It is important to know as many details as possible. I like to know the nearest emergency vet in case of emergency. How much they eat, when they eat. What their favorite toys or games are. Do they interact with other dogs well? What is their usual temperament with others. Some Health history. How often are they needing to use the bathroom. Which water source is best for their water intake.
A typical day
I love to interact with dogs physically and mentally. I like to talk with them and play with them. I will sit with them and keep them company. I might see if they can shake hands or sing like my golden retriever did when I was a kid.

Pet care experience
I cared for seniors with pets in their homes during the pandemic. I am a teacher who took a job with Home Instead and was a highly sought after care giver. It was always a pleasure to walk their dogs or sit with their cats.

Karen set a high bar of excellence while caring for Gemma which began during our meet and greet. Gemma took an immediate liking to Karen, rarely the case with people that Gemma doesn't know. While I was away Karen texted multiple updates and photos, and checked in to be sure I had returned as planned. I have only the highest of praise for Karen to watch over any one's furry family member.

Karen recently took care of our cat when we were out of town. She was wonderful, responsible and loving with our senior cat. We are happy that she will be staying with our sweet girl again soon when we go out of town. I highly recommend Karen if you need someone to look after your beloved pet.
