Our resident pets include: • Benny, our friendly German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, who enjoys meeting new dogs but understands that not every guest wants to play. • Cricket, our tiny 6-pound Chihuahua mix, who generally prefers to quietly observe from a distance. Every once in a while he'll decide another dog is his new best friend—and if that happens, they've definitely won the lottery! Because every pet is different, I supervise interactions closely and adjust the environment to help everyone feel comfortable. My goal is never to force interactions, but to create a positive, low-stress experience for every guest. For first-time boarding and daycare guests—particularly larger dogs or adolescent puppies—I may recommend a Meet & Greet beforehand to ensure my home is the best fit for everyone.

About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for many different dogs over the years. When I was 11, my family adopted a large Border Collie puppy, and I was very active in the responsibilities needed for a puppy with that much energy. Over time, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting because different dogs, especially by breed have different personalities and maintenances that are unique. I’m active and able to walk/do activities with dogs, but through experience not all dogs need that, and L’m excited to meet new pups! I’ve had significant experience with: collies, huskies, chihuahuas, rat terriers, labs, doodle mixes, and mixed recuse dogs! I work part time, but I am also a college student-athlete! In the summers and late spring my schedule is almost completely clear! In the school year I do not work, but I have certain times blocked off for practice. I am available by phone almost all hours of the day! Whether I am in my own home, a clients home, or the public, I only want to ensure that the animal I am with feels safe and all its needs are met. I want the pet to have a good time and feel comfortable with me. In terms of environment I think being neat and clean is very important for both the pet and myself. When mealtimes come, I make all my animals sit or wait patiently until the food is ready and I am not mean, but I do encourage good behavior at all times and try to get the pet to practice small trainings or commands when appropriate.

About: I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was a child and have regularly helped neighbors and family friends with their cats and dogs while they were away- even my friend's mice while they were traveling and my previous roommate's three rats. I'm home from college for the summer and would love to spend my time with your pets! I have a very flexible daily schedule that can adapt to the needs of your pet. My parents have two dogs, one of which is very loving but does not handle other dogs very well. Because of this, I'm not comfortable bringing pets back to my home, but I am very willing to come to your pets to take care of and spend time with them. I am available for shorter drop-in visits, with feeding, play time, and/or walks, as well as longer visits and overnight stays with your pet.

I would stay at families houses, walk, feed, and occasionally bathe dogs. I’ll play with the energetic ones all day :) during the summer i work at the outdoor program and the student rec center at SOU. my schedule is fairly flexible so i have lots of time for your pets! i typically make sure to drop in at least twice a day. bedtime visits are no problem! i provide care in your home since that’s where your pet is most comfortable! i’m very diligent about following daily schedules. if your pet has any specific needs, please let me know :)

I am now a full time house and pet sitter travelling around(by car) the continental US and Canada caring for other's beloved fur family.
