“Eliza has been absolutely wonderful with my dog. She has watched my dog multiple times and has had her over for playtime with her own dogs. Eliza genuinely loves animals, and my dog is always excited to see her. She is reliable, caring, and communicates well, which gives me complete peace of mind whenever my dog is with her. I always know my dog is getting plenty of attention, exercise, and affection in a safe environment. I highly recommend Eliza to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. I’m so grateful to have found her!”

“They were great from start to finish. Quick to respond about my last minute request. Pleasant to work details out with. Jude seemed well cared for and happy when I picked her up. So happy this worked out last minute, they saved the day for me.”

“Linda took great care of our two small dogs, Abby and Cooper, while we were out of town. She has a nice house and a beautiful back yard that was perfect for them to run around in. It was like a weekend play date for our pups and I'm sure they enjoyed playing with the other dogs. We would be very happy to have Linda take care of them again in the future!”

“Jen was an awesome sitter for our sweet Golden, Captain. She was welcoming and kind from the start and I could tell how much she loves her Labs and felt a kinship that Captain would be welcomed into the retriever pack! Although I was nervous because he hasn’t really been around kitties, he ended up doing fine and Jen assured me he adjusted well and she sent great updates and photos while we were away! I highly recommend Jen!”

“Our dog Bodhi had the best time with Avram! He took him to the lake to swim multiple times, played fetch with him, let him roam around his fenced in yard, sent photo updates. We were grateful to know he was in good hands while on vacation! I would highly recommend Avram to watch your furry friends!”

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.
“We never leave our fur-kid, but Jordan made the process feel safe for us as well as Sadie. She took to Jordan shortly after we arrived and we knew it would be a good place for her. We are so pleased to have found Jordan and would recommend him to anyone!”

“Our pup had a wonderful stay with Anika and her family. She was amazing with communication and patience with our dog when she had a tough time sleeping at night. We appreciate her so much! Would absolutely recommend.”

“Abigail was wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and I needed someone last minute and she was great with Huckleberry. She communicated great and sent pictures throughout his visit. He loved it there!”

“Absolutely amazing experience with Anyssah! She kept me informed at all time and assured me he was doing well as this was my first time leaving him with someone he didn’t know. She also accommodated to his needs and just made this stay so much easier for us to go through. I will absolutely book her again if needed. Thank you Anyssah!”

“Alicia was fantastic. She was very welcoming and took great care of Mochi and Waffles. They had fun playing with her dog, Zuko too. Will definitely ask her to take care of Mochi and Waffles in the future.”

“Denise & her husband were wonderful with Henry. They gave him lots of love and snuggles, and I could tell when we picked him up that he had been well cared for. Denise will always be our first pick for our boarding needs!”

“Kristen and Estevan were so wonderful with our dog Webster. It was a longer stay (10 days) and he is a very active dog, but it was more like a doggy spring break than a simple boarding experience. Lot's of fetch, lots of cuddles, lots of pond swimming and enjoying their beautiful property. I got regular of photos of a very happy dog, 10/10 would use them again!”

“Herschel had a great stay with Susan! She was easy to make plans with and asked lots of questions about his care before his stay. I could tell she really wanted to make sure he was well taken care of. Her home has a safe outdoor area that he can run around in. He can be a handful but she did a great job with him!”

About: Over the past 4 years, I have lived in an apartment with at least 1 cat. My last place had 2 cats, and I would care for them while my roommate was away. I have one of my own now and have learned all there is to know caring for her. I can feed them, clean the litter box, clip nails, brush their fur, and respect their boundaries.
“Chelsey did such an excellent job with our two cats while we were away. We can’t thank her enough! We have a senior cat who needs medication and some extra care and Chelsey handled it all like a pro! She was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be hiring her again. Thank you, Chelsey!!”

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart, even since I was just a toddler. I genuinely enjoy their company as well as respect earning trust on their own terms. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of every personality—from outgoing social butterflies to shy seniors who simply need someone calm and patient nearby. I also have experience caring for senior cats who require medication, extra assistance, and close observation. One thing I’ve learned is that cats communicate in subtle ways. Their body language, routines, appetite, and behavior often tell you far more than their meows do. I pay close attention to those little details because they’re often how cats let us know how they’re feeling and what they need. I believe our cats are family members who trust us with their lives, and I believe they deserve to be cared for with the same love, respect, and attentiveness that we would offer any member of our family. Whether your cat enjoys playing, curling up for affection, quietly sharing the same space, or simply observing me from across the room (haha 😆), I’ll respect their personality and let them set the pace. I bring a calm, patient presence and never force interactions, allowing trust to develop naturally. I also understand how important consistency is for cats. I’ll carefully follow their normal routines for feeding, medication, playtime, and quiet time so they can feel as comfortable and secure as possible while you’re away. I’ll also send thoughtful updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your companion is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: to help your cat feel safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away, so you can return home to a companion who has been treated with genuine kindness and respect. 🤎
“Heidi was fantastic. My cats are pretty picky and they took to Heidi quickly. She also reached out immediately when there was a medical concern for one of my cats and offered to go back and check on her. She also checked in the next morning to see how my cat was doing, which was very sweet.”

