“Dolce was very sweet and knowledgeable. My cat has special eating needs which Dolce was comfortable with. Bey looked happy and healthy when I returned. Dolce also noticed one of my outdoor plants was in need of water. She also took care of that. Thank you”

“Chelsey did a great job caring for our pets! She provided plenty of photo updates and made sure to lock up before leaving the home. We’d be happy to have her over again!”

“Eliza did a great job watching our high energy German shepherd and our cat. They both loved Eliza and warmed right up to her. Eliza also gave us extra videos of our dog that had a slight injury just so we could see her progress. It was a relief to know that our babies were being taken care of while we were away.”

“I reached out to Dora last minute, and she was absolutely amazing! Despite encountering some trouble with the lock on my house during her first visit, she never gave up. Thanks to her fantastic care, my 11-year-old bulldog, Noelle, is feeling happy and content. I am incredibly grateful for Dora's last-minute help!”

I understand how important your furry family members are, as my own heart belongs to my beautiful Pug, Sol, whom I've raised since she was a puppy. I even had the experience of bottle-feeding her, so I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Beyond my personal experience, I'm well-versed in all aspects of pet care, including yard maintenance, scheduled feedings, potty routines, and of course, plenty of playtime! I'm an avid walker and would be delighted to provide your furry friend with the exercise and love they deserve. I'm committed to ensuring your pets are happy, healthy, and well-cared for, giving you peace of mind while you're away. Currently, my academic schedule allows me to be available 7 days a week. I pride myself on my calm and friendly demeanor, and I've found that animals generally feel comfortable with me very quickly. When providing care in your home, you can trust that I will be attentive to all the little details that keep your household running smoothly. About: I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was a child and have regularly helped neighbors and family friends with their cats and dogs while they were away- even my friend's mice while they were traveling and my previous roommate's three rats. I'm home from college for the summer and would love to spend my time with your pets! I have a very flexible daily schedule that can adapt to the needs of your pet. My parents have two dogs, one of which is very loving but does not handle other dogs very well. Because of this, I'm not comfortable bringing pets back to my home, but I am very willing to come to your pets to take care of and spend time with them. I am available for shorter drop-in visits, with feeding, play time, and/or walks, as well as longer visits and overnight stays with your pet.
About: I have years of experience caring for pets, including my own animals and those of neighbors and friends. I genuinely love all types of animals and enjoy feeding, playing, or going on walks with them. I just got my own kitty about a year ago, since I am in Ashland for school and basketball, but I have a dog, two cats, and a chicken back in my hometown! I’m very comfortable with both cats and dogs, so I would love the opportunity to help take care of your pets or walk your dogs and make sure they’re happy and well cared for! I currently attend SOU as a student and women's basketball player, so I have classes throughout the week, as well as a few basketball practices/workouts. It is our off-season, however, so my basketball load is pretty light and I would most likely be gone for only 2 1/2 hours max during a few days of the week. I have a kitty who I take very good care of and love to death, so there would be no problem with your pets! I love going for walks throughout the day, so I would love to take your dog for a walk as well! I live in a clean, cozy apartment that my own cat loves. I would follow your cat’s usual routine and make sure they feel calm and cared for. I would give them all the love and attention that they need so that you feel comfortable leaving them with me:) I also live in a safe, outdoorsy neighborhood that’s great for dog walking, but I love to walk dogs anywhere. I always keep dogs on a leash and pay close attention to our surroundings to make sure they stay safe and comfortable as well!
About: For many years I have looked after people dogs while they were away on vacation so I fully understand every part of taking care of an incredible dog! Both a puppy that has a hard time not eating things on walks and a small dog that likes to bark at everyone on walks. Currently a full time college student but I have a lot of time in the evening to get those late night walks in! I also have fully open weekends to play and walk with whoever needs it! I have taken care of dogs who are crate trained and have no problems working with the dog to keep them in whatever inconvenient they need to be in!
About: I have extensive experience walking dogs, animal care, overnight pet sitting and pet check ins. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds and very comfortable with new dogs and animals and can easily establish a relationship with your pet! I make my own schedule and very flexible with my schedule throughout the day and week. So i can currently be available 7 days a week I have a fenced in backyard that my own dog loves to play in. I am very responsible and respectable when walking my dog and other dogs in regards to leashes, picking up poop, and passing other dogs on sidewalks and yards.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was little. My family has never been without either one, so I'm well versed in what it takes to walk, feed, and bathe pets. I know the energy it takes to keep up with kittens and puppies, as well as the support needed for our elderly furry babies. I am currently a barista with varying hours, so I am able to be flexible in the times clients would like for their dog to be walked/cared for. I know basic commands for dogs, and I am a quick learner, so I can be taught anything else that you need in order for your pet to feel safe and secure while I take care of them.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school, up to now as a recent graduate of SOU. I own two cats currently, and have owned many dogs and cats with my family throughout my life. I pet sit often for friends, neighbors and coworkers. I care so much about animals and their safety and comfort, and enjoy being around them! I was dog sitting german shepards as young as 11 years old, and have most recently cat sit for a coworker of mine at the beginning of January. I love the routine of taking care of pets, especially when I am pet sitting. I try to spend as much time as I can throughout the day with the animal, frequently visiting if possible. If I do not have work I will spend lots of time hanging out with the animal throughout the day. I will always visit before I head into work, and on my way home from work. I will then visit once more later in the evening before going to bed. I am super attentive towards a pet’s needs. I follow all instructions with care, and communicate consistently with the owner to make sure the pet is receiving proper attention and care throughout the process. I love sending photos to owners every day if possible, and I spend plenty of time playing, feeding, and walking the animal (depending on what it needs).

About: My yellow lab Yofi was my shadow for 13 years. I am not ready to get another dog, but I love pet-sitting Walks around the block every morning and evening, long hikes off leash every afternoon. I am retired from my counseling practice. I spend a lot of time at home. I do volunteer work in the Community, but usually take dogs with me. I have a large home with a fenced- in back-yard. Dogs can sleep on my bed or on their own doggie bed next to mine.
Ashland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aiyana immediately connected with my two cats and sent lovely pictures each visit. They clearly welcomed her attention, liked playing with toys with her, and would no doubt like to see her again after they chide me for going on a trip! I would definitely book with her again.
Mackie did a great job taking care of our cat while we were away. She made sure our cat was safe, eating well, and that her food and water bowls were always full. Although our cat is a bit shy and didn’t come out much, Mackie was still very attentive and thoughtful. She kept us updated with photos and reached out if she had any questions, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. I would definitely recommend her!

Stacy was wonderful! I could tell she has a big heart from the moment we met her. She took excellent care of our 2 kitty boys and even got our very cautious/skittish fella to come out for pets! Great communication and a lovely experience all around. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

I highly recommend Anna to take care of your pet needs while traveling. During an extended period of travel, Anna was very responsible in caring for my two cats, consistently communicative with photo updates, and even went out of her way to collect mail / packages and water plants while I was away. If you’re looking for a kind, responsible pet sitter who will care about your fur children as much as you do, Anna will not disappoint. A+ Rover sitter.
