About: i've been dog-sitting for 4 years now, I have worked at many houses in the San Jose area in California. I have done cat-sitting for my neighbors and dog walking in Ashland. I am free to work many hours and I would love to take care of your pets! I am in grad school at SOU through June of 2027, and I will be student teaching for much of it. I am available for more hours in the afternoons once school is out and before classes begin. Classes for me are only twice a week, and I will make sure to fit in a walk before it gets dark. My home has one cat, and I grew up with a dog, so I know how to take care of both of these animals. I always lock the door before leaving the house, and I check to make sure I know where my animals are at all times when I am home. I am comfortable feeding pets, giving them water, and giving them medicine if needed. I also know how much quality time means to pets, so I can spend extra time with pets after walks.

About: Welcome! I’m happy to share with you that I’ve been caring for animals for over 30 years, including dogs, cats, reptiles, farm animals, plants, and homes. Throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs—from energetic puppies/kitties and large breed dogs to senior pets who require medication, extra patience, and specialized care. *Before we move forward; an important sidenote to share is that you might notice in my review section some people will call me by my nickname, which is Azraiel, I’ve had that name for so many years that I have to include it in this little section here so that everybody has clarity😇) Moving forward~ One thing that has always mattered to me is understanding that every animal communicates differently. Dogs tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves, while cats often express themselves in much quieter ways. Learning those differences has helped me recognize when they’re excited, anxious, playful, uncomfortable, or simply looking for reassurance. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and mood because those small details often tell us exactly what our companions need. I believe our animals are family members who trust us with their lives, and I believe they deserve to be cared for with that same love, respect, and attentiveness that I would offer my own family. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and preferences, and I enjoy getting to know each one as an individual. I also know that consistency helps pets feel safe and secure, so I do my best to follow their normal routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, bedtime, or simply giving them quiet companionship when that’s what they need. I bring a calm, patient presence and allow animals to build trust naturally, never forcing interactions. Along with compassionate care, I believe professionalism is equally important. I value clear communication, thoughtful updates, and dependable service. I enjoy sending photos and messages so you can relax knowing how your companion is doing while you’re away. You can also count on me to arrive on time (usually a little early), carefully follow your instructions, and treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect. I take pride in leaving your home clean, secure, and just as you left it. My goal is simple: when you leave, I want you to have complete peace of mind. And when you return home, I hope you’re greeted by companions who feel safe, loved, understood, and genuinely cared for. That’s the standard I hold myself to every time I care for someone’s home and the family members who share it. I wanted to experience a lot more freedom and flexibility and so that’s exactly what I have:) Well, that doesn’t disclose an exact schedule, I do want to communicate that I’m happy to discuss whatever schedule may reveal itself. I’m sure we can work something out:) You’ll notice the similar theme in what I expressed here compared to the other sections, regarding safety, trust and environment. I don’t mean to sound repetitive, but considering that we’re talking about a person’s home and family, I think, touching on repeated themes of trust, integrity, and good stewardship are well worth a revisit: 🤓🥰 I know that when you invite someone into your home, you’re not just trusting them with your house—you’re trusting them with members of your family. That’s a responsibility I hold with great care, and I don’t take it lightly. My goal is to honor the routines you’ve created, provide calm and attentive companionship, communicate openly, and care for your home and your animals with genuine respect. About: I've had lots of experience especially with small dogs. I've been a foster parent for the humane society and ended up adopting a dog that I fostered. However, he recently passed so there are no dogs in my home at present. I may have a small dog in my home from time to time as I'm fostering again. I'm comfortable with senior dogs, too. My home is quiet and comfortable. I'm currently working very part-time, so I will have time to care for your treasured dog. I'm available weekends, too. I'm out of cell range during the day on some Thursdays. So if you try to contact me on a Thursday, it will take several hours for me to get back to you. Otherwise, my response rate is exceptional. I have a fenced back yard with a small lawn. If you have me care for dogs in my home, I have crates they can use. Environment is quiet and tranquil.

