“Dolce communicates well and maintains a strong standard of professionalism. She worked well with Merlin who is shy with new folks. She took her time and successfully took my boy on a walk while I was at work”

About: I enjoy daily walks - either in the morning or a sunset walk! Zuko keeps me great company on those walks & I bet your doggo will love them too :). I’m currently working part time and studying for the LSAT. I would love to host your doggo with my two year old pup who loves to play! I have a fenced yard with water bowls, treats available and toys for the dogs to play with! I keep the dogs in my eyesight.
“Kara is a great walker! She clearly cared about our pup and was enthusiastic to take her out. Great communication and obviously wanted to do a great job. Will book again for sure in the future!”

“The first day went well. Avram is walking Moriah for a week or 2 while I recover from surgery. Communication was good. He was on time and Moriah was happy to get out for a sniff.”

“Dillon has been awesome! He communicates well and is understanding. If he can accommodate last-minute changes, he will. Draco is smiling in almost every picture that is submitted on his Rover card; it brings me a tremendous peace of mind when I have to work long days to know that Dillon is there giving my boy rubs, loves and treats!”

“Alicia is fantastic! My sweet but very anxious lab trusted her immediately. She understands dog behavior and was happy to work with all his individual quirks. We felt very confident that he was in great hands while we were gone.”

I know the energy it takes to keep up with kittens and puppies, as well as the support needed for our elderly furry babies. I am currently a barista with varying hours, so I am able to be flexible in the times clients would like for their dog to be walked/cared for. I know basic commands for dogs, and I am a quick learner, so I can be taught anything else that you need in order for your pet to feel safe and secure while I take care of them.

I pride myself on my calm and friendly demeanor, and I've found that animals generally feel comfortable with me very quickly. When providing care in your home, you can trust that I will be attentive to all the little details that keep your household running smoothly. About: I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was a child and have regularly helped neighbors and family friends with their cats and dogs while they were away- even my friend's mice while they were traveling and my previous roommate's three rats. I'm home from college for the summer and would love to spend my time with your pets! I have a very flexible daily schedule that can adapt to the needs of your pet. My parents have two dogs, one of which is very loving but does not handle other dogs very well. Because of this, I'm not comfortable bringing pets back to my home, but I am very willing to come to your pets to take care of and spend time with them. I am available for shorter drop-in visits, with feeding, play time, and/or walks, as well as longer visits and overnight stays with your pet.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with dogs since I was a baby. As a kid I helped my dad train our black labs (Apache & Meg) to hunt. Into my teens I trained my two German-short haired pointers (Gretchen & Pluto) and my yellow lab (Daisy) to be good family dogs. Pet-sitting was one of the first “jobs” I had starting at the age of about 10. I have previously & am willing to also pet-sit cats. I am a student at SOU. My availability is as follows: Monday: 8am - 12pm & 5pm on. Tuesday: 10am - 3pm. Thursday: 1pm on. Friday - Sunday: All day. I live with roommates that have a dog & two cats, so I will not be able to accommodate my clients’ dogs or cats in my own home at this time. However, in my clients home, I will give your dog &/or cat lots of love. I plan to enforce the same type of training & commands that their owners use.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
