Let me know any specific needs for your cat or home that I can tend to while you’re away! I’m comfortable gently brushing and trimming mats and I can even water plants, bring in mail, etc if needed!
A typical day
A typical 30 minute check in would look like: checking on the home, greeting the cat, changing out bowls for new water and food, changing litter, and companionship for the duration of the visit, like petting and playing or brushing. My favorite part about this job is getting to know a new furry friend each time!

Pet care experience
My goal as a sitter is to treat every cat like they were my own. I have been called a cat whisperer as I excel at making shy and nervous cats feel comfortable with my friendly yet calm demeanor. I enjoy building a unique relationship with every new cat I meet until they become like an old friend to me. I can assure you your cat will hold a special place in my heart 🐾

Mackie did a great job taking care of our cat while we were away. She made sure our cat was safe, eating well, and that her food and water bowls were always full. Although our cat is a bit shy and didn’t come out much, Mackie was still very attentive and thoughtful. She kept us updated with photos and reached out if she had any questions, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. I would definitely recommend her!

This was our first time using a drop-in pet sitter for our cat and it was a very positive experience. Mackie is very much a "cat person" and bonded with our cat right away. Receiving a daily close-up picture of our pet was very reassuring that he was being well cared for and also getting some "cuddle time". We would not hesitate to use Mackie's services again in the future.
