I’m currently working part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when I’m home. I have a high energy dog myself and I understand the needs of being able to keep your pup exercised and happy. If it suits the pet owner my dog is very friendly and loves tandom walks and hikes.

I have a fenced yard and my dog sleeps inside my house. My dog gets treated as a family member and gets walks daily. During the summer and spring months I enjoy outside activities like hikes and ball throws. I’m interested in building a solid relationship with both the dog and dog owner prior to house sittings.

I absolutely love all dogs. There’s never been a dog I met I didn’t like. Most dogs feel very welcomed and comfortable with me. With that said some of the things I’d like to know about your dog would be, is he/she leash trained, do they get along with other dogs, how are they with people and dogs around treats/food, what specific que’s should I watch for that are specific to your dogs characteristics, any other pertinent information that I may need to know to care for your dog the best.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both mentally and physically. My dog is a Siberdoodle so I’ve had to tire him both ways in order to keep his busy mind and active personality out of trouble. I have a ton of patience and understand dogs motives very well. A couple of my favorite places are local hikes in ashland hills, Talent and Ashland dog parks and local walks in the neighborhood.

I have been responsible for the care of my personal siberdoodle (very active and smart husky doodle!) for 13 years. Prior to I have always grown up with a family dog and I have always loved dogs and can give most animals a good read. Throughout my adult life I have helped watch friends dogs and have taken them on walks and hikes when needed. I have house sit for friends in the past on few occasions. There’s never been a dog I’ve met and haven’t loved instantly and most dogs and animals feel calm and comfortable in my presence. I have been using the rover app for 5 years now (first appointment booked in 2021) and am pretty versed in all the apps quirks. I’m available a few hours each day to help care for, walk and visit your pet. I am available most days for a couple hours everyday. I work from home as a sales rep & my schedule is flexible. I take care for my clients pets as I care for my own. My dog is thought of as a family member and he truly is treated as such. Whatever care my client needs for their pet I am available for. A couple things about my skill set and animals I can care for. I have experience not only with dogs but also with chickens, goats, cats, fish & special needs/elderly dog care. Recently my dog has been diagnosed with Diabetes so if your dog may need an insulin dose I can help with that too! I have some experience with administering medication pills to animals as instructed as well as eye drops and other pet care specialty needs.
