in visits, my schedule is very flexible, which makes it easy for me to work around your pet’s routine and what works best for you. We know how much your pup means to you and how hard it can be to leave them in someone else’s care. We want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re not only being cared for, but genuinely loved while you’re away. Our hope is that they’re excited to come stay with us — and you can leave knowing they’re in a home where they’ll be treated like part of the family. ❤️🐾 We want your pup to feel safe, comfortable and completely at home while they’re with us. ❤️ We have a fully fenced, secure backyard with plenty of room to explore, play and enjoy some fresh air. We’re very active people, so with your approval, we’re always happy to take your pup along for walks, trips to the park, or other little adventures. Of course, we’ll always follow your normal routine and any instructions you provide because we know every dog is different! Most importantly, we know how much trust it takes to leave your pup in someone else’s care. We love sending photos and videos throughout their stay so you can see what they’re up to, how they’re settling in, and most importantly, that they’re happy and having fun. 🐾 Whether we’re caring for your pup in our home or yours, we’ll treat them, your home, and their routine with the same care and respect we would want for our own. Our goal is for you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your pup is safe, loved, and getting plenty of attention and snuggles!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. There has not been a time in my life where my family or myself did not have a pet. I have dog sat for many years as well for family! I currently have a golden retriever and she’s my adventure buddy! I have a full time job but able to do visits starting after 2:30. In the summers I have Friday off. I do commute to work so I am able to stop in for a visit or dog walking all the way up to grants pass area! I will make sure my attention is towards your pets! About: Have always had dogs of my own until recently, and before adding a new member to the family we’d love to help out with yours! Available on the weekends beginning Friday and if your animal can be crated- weekdays are possible as well. Also open to holidays with enough notice I have a fenced backyard and live in a calm neighborhood with minimal traffic but plenty of walking trails to keep your pet active, have 2 children in the home who love animals too!

About: My background in animal care extends well beyond traditional pet sitting. I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My subsequent transition into “human” healthcare has further strengthened the attention to detail and standard of care that I bring to every animal entrusted to me. My veterinary experience provided a comprehensive foundation in safe animal handling, canine behavior/temperament recognition, medication administration, medical-condition awareness, post-op care, and the identification of subtle changes that may indicate pain, anxiety, or physical distress. I am comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and overall presentation that may warrant closer observation or communication with a pet-parent. I am comfortable caring for dogs across all ages, sizes, and levels of need, including puppies, senior dogs, animals requiring additional behavioral consideration, and pets with established medical or mobility needs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. Whether providing a walk, drop-in visit, extended sitting, or boarding, I approach pet care with the same principles that have guided my professional healthcare experience: attentive observation, appropriate precautions, consistency, clear communication, and respect for individualized care requirements. My goal is not simply to supervise a pet while an owner is away, but to provide knowledgeable, responsible care while maintaining the routine, safety, and level of attention each individual animal requires. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care and am currently preparing for my board examinations, which allows me a highly flexible schedule and the ability to be home much of the time. At present, I have considerable availability for walks, drop-in visits, boarding, and other pet-care needs, and I am able to adjust my study schedule around confirmed bookings. Once I begin working in the hospital, my anticipated schedule will consist of three scheduled shifts per week, leaving the remaining four days largely open and predictable for pet care. I do not have children or other routinely changing obligations that would interfere with confirmed bookings. Any known limitations to my availability will always be communicated in advance, and with clear communication regarding your pet’s schedule and needs, I am currently able to accommodate a wide range of scheduling requests. Safety and attentive supervision are priorities in our home. Between my husband and me, our dogs are never left home without one of us present, and I maintain that same standard of supervision for pets entrusted to my care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.

About: I have plenty of experience caring for pets through pet sitting for multiple clients as well as family & friends. I’ve looked after both dogs and cats, and my responsibilities have included feeding, going on walks, administering medication, and spending quality time with them so they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I also cared for my senior dog until she passed away at 15. As she got older, she required a great deal of attention, patience, and hands-on care. I give pets plenty of loving attention and aim to adapt to their needs & differences. I understand that every animal has a different personality, so I always respect their boundaries and give them the time and space they need to feel safe. My goal is to create a warm, calm, and comfortable environment where each pet can relax and be themselves. I also love keeping pets active and engaged through games of fetch, playtime, and nature walks. I’ve found that many dogs especially enjoy being outdoors, exploring, and getting plenty of time to release their energy and have fun.
