About: I've been an animal lover since birth. I've had a variety of pets growing up and am open minded and caring towards all animals. I've had dogs, cats, bird, fish, lizards, snakes, and hamsters. I've worked at an animal hospital as well as taken animal science classes in college. I've also volunteered at a zoo. I have a lot of experience under my belt and I'd take care of your pet, your way. I am currently a stay at home parent looking for part time work to fill my day while my kiddos are in school. I am able to care for your pets as needed with my flexible schedule. I have a fenced yard. I also have a dedicated dog run area that is also separately fenced. I have two Australian Shepherds to keep your pup company or I can keep them all separate. I also have the space to crate train if needed.

About: My background in animal care extends well beyond traditional pet sitting. I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My subsequent transition into “human” healthcare has further strengthened the attention to detail and standard of care that I bring to every animal entrusted to me. My veterinary experience provided a comprehensive foundation in safe animal handling, canine behavior/temperament recognition, medication administration, medical-condition awareness, post-op care, and the identification of subtle changes that may indicate pain, anxiety, or physical distress. I am comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and overall presentation that may warrant closer observation or communication with a pet-parent. I am comfortable caring for dogs across all ages, sizes, and levels of need, including puppies, senior dogs, animals requiring additional behavioral consideration, and pets with established medical or mobility needs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. Whether providing a walk, drop-in visit, extended sitting, or boarding, I approach pet care with the same principles that have guided my professional healthcare experience: attentive observation, appropriate precautions, consistency, clear communication, and respect for individualized care requirements. My goal is not simply to supervise a pet while an owner is away, but to provide knowledgeable, responsible care while maintaining the routine, safety, and level of attention each individual animal requires. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care and am currently preparing for my board examinations, which allows me a highly flexible schedule and the ability to be home much of the time. At present, I have considerable availability for walks, drop-in visits, boarding, and other pet-care needs, and I am able to adjust my study schedule around confirmed bookings. Once I begin working in the hospital, my anticipated schedule will consist of three scheduled shifts per week, leaving the remaining four days largely open and predictable for pet care. I do not have children or other routinely changing obligations that would interfere with confirmed bookings. Any known limitations to my availability will always be communicated in advance, and with clear communication regarding your pet’s schedule and needs, I am currently able to accommodate a wide range of scheduling requests. Safety and attentive supervision are priorities in our home. Between my husband and me, our dogs are never left home without one of us present, and I maintain that same standard of supervision for pets entrusted to my care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.

I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and love making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and can give your pet plenty of attention, restroom breaks, and companionship. I’m able to keep a consistent routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while they’re staying with me. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: My husband and I have always had dogs in our lives, and while we’re taking a little break from having pups of our own right now, we miss having them around immensely. Our kids are grown and out of the house, and we love having the freedom to travel, so we’re just not quite ready to bring another dog into our family full-time. That’s actually what made us think Rover would be perfect for us — we get to love on and spoil your pups while giving them a home away from home when you need one! We also know firsthand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. When your pup stays with us, we want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved and cared for just like we would want for our own. We have a very clean, dog-friendly home and a fully fenced, secure backyard with lots of room to explore, play, or just hang out in the sunshine. Dogs are welcome on our furniture, and there will be plenty of snuggles, attention and love. We do not kennel dogs in our home. We also have experience giving medications and caring for dogs who need a little extra attention, as we’ve been through that with our own dogs over the years. More than anything, we just genuinely love dogs. We may not be ready for another pup of our own quite yet, but we have lots of dog love to give in the meantime. ❤️🐾 We would love the opportunity to spoil yours and make our home feel like their second home while you’re away. When your pup is staying with us, they’ll rarely be alone! We love having them around and they’ll typically be right alongside us throughout the day. If your pup enjoys going “bye-bye,” and with your permission, we’re happy to bring them along when we can. My office is also dog-friendly, so they can come to work with me and keep me company if the owner allows. For walks and drop-in visits, my schedule is very flexible, which makes it easy for me to work around your pet’s routine and what works best for you. We know how much your pup means to you and how hard it can be to leave them in someone else’s care. We want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re not only being cared for, but genuinely loved while you’re away. I currently have a golden retriever and she’s my adventure buddy! I have a full time job but able to do visits starting after 2:30. In the summers I have Friday off. About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.

Available on the weekends beginning Friday and if your animal can be crated- weekdays are possible as well. Also open to holidays with enough notice I have a fenced backyard and live in a calm neighborhood with minimal traffic but plenty of walking trails to keep your pet active, have 2 children in the home who love animals too!