“Brandy was a lifesaver when we had to leave town for an emergency — she knows our pets and routines and jumped in the same day to assist. She went above and beyond to ensure everyone was cared for (ourselves included) and we feel so lucky to have her as a sitter.”

“Dora is dependable and kind. She cared for our kitty for a week and he seems to have enjoyed her company. Because we have an electronic door lock, we know that she came every day, twice a day as planned. She ent pictures and was responsive to texts. We will use her again without hesitation.”

“Dolce was very sweet and knowledgeable. My cat has special eating needs which Dolce was comfortable with. Bey looked happy and healthy when I returned. Dolce also noticed one of my outdoor plants was in need of water. She also took care of that. Thank you”

“Aiyana was great with our two cats. It was our first time using her services and she was great. We have one "hidey" cat and he came out every day to see her which was great. I recommend her for cat sitting - reliable, communicative, and thorough.”

“We left our almost 2 year old lab Charley with Alan for day care for about 7 hours while we explored Ashland and went to the Shakespeare Festival to see a play. Alan took Charley to play at the dog park and also to cool off in the creek. He said pictures and let us know how she was doing during the day. Charley had a great time with Alan. She was safe and happy and we knew our girl was in good hands! I would highly recommend Alan for doggy daycare and will use him again next time we come to beautiful Ashland!”

About: I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was a child and have regularly helped neighbors and family friends with their cats and dogs while they were away- even my friend's mice while they were traveling and my previous roommate's three rats. I'm home from college for the summer and would love to spend my time with your pets! I have a very flexible daily schedule that can adapt to the needs of your pet. My parents have two dogs, one of which is very loving but does not handle other dogs very well. Because of this, I'm not comfortable bringing pets back to my home, but I am very willing to come to your pets to take care of and spend time with them. I am available for shorter drop-in visits, with feeding, play time, and/or walks, as well as longer visits and overnight stays with your pet.
“Lindsey is a friendly and patient walker! Our BMD puppy warmed up to her right away and she was able to go on a really nice long walk to get his energy out. So grateful to have found a walker like Lindsey! Highly recommend and we will be continuing to book walks with her.”

