“Lisa has done a wonderful job taking care of our cats each time we've been out of town. Not only does she make sure they're fed and all other basic needs are met, but she plays with them and keeps them happy.”

“Serena is a wonderful person. Are dogs looked forward to her visits every day. Serena was always punctual and very professional with communication. We will definitely use her in the future. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you so much Serena..”

“Anika is an incredibly kind and caring dog lover! She takes wonderful care of my high maintenance puppy! She is extremely patient and I know when Anika is there my girl is in good hands. I plan on using Anika continually to care for my dog.”

About: I have over 14 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My background includes lifelong pet ownership, kennel work, veterinary shadowing, and professional pet sitting through Rover. I am comfortable caring for energetic puppies, senior pets, dogs requiring medications (including oral and injectable medications), and pets with special routines or needs. My goal is to provide a calm, structured home where every pet feels safe and comfortable. I understand that every dog is different—some love to play, while others simply want a quiet place to relax. I tailor each stay to your pet's personality, energy level, and routine whenever possible. Safety is one of my highest priorities. I carefully supervise introductions, monitor body language and stress signals, and use separate spaces, baby gates, and crates (when appropriate or requested) to ensure every pet has a positive experience. I believe thoughtful planning and honest communication create the best boarding experience for both pets and their owners. My husband Andrew and I work together to provide attentive care, which means there are two experienced adults available for walks, playtime, supervised introductions, potty breaks, medication administration, and lots of affection. I don't believe every dog is the right fit for every environment—and that's okay. My goal is to ensure every booking is the right fit so every pet can have the safest, happiest, and least stressful experience possible. Whether your pet is staying overnight, spending the day while you're exploring Southern Oregon, or simply needs a safe place to relax while you're out to dinner or attending an event, I strive to treat every guest like a member of our own family. Every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to maintain it while they're in my care. Whether your pet enjoys active play, leisurely walks, or simply lounging nearby, I tailor each day to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work part-time outside the home, but my schedule is intentionally arranged around pet care. Throughout the day, your pet will receive regular potty breaks, supervised playtime, enrichment, exercise, plenty of affection, and opportunities to rest. I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is doing well. Your pet's safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I provide care in a calm, home environment with a fully fenced backyard, baby gates for flexible separation when needed, and thoughtful introductions between dogs. I believe every pet deserves an environment that matches their personality. Some dogs enjoy having a playmate, while others are happiest relaxing on their own—and that's perfectly okay. Our resident pets include: • Benny, our friendly German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, who enjoys meeting new dogs but understands that not every guest wants to play. • Cricket, our tiny 6-pound Chihuahua mix, who generally prefers to quietly observe from a distance. Every once in a while he'll decide another dog is his new best friend—and if that happens, they've definitely won the lottery! Because every pet is different, I supervise interactions closely and adjust the environment to help everyone feel comfortable. My goal is never to force interactions, but to create a positive, low-stress experience for every guest. For first-time boarding and daycare guests—particularly larger dogs or adolescent puppies—I may recommend a Meet & Greet beforehand to ensure my home is the best fit for everyone.
About: I recently had two rescue heeler mixes. We competed in agility, and did herding, barn hunt, and parkour. I loved to hike, walk, run, and be active with my dogs. Now that they're gone, I have an open space in my heart for time with yours. I walk and run or hike several days out of the week. I'd love to bring your well-behaved dog along for their enjoyment and my company! Because I live up a steep gravel driveway, I prefer to meet in town or at your place to take your dog for a walk or run. But if they need to come to my place for sitting, I have a fenced yard with some agility equipment. I also have a dog door, to let them have free access to my .5 acre fenced yard. I do have a cat, so if your dog comes to my place, it will have to get along with her.
About: I am bilingual in English and Spanish! I am very active and available. I will care for your animal with all my love and attention. I have 4 pets of my own, so I understand the seriousness of pet needs. Also have experience giving medication to dogs. I am a chiropractic assistant and work Monday-Thursday. I am available to sit or walk animals every evening and on weekends. I am very flexible! With four cats, I pride on keeping a clean and sanitary home! They deserve the best, and so do your babies. I am willing to stay at your place and keep things exactly the way you want them!
“Jennifer was amazing. She took my last minute booking for the Fourth of July and followed directions to a T. I would definitely rebook with her. We couldn’t even tell that anyone had dropped by”

“Jordan has been wonderful about watching my ducks. It’s a somewhat unusual pet sitting request, but he adapted to it right away and always sends the cutest pictures. I feel confident leaving my duckies knowing Jordan is watching them.”

“Dennis and Judy cared for my cat for a week. They spent time with her and entertained her. They sent pictures of my happy cat! I would definitely have them care for my cat again!”

“Diana was great, we could not be happier with her service! She was so sweet to our 11 year old pups that they took to her instantly (not an easy task!). Diana also went above and beyond by bringing in our mail and taking out our trash cans without being asked. We definitely recommend her and plan to use services again!”

I’m a dependable, compassionate animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with all animals. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same love, patience and attention of want for my own. Your pets safety and happiness are my top priorities. “Andrea took great care of my cats while I was away over night. She was very professional and clearly cares about animals and making sure that their people feel comfortable and reassured. She kept me updated, and I wasn’t worried for a moment while I was gone.”

About: I’ve owned pets for all my life and believe that all animals deserve to be treated with kindness and love. I’ve helped walk and dog sit for people for four years now. I’ve stayed with puppies, senior dogs (barely can walk and use the bathroom), and dogs filled with anxiety. I hope to make your pet’s time away from you as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. I’m home from college this summer so my schedule is very open to staying with a pet for however long they need. Staying over night or just a few hours to keep them entertained, loved, and cared for all work perfectly with my schedule. I love to spend personal time with my clients’ pets, making sure their nervous systems are regulated and cared for. I don’t just care for their physical health but also mental. I can stay at my client’s house and take pets on daily walks, making sure they get plenty of of exercise.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life and have several years of hands-on pet care experience. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets while they're away, including feeding, walking, playing, administering basic care, and providing lots of love and attention. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I always do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. I am currently working part time remotely, therefore I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and extended pet sitting depending on your needs. I make it a priority to be dependable, communicative, and attentive so you can feel confident your pets are receiving excellent care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Having grown up with both dogs and cats, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing supervision, and creating a calm environment. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and house rules. Whether caring for pets in your home or during walks and visits, I treat every animal as if they were my own and ensure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
