“Daniela was fantastic! She watched my two springer spaniels over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. She kept me updated with plenty of pictures and videos of the pups having a great time with their new dog buddy Ranier. I couldn't have felt more confident that my dogs were being well cared for! Thank you Daniela! We'll definitely be back”

“Jen was an awesome sitter for our sweet Golden, Captain. She was welcoming and kind from the start and I could tell how much she loves her Labs and felt a kinship that Captain would be welcomed into the retriever pack! Although I was nervous because he hasn’t really been around kitties, he ended up doing fine and Jen assured me he adjusted well and she sent great updates and photos while we were away! I highly recommend Jen!”

“Heather was absolutely amazing with Biggie and Peaches! She made them feel at home. Also took time to accommodate to their schedule. Will definitely be calling her again for Biggie and Peaches.”

“Simply amazing! My Lana had a wonderful time with Jeanne that I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. The love and care Jeanne showed Lana is what any pet owner would want their fur baby to get…thank you SO much Jeanne!”

“Serena was absolutely incredible with my dog Oliver! He was instantly happy to meet her and her family at the meet great and had a wonderful weekend getting spoiled with lots of cuddles and walks everyday! Will absolutely be booking with Serena in the future!”

“Amy was AMAZING with my baby Blue. She listened to everything i asked her when it came to my baby, she catered to all of mine and Blues needs and definitely gave him the exercises he needed because he was TIRED when mom and dad picked him up. I will definitely be booking with Amy again and you should too! An awesome dog sitter and an even better person. Thank you, Amy!🩷”

“I am really happy I found Diana! She took our boarding on short notice as our sitter cancelled last minute and made my Rover experience easy. I was thrilled she had a fenced in yard and other dogs for my 2 year old lab mix Penny. He has some separation anxiety when mom and dad leave so I was thrilled he had other dogs to keep him company. She talked a good while with me first to understand Penny’s personality which I was grateful for. Every dog is so unique and has their own personalities it made me feel comfortable she knew what might scare him etc. He did come back with some minor scratches but nothing that wouldn’t have happened if we had taken him to the dog park. If we needed boarding again she would be my first choice every time. 10/10”

“Jennifer and her family were kind and welcoming -- very calm and easygoing. They sent great pictures of Rosie walking with their dog and Rosie hanging out with the crew -- she looked completely content. Rosie came home happy, well-rested and calm -- we were so fortunate to find them!”

I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. I live in a senior mobile home park and I have a fenced in yard. I make sure that animals are safe, fed watered, walked and get plenty of potty breaks. They will get lots of love. I keep the yard clear of poop so that their environment is healthy for them.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Jacksonville
Patricia is an amazing sitter. I came from WA, drove to Medford, then had to board my dog Blue while I flew to Phoenix, AZ and drove back to Medford with my Dad. Many things went wrong on the trip, but not once did I have to worry about Blue at all. Patricia sent me pictures and updates to let me know he was doing okay, but even without those, I knew she would take good care of him. You could tell she loved animals and was responsible. I can't thank her enough for the peace of mind she brought me. Thank you again Patricia!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
