About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. I live in a senior mobile home park and I have a fenced in yard. I make sure that animals are safe, fed watered, walked and get plenty of potty breaks. They will get lots of love. I keep the yard clear of poop so that their environment is healthy for them.

“Kyndra was great, she kept in touch and sent photos daily. She even made Stitch his own spot in her office so he could keep her company while she worked. She also wasn’t afraid to offer feedback and suggestions for future sittings/sitters. Thanks Kyndra 🩷”

About: Hey! Thanks for clicking on my profile. I’ve spent years caring for pups for friends, family, neighbors, and through fostering and training service dogs. Most of that happened outside of Rover, so my review count here doesn’t really reflect my experience. I’m just new to using the platform. I work from home, so I’m around during the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, or just hanging out with pups who don’t like being alone all day. I’ve worked with energetic puppies, older dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience or consistency. I’m comfortable following your routines and making sure your pup feels safe and settled while you’re away. I’m the kind of person who sends updates because I know I’d want them too. My goal is pretty simple: for you to come home to a happy pup who had a good day. Because I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. My routine typically includes: >>Morning Walks/Playtime: I start the day with a walk or play session to ensure pets get the exercise they need. >>Midday Breaks: I take regular breaks from work to check in on the pets, provide meals, and offer additional playtime or cuddles. >>Training Sessions: If training is needed, I incorporate short, positive reinforcement sessions into the day. >>Evening Care: The day winds down with another walk or playtime, followed by a relaxing evening together. This structure allows me to ensure pets receive continuous care and attention, making them feel secure and well-loved. >>Communication and Updates: I provide regular updates, including photos and messages, to keep you informed and reassured about your pet's well-being. >>Pet-Proof Environment: My home is carefully pet-proofed to ensure a safe and secure space for pets to explore, rest, and play without hazards. >>Constant Supervision: Since I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods, ensuring they receive consistent care and attention. >>Outdoor Walks and Exercise: I regularly take pets out for walks in pet-friendly areas nearby, ensuring they get the fresh air and exercise they need in a safe environment. >>Comfort & Routine: My home is calm and inviting, with cozy resting spots and engaging toys that help pets feel at ease and reduce stress. I also follow the pet's established routine and care preferences, ensuring consistency and comfort. >>Respect for Your Space: I treat your home with respect, keeping it clean and tidy while ensuring your pet feels comfortable and secure.

About: Hi! I’m Laura, and I would love to care for your furry family members while you’re away. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their personalities, and making them feel safe, loved, and at home. Whether your dog loves long walks and adventures or prefers cuddles and a cozy place to nap, I do my best to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I work primarily from home, which allows me to spend a lot of time with the pets in my care. I also have a small postpartum care business and occasionally visit clients, but those visits are typically short. I am rarely away from home for more than 3 hours at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care enjoy daily walks, park visits, playtime, and lots of affection. Whenever possible, they come along with me on pet-friendly errands and outings, becoming part of my daily routine rather than simply being boarded. Many of my days revolve around the pets I’m caring for, and I genuinely enjoy having them by my side. I accept only one family’s pet at a time so that each pet receives plenty of individualized attention, affection, and companionship. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away. I share my home with my sweet Maltese, Bella. She is small, friendly, and used to being around other dogs. If you are interested in house sitting, I would need to bring Bella with me, provided your pet is comfortable with other dogs and you are comfortable with the arrangement. Otherwise, I am happy to welcome your pet into my home where they can enjoy a safe, loving environment with lots of attention and care. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I provide regular updates, photos and videos for peace of mind. There is nothing better than seeing a pet settle in, trust me, and start feeling completely at home. I treat every animal as if they were my own and would be honored to care for yours. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work primarily from home, which allows me to spend most of my day with the pets in my care. I also run a small postpartum care business and occasionally visit clients, but those visits are typically short, and I am rarely away from home for more than 3 hours at a time. My days are structured around making sure the animals in my care receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and affection. Dogs enjoy regular potty breaks, daily walks, park visits, playtime, and lots of one-on-one interaction throughout the day. Whenever appropriate, they may also join me on pet-friendly errands and outings. In the evenings, I enjoy relaxing at home, which means plenty of cuddle time and companionship for pets who enjoy being close to their people. Because I intentionally keep the number of pets I care for limited, I am able to give each animal individualized attention and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it doesn’t feel like a job—it feels like having additional furry family members in my home. I strive to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in yours. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can provide care that feels familiar and consistent. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I have a securely fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor time, and dogs enjoy daily walks, park visits, playtime, and lots of opportunities to relax and feel at home. My small Maltese, Bella, is friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and bedtime routines. My goal is to keep their environment as stress-free and familiar as possible while you’re away. I provide regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy, and well cared for. Every pet receives lots of love, attention, and individualized care while they are with me.
“Abigail was awesome! We were nervous leaving our 7 month old pup with her for seven days since we had never left him with anyone before, but when we picked him up we could 100% feel that he was treated with love and kindness the whole time. We will definitely be booking with her again as soon as we have a need.”