About: Welcome! I’m happy to share with you that I’ve been caring for animals for over 30 years, including dogs, cats, reptiles, farm animals, plants, and homes. Throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs—from energetic puppies/kitties and large breed dogs to senior pets who require medication, extra patience, and specialized care. *Before we move forward; an important sidenote to share is that you might notice in my review section some people will call me by my nickname, which is Azraiel, I’ve had that name for so many years that I have to include it in this little section here so that everybody has clarity😇) Moving forward~ One thing that has always mattered to me is understanding that every animal communicates differently. Dogs tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves, while cats often express themselves in much quieter ways. Learning those differences has helped me recognize when they’re excited, anxious, playful, uncomfortable, or simply looking for reassurance. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and mood because those small details often tell us exactly what our companions need. I believe our animals are family members who trust us with their lives, and I believe they deserve to be cared for with that same love, respect, and attentiveness that I would offer my own family. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and preferences, and I enjoy getting to know each one as an individual. I also know that consistency helps pets feel safe and secure, so I do my best to follow their normal routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, bedtime, or simply giving them quiet companionship when that’s what they need. I bring a calm, patient presence and allow animals to build trust naturally, never forcing interactions. Along with compassionate care, I believe professionalism is equally important. I value clear communication, thoughtful updates, and dependable service. I enjoy sending photos and messages so you can relax knowing how your companion is doing while you’re away. You can also count on me to arrive on time (usually a little early), carefully follow your instructions, and treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect. I take pride in leaving your home clean, secure, and just as you left it. My goal is simple: when you leave, I want you to have complete peace of mind. And when you return home, I hope you’re greeted by companions who feel safe, loved, understood, and genuinely cared for. That’s the standard I hold myself to every time I care for someone’s home and the family members who share it. Lastly, I know what it’s like to place your trust in someone else to care for those you love most, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly! 😊❤️🔥 Thank you for reading my little note here, I appreciate your time and energy~ Looking forward to connecting with you and your pet fam! 🐶🤍😻 I have in the past few months opened my life up in a way I have never done before. I wanted to experience a lot more freedom and flexibility and so that’s exactly what I have:) Well, that doesn’t disclose an exact schedule, I do want to communicate that I’m happy to discuss whatever schedule may reveal itself. I’m sure we can work something out:) You’ll notice the similar theme in what I expressed here compared to the other sections, regarding safety, trust and environment. I don’t mean to sound repetitive, but considering that we’re talking about a person’s home and family, I think, touching on repeated themes of trust, integrity, and good stewardship are well worth a revisit: 🤓🥰 I know that when you invite someone into your home, you’re not just trusting them with your house—you’re trusting them with members of your family. That’s a responsibility I hold with great care, and I don’t take it lightly. My goal is to honor the routines you’ve created, provide calm and attentive companionship, communicate openly, and care for your home and your animals with genuine respect. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe, so I do my best to maintain their normal routines while also paying close attention to their comfort, behavior, and individual needs. Whether I’m staying overnight or stopping by for a visit, you can expect thoughtful updates, dependable communication, and a home that’s cared for with the same respect I give your companions. I strive to leave your home just as you left it—clean, secure, and well cared for. Above all, I hope you can leave with complete peace of mind, knowing your companions are safe, understood, and cared for by someone who truly sees them as family. My commitment is to provide faithful stewardship of both your home and the family members who share it.
“Dolce communicates well and maintains a strong standard of professionalism. She worked well with Merlin who is shy with new folks. She took her time and successfully took my boy on a walk while I was at work”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school, up to now as a recent graduate of SOU. I own two cats currently, and have owned many dogs and cats with my family throughout my life. I pet sit often for friends, neighbors and coworkers. I care so much about animals and their safety and comfort, and enjoy being around them! I was dog sitting german shepards as young as 11 years old, and have most recently cat sit for a coworker of mine at the beginning of January. I love the routine of taking care of pets, especially when I am pet sitting. I try to spend as much time as I can throughout the day with the animal, frequently visiting if possible. If I do not have work I will spend lots of time hanging out with the animal throughout the day. I will always visit before I head into work, and on my way home from work. I will then visit once more later in the evening before going to bed. I am super attentive towards a pet’s needs. I follow all instructions with care, and communicate consistently with the owner to make sure the pet is receiving proper attention and care throughout the process. I love sending photos to owners every day if possible, and I spend plenty of time playing, feeding, and walking the animal (depending on what it needs).

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and a pig. I love all animals. Pigs are my favorite. Hopefully my boyfriend and I are getting a puppy soon. As a full time dog walker/pet sitter I have availability most days. Just give me a heads up and I’ll be playing with your pups in no time :) Unfortunately I can’t board at my apartment. I can however stay overnight at your residence or do frequent check ins depending on your preference.
“Kara is a great walker! She clearly cared about our pup and was enthusiastic to take her out. Great communication and obviously wanted to do a great job. Will book again for sure in the future!”

“The first day went well. Avram is walking Moriah for a week or 2 while I recover from surgery. Communication was good. He was on time and Moriah was happy to get out for a sniff.”

“Lini is super caring and communicative! She genuinely cares for the pets she’s trusted with. My dog loves her and I feel entirely confident in her abilities. Would hire over and over again!”

About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for many different dogs over the years. When I was 11, my family adopted a large Border Collie puppy, and I was very active in the responsibilities needed for a puppy with that much energy. Over time, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting because different dogs, especially by breed have different personalities and maintenances that are unique. I’m active and able to walk/do activities with dogs, but through experience not all dogs need that, and L’m excited to meet new pups! I’ve had significant experience with: collies, huskies, chihuahuas, rat terriers, labs, doodle mixes, and mixed recuse dogs! I work part time, but I am also a college student-athlete! In the summers and late spring my schedule is almost completely clear! In the school year I do not work, but I have certain times blocked off for practice. I am available by phone almost all hours of the day! Whether I am in my own home, a clients home, or the public, I only want to ensure that the animal I am with feels safe and all its needs are met. I want the pet to have a good time and feel comfortable with me. In terms of environment I think being neat and clean is very important for both the pet and myself. When mealtimes come, I make all my animals sit or wait patiently until the food is ready and I am not mean, but I do encourage good behavior at all times and try to get the pet to practice small trainings or commands when appropriate.
