“Sage stayed in my home and took care of my dog Osa for a week . She sent me daily photos and it looks like my dog had a lot of fun! My home was spotless and my dog was very happy when I returned home. I am very thankful for her and hope she will stay with Osa again in the future!”

“Dora was absolutely fantastic- she sent daily updates and it was clear she was taking good care of our pup. We ended up having an emergency and needed to extend our trip by 3 days- she saved us a huge headache and saved the day by being available to stay longer. She left our house clean and well taken care of. I will definitely be asking her to take care of Gizmo again!”

“We are very grateful to Bryce and Nate for caring for our Stella! This was our first time hiring a pet sitter (aside from friends and family) and we were pleased with how well things worked out. Both Bryce and Nate are very friendly and Stella warmed up to them right away. From the get go the communication was great, and we felt confident that she was being well cared for. We will definitely ask them to help out again!”

“This is the first time Louis watched our dog. Lemon can be a nervous pup, and it was apparent that Louis understood how to care for her well. I'm so pleased with how the sit went, and my pets were so obviously well cared for. Additionally, Louis did a great job administering meds for both Lemon and my elderly cat. Amazing sitter and we certainly hire him again!”

About: For many years I have looked after people dogs while they were away on vacation so I fully understand every part of taking care of an incredible dog! Both a puppy that has a hard time not eating things on walks and a small dog that likes to bark at everyone on walks. Currently a full time college student but I have a lot of time in the evening to get those late night walks in! I also have fully open weekends to play and walk with whoever needs it! I have taken care of dogs who are crate trained and have no problems working with the dog to keep them in whatever inconvenient they need to be in!
“Chelsey took super good care of our two dogs- an older Carolina dog and our young and super energetic Jack Russell Terrier for 2 weeks. Prior to the stay Chelsey was great at communicating with us, setting up a meet and greet, answering all of our questions and providing the references we requested. During her stay at our home she sent us daily check ins with pictures and provided updates about how our dogs were doing. It was wonderful to come home to find two very happy dogs and a very tidy home. We will definitely be calling Chelsey for future house/dog sits and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

“Athena was a wonderful sitter for our dog Hilo. She was patient, caring and responsible. She's a great communicator, kind and very professional. I would recommend her to anyone. She's a trustworthy person who is dependable. We felt right at home having her in our home and are grateful for her.”

“Amazing care and fun updates. Our pets will miss Ben for sure! He went above and beyond making every day active and interesting for the doggies. By far the best, most reliable pet sitter we have had.”

“Karen set a high bar of excellence while caring for Gemma which began during our meet and greet. Gemma took an immediate liking to Karen, rarely the case with people that Gemma doesn't know. While I was away Karen texted multiple updates and photos, and checked in to be sure I had returned as planned. I have only the highest of praise for Karen to watch over any one's furry family member.”