“I had a great experience with this sitter! She took wonderful care of my dog during her three-night stay and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I especially appreciated the frequent updates and photos she sent throughout the stay. It was reassuring to see my dog happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Communication was excellent, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog's well-being. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring dog sitter.”

“Would absolutely recommend Samantha to anyone looking for an amazing pet sitter. I have an older dog with very specific needs and she was the best caretaker of him I’ve ever had. She was very attentive and loving to him and made sure he was comfortable for the full two weeks that I was away. If you are looking for a competent, kind, loving pet sitter, look no further.”
“Kristina really enjoyed having Winston as a guest. She sent updates and pics, and he clearly was fully relaxed and happy in her care. I will use her again, and again, and again!!”

“Patricia is an amazing sitter. I came from WA, drove to Medford, then had to board my dog Blue while I flew to Phoenix, AZ and drove back to Medford with my Dad. Many things went wrong on the trip, but not once did I have to worry about Blue at all. Patricia sent me pictures and updates to let me know he was doing okay, but even without those, I knew she would take good care of him. You could tell she loved animals and was responsible. I can't thank her enough for the peace of mind she brought me. Thank you again Patricia!”

About: I have plenty of experience petting sitting for friends & family. I've looked after both dogs & cats, and my responsibilities included going for walks, feeding pets, hanging out and spending time with them, and giving medication. I also cared for my senior dog, who passed when she was 15 and requires intensive attention and care. I'm currently a part-time wellness coach, which allows my schedule to be fairly open! I'm available during the week & weekends, from 6am-5pm, and nights if schedules align. I give pets lots of cuddles & loving, if that's something they are willing to receive. Also, make sure I give a safe space for them and a warm environment to make them comfortable. I love to play fetch with them, take them on nature walks (I find that most dogs LOVE nature), and give them time to get their energy out and have fun!
“Our Ruby spent two days and one night with Danijela. Ruby was so well cared for! She took Ruby for walks, gave her personalized attention, and sent us pictures and updates. Next time we need a sitter in the Medford area, we will definitely contact Danijela!”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and have had my fair share of dog sitting experience for friends, neighbors and in addition to babysitting (which is a challenge in itself). I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and would love to help in any way I can! I’m currently working a 48/96 schedule so I have consistent rotating days but am available most week days for extra help or on some weekends! I have an apartment within walking distance to parks and am on the first level so it is easily accessible for older pups. I don’t have a fenced yard.

“Caleigh is amazing, my cat got along with her dog too, she sent pictures and videos of him. She's a great choice and made me feel comfortable with leaving my boy with her, I knew he was 100% safe with her.”

We came for the Shakespeare Festival and Bryce watched our dog while we were at various plays. Our dog is very anxious in general, but he quickly calmed and by the second day (3rd visit) he actually acted excited to be arriving at Bryce's house. As a bonus, Bruce slowed is to use visitor parking and we enjoyed a short walk to the venue and picked up our dog between performances, then dropped him back off.

Sophonie was great. I felt relieved that Omzi my cat was in a loving, caring home. Sophonie even let me visit a couple of times in the beginning to calm Omzi as he transitioned to a new space. And she sent a lot of adorable photos and videos, that eased my concern for him. I'm grateful to have found Sophonie and her kindness and easy going manner were a gift. I also was charmed that her boyfriend and Omzi got along so well. Now he has found two new buddies. Thanks, Sophonie.

Zoey had such a great time staying with Kenedi while I was out of town! Kenedi was so good with Zoey and cared for her like she was her own. I had peace of mind knowing Zoey was safe and well cared for. I can tell Zoey really enjoyed her time there. I would absolutely let Kenedi Watch Zoey again in the future!

Rebecca is a wonderful, caring dog sitter! She went out of her way to meet to make sure our girl felt comfortable and sent several texts with photos to help reassure me that things were going well. So grateful for her kind, nurturing spirit. Would absolutely work with her again! Thanks Rebecca!
Kyra has taken great care of my dog twice, once for a week long stay. She is attentive to his needs, and takes him along on her outings so he isn’t left alone. When I picked up Baxter he was calm and relaxed the next day and I could tell he had been well cared for! I recommend Kyra and hope to book her pet sitting services again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