About: I cared for seniors with pets in their homes during the pandemic. I am a teacher who took a job with Home Instead and was a highly sought after care giver. It was always a pleasure to walk their dogs or sit with their cats. I will be working part time in the afternoons. 2-6. I am free mornings, evenings and overnight to care for your pet. I love to go on walks any time of day. I care for other's pets as if they were my own. I love animals and want to provide the most compassionate and fun loving care for them.

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and a pig. I love all animals. Pigs are my favorite. Hopefully my boyfriend and I are getting a puppy soon. As a full time dog walker/pet sitter I have availability most days. Just give me a heads up and I’ll be playing with your pups in no time :) Unfortunately I can’t board at my apartment. I can however stay overnight at your residence or do frequent check ins depending on your preference.

About: I have years of experience caring for pets, including my own animals and those of neighbors and friends. I genuinely love all types of animals and enjoy feeding, playing, or going on walks with them. I just got my own kitty about a year ago, since I am in Ashland for school and basketball, but I have a dog, two cats, and a chicken back in my hometown! I’m very comfortable with both cats and dogs, so I would love the opportunity to help take care of your pets or walk your dogs and make sure they’re happy and well cared for! I currently attend SOU as a student and women's basketball player, so I have classes throughout the week, as well as a few basketball practices/workouts. It is our off-season, however, so my basketball load is pretty light and I would most likely be gone for only 2 1/2 hours max during a few days of the week. I have a kitty who I take very good care of and love to death, so there would be no problem with your pets! I love going for walks throughout the day, so I would love to take your dog for a walk as well! I live in a clean, cozy apartment that my own cat loves. I would follow your cat’s usual routine and make sure they feel calm and cared for. I would give them all the love and attention that they need so that you feel comfortable leaving them with me:) I also live in a safe, outdoorsy neighborhood that’s great for dog walking, but I love to walk dogs anywhere. I always keep dogs on a leash and pay close attention to our surroundings to make sure they stay safe and comfortable as well!

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school, up to now as a recent graduate of SOU. I own two cats currently, and have owned many dogs and cats with my family throughout my life. I pet sit often for friends, neighbors and coworkers. I care so much about animals and their safety and comfort, and enjoy being around them! I was dog sitting german shepards as young as 11 years old, and have most recently cat sit for a coworker of mine at the beginning of January. I love the routine of taking care of pets, especially when I am pet sitting. I try to spend as much time as I can throughout the day with the animal, frequently visiting if possible. If I do not have work I will spend lots of time hanging out with the animal throughout the day. I will always visit before I head into work, and on my way home from work. I will then visit once more later in the evening before going to bed. I am super attentive towards a pet’s needs. I follow all instructions with care, and communicate consistently with the owner to make sure the pet is receiving proper attention and care throughout the process. I love sending photos to owners every day if possible, and I spend plenty of time playing, feeding, and walking the animal (depending on what it needs).

About: I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was a child and have regularly helped neighbors and family friends with their cats and dogs while they were away- even my friend's mice while they were traveling and my previous roommate's three rats. I'm home from college for the summer and would love to spend my time with your pets! I have a very flexible daily schedule that can adapt to the needs of your pet. My parents have two dogs, one of which is very loving but does not handle other dogs very well. Because of this, I'm not comfortable bringing pets back to my home, but I am very willing to come to your pets to take care of and spend time with them. I am available for shorter drop-in visits, with feeding, play time, and/or walks, as well as longer visits and overnight stays with your pet.

About: My yellow lab Yofi was my shadow for 13 years. I am not ready to get another dog, but I love pet-sitting Walks around the block every morning and evening, long hikes off leash every afternoon. I am retired from my counseling practice. I spend a lot of time at home. I do volunteer work in the Community, but usually take dogs with me. I have a large home with a fenced- in back-yard. Dogs can sleep on my bed or on their own doggie bed next to mine.
