“It's kind of a big deal to leave your pet with a stranger. I am so happy to report that I now have a trusted person to give love to my dog when I have to go away for work. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. I missed my pup so Anika even texted pictures over the weekend when she took him for walks. I will happily use Anika again the next time I need day or night care for Baron! Definitely recommend.”
About: I’ve had animals my whole life, including both large dogs and cats. I previously worked in a veterinary clinic, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and care needs. I genuinely love getting outside for walks and hikes, and I’m happy to take your pup for a run if that’s their thing! My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a very open and flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I’m happy to accept boarders at any time. If your pup isn’t comfortable sharing space with my dog Lemon, she can go stay with her “grandma”during their visit. Visiting pets should be comfortable around my cat, Tart. I aim to keep things calm, predictable, and comfortable so pets feel at home. I own my own townhome unit which has a fully fenced back potty area. I bring my own dog out to a couple nearby parks multiple times a day for fun and exercise, and am happy to do the same for yous! I’m comfortable crating, and am happy to stick to any kind of medication schedule they require.