About: I have hands-on experience working as a veterinary technician, where I learned safe handling, medication administration, basic first aid, and how to keep pets calm in new or stressful situations. That background helps me confidently care for puppies, seniors, pets with medical needs, and shy or nervous animals. Outside of clinical work, I’ve grown up caring for family pets. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive — whether your pet needs enrichment and long walks, or quiet cuddles and routine comfort. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule, so I’m able to match your pet’s routine — whether that means early walks, midday visits, or cozy evenings at home. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and the same level of care I’d want for my own. When I’m caring for pets in their home, I follow their established routines — feeding schedules, walks, training cues, boundaries, and any house rules. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secured, and I always keep a close eye during outdoor time or new environments. At my home, pets have a calm, clean space where they can relax, play, or cuddle depending on their energy and personality. I’m attentive during introductions, supervise closely, and provide plenty of enrichment, exercise, and affection. Whether your pet needs structure and long walks or quiet time and a soft place to nap, I’m committed to keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was little. My family has never been without either one, so I'm well versed in what it takes to walk, feed, and bathe pets. I know the energy it takes to keep up with kittens and puppies, as well as the support needed for our elderly furry babies. I am currently a barista with varying hours, so I am able to be flexible in the times clients would like for their dog to be walked/cared for. I know basic commands for dogs, and I am a quick learner, so I can be taught anything else that you need in order for your pet to feel safe and secure while I take care of them.
About: Hi! I’m Jenna, a professional animal caregiver dedicated to keeping tails wagging and paws moving. I have a genuine love for animals and a passion for the outdoors. I provide safe, reliable, and fun walks that keep your dog happy, healthy and well exercised. Whether that’s a walk within your neighborhood or an adventure out in the woods, I tailor each outing to fit your dogs unique personality. I treat every pet as my own, with patience, kindness and plenty of belly rubs and scratches. You can count on me for punctual service, photo updates and peace of mind knowing your fur baby is in good hands. Let’s make every walk your dog’s favorite part of the day! I currently work full time, but my schedule is pretty flexible! I have one cat that lives with me and he is the king of the castle! At your home, I have no problem crating your pets or letting them free roam, whatever is their normal routine, I will cater to their needs! I currently work full time (Monday-Friday) but could make pit stops before and after work! If needed, I can also swing by during my lunch break if it’s not too far out of town :) I currently am not in a home that could provide boarding, however I plan to take on the roles that you provide to your pets to make them feel safe in their home.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school, up to now as a recent graduate of SOU. I own two cats currently, and have owned many dogs and cats with my family throughout my life. I pet sit often for friends, neighbors and coworkers. I care so much about animals and their safety and comfort, and enjoy being around them! I was dog sitting german shepards as young as 11 years old, and have most recently cat sit for a coworker of mine at the beginning of January. I love the routine of taking care of pets, especially when I am pet sitting. I try to spend as much time as I can throughout the day with the animal, frequently visiting if possible. If I do not have work I will spend lots of time hanging out with the animal throughout the day. I will always visit before I head into work, and on my way home from work. I will then visit once more later in the evening before going to bed. I am super attentive towards a pet’s needs. I follow all instructions with care, and communicate consistently with the owner to make sure the pet is receiving proper attention and care throughout the process. I love sending photos to owners every day if possible, and I spend plenty of time playing, feeding, and walking the animal (depending on what it needs).
“Silver was amazing, we are so very grateful for the very attentive care provided to our cat-kids!! I so appreciated her photo updates of how they were doing, while we were away. Those photos really showed that all was well, which comforted us, while away. We highly recommend Silver, and we will certainly hope to implement her expertise with pet sitting and care, in the future.”

Ashland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sage was a wonderful sitter for our Bernese Mountain Dog young boy. She handled his high energy with lots of patients and long walks. She went above and beyond also making homemade dog treats and a card - we were so touched! On top of it all, she left the place immaculately clean. Couldn’t recommend Sage more!

Jordan’s many positive reviews allowed me to feel good about using Rover, for the first time, for an overnight sit. Jordan is a relaxed and steady seeming fellow and I truly appreciated his willingness to stop by prior to the sit so that we could have an in-person intro beforehand.

Annalise was great with our animals! We came home to a happy and healthy dog and cat. She sent us pictures and updates every day with how they were doing and made sure we were able to enjoy our time away without worrying about them. Will definitely be utilizing her services again next time 😊

Thilini made a fast connection and deep with our Golden Retriever, Sophie. We were worried about leaving Sophie in a strange place (hotel room) with a stranger (Thilini) while we went out for the evening and to a play at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival with our 10 year old grandson. It turned out that Thilini is not only a fabulous dog whisperer, but a member of the OSF company and completely inspiring to our grandson. A gift in many ways!

Melissa was wonderful to have stay with our two dogs. One is older and the other is 2 with a lot of energy. She played with them and gave them affection.....sending us updates and photos. It was a pleasure to work with her and to have her in our home. We hope to have her back again! Thank you!

Deborah is the most amazing cat sitter who understands cats! Our senior cat Garp was having some medical issues before we left and she handled everything beautifully. Most interesting is that he sat on her lap, snuggled with her and let her brush him. He has a traumatic history so this was amazing. Left the house spotless, texted us regularly with updates and photos. We were worried about him before we left, especially because we were going to be really far away. We came home to a well cared for kitty. He misses her already! She will always be the person we contact first!

My dog, Marvin, appeared well cared for in our absence. Allan sent picture updates, remembered to give the once monthly HartGuard medicine, and appeared to give Marvin plenty of time on leash. He brought in the mail and tended to the houseplants. He left the kitchen a little less than perfectly clean but clearly made an effort. I would hire Allan again.
