She talked a good while with me first to understand Penny’s personality which I was grateful for. “Lexy was able to get close (physically) to my very shy calico cat during her first visit. I don't believe she was able to touch her but just getting within 2 feet sometimes takes a long time. Lexy is very gentle and takes her time which is very much needed. Of course food and water and clean-up was handled well. I recommend Lexy of course, just don't keep her busy when I need her- ha!”

But if they need to come to my place for sitting, I have a fenced yard with some agility equipment. I also have a dog door, to let them have free access to my .5 acre fenced yard. I do have a cat, so if your dog comes to my place, it will have to get along with her.

They have food, water, and plenty of toys and dog beds to have access to.

Grew up on a farm in Germany feeding cows, always have owned pets from cats, dogs, lizards, fish, rats etc. I’ve worked at dog training and boarding facilities called Sweet Doggies and CALIK9 in Sunnyvale, California for three+ years. About: I have several years of experience watching family and friends pets. I have a 4 year old golden doodle who is energetic, playful and loving. I also have an 11 year old Japanese bobtail cat named June. I work at a front desk 3 days a week. I am available mon, tues, thurs after 5pm and am available all day Wednesdays and Friday’s and weekends. I have a fenced yard and a friendly golden doodle to keep your dog company. I was thrilled she had a fenced in yard and other dogs for my 2 year old lab mix Penny. He has some separation anxiety when mom and dad leave so I was thrilled he had other dogs to keep him company. She talked a good while with me first to understand Penny’s personality which I was grateful for. Every dog is so unique and has their own personalities it made me feel comfortable she knew what might scare him etc. He did come back with some minor scratches but nothing that wouldn’t have happened if we had taken him to the dog park. About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.
