I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets.

My two dogs love Aiyana! They're usually pretty skittish with other people, but her patience and gentleness with them has made all the difference. Now they wait at the door for her when it's time for walks! Definitely recommend her!
Aiyana walked my two dogs regularly for several weeks when I had a busy work commitment. She was so attentive to my dogs, played with them, took them to their favorite dog park and took them on hikes. They absolutely adore her and anytime my schedule gets too busy to walk them myself, I ask her to walk them. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with 1-2 weeks notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice.

When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.
Pets
A typical day
I love to care for your pets. I am happy to walk your dog any length that they like, go to a dog park and explore a new trail (if desired). I'm happy to play games with your dog or cat. If your dog likes belly rubs, I bring years of massage therapy experience to share. If you kitty enjoys cuddles or lap time, I'm happy to keep them company for hours.
