“Brandy S went above and beyond to take care of our cat, Freddie. When we got home Freddie was calm and happy. To be honest he is usually aggravated with us for leaving him. Not this time! Thanks Brandy!”

“I reached out to Dora last minute, and she was absolutely amazing! Despite encountering some trouble with the lock on my house during her first visit, she never gave up. Thanks to her fantastic care, my 11-year-old bulldog, Noelle, is feeling happy and content. I am incredibly grateful for Dora's last-minute help!”

“Lexy did a great job looking out for our cats while we were away. They kitties were happy and well taken care of when we got back. We would be happy to have Lexy back anytime to watch our pets! Thank you!”

“Heidi was great! We have a rambunctious over excitable Australian Shepherd, a cat and a kitten who all loved her! She was great with communication, taking amazing care and pictures of our fur babies, and really cares a lot for them. Definitely recommend and will be requesting again! Thanks Heidi!”

“Kristen did an amazing job caring for our cat twice a day for two weeks, including administering multiple medications! She was dependable and thoughtful. She reached out to us with any questions or concerns she had before and during our trip. She sent photos from every visit. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our cat was safe with her. I would absolutely book her again in the future!”

About: I have years of experience caring for pets, including my own animals and those of neighbors and friends. I genuinely love all types of animals and enjoy feeding, playing, or going on walks with them. I just got my own kitty about a year ago, since I am in Ashland for school and basketball, but I have a dog, two cats, and a chicken back in my hometown! I’m very comfortable with both cats and dogs, so I would love the opportunity to help take care of your pets or walk your dogs and make sure they’re happy and well cared for! I currently attend SOU as a student and women's basketball player, so I have classes throughout the week, as well as a few basketball practices/workouts. It is our off-season, however, so my basketball load is pretty light and I would most likely be gone for only 2 1/2 hours max during a few days of the week. I have a kitty who I take very good care of and love to death, so there would be no problem with your pets! I love going for walks throughout the day, so I would love to take your dog for a walk as well! I live in a clean, cozy apartment that my own cat loves. I would follow your cat’s usual routine and make sure they feel calm and cared for. I would give them all the love and attention that they need so that you feel comfortable leaving them with me:) I also live in a safe, outdoorsy neighborhood that’s great for dog walking, but I love to walk dogs anywhere. I always keep dogs on a leash and pay close attention to our surroundings to make sure they stay safe and comfortable as well!
“Chelsey is a great sitter! My cat was happy and comfortable with her and she sent many photos that gave me peace of mind during my first Rover experience. Would definitely trust Chelsey to watch my cat again!”

“Got back in town from a week long trip to find a couple happy dogs and clean house. I'm so thankful for Ali taking care of my babies. Always was on time always got picture updates I didn't worry about them as much because of it. Highly recommend booking with him. Super nice guy, will be hiring him again! Thanks Ali!”

About: i've been dog-sitting for 4 years now, I have worked at many houses in the San Jose area in California. I have done cat-sitting for my neighbors and dog walking in Ashland. I am free to work many hours and I would love to take care of your pets! I am in grad school at SOU through June of 2027, and I will be student teaching for much of it. I am available for more hours in the afternoons once school is out and before classes begin. Classes for me are only twice a week, and I will make sure to fit in a walk before it gets dark. My home has one cat, and I grew up with a dog, so I know how to take care of both of these animals. I always lock the door before leaving the house, and I check to make sure I know where my animals are at all times when I am home. I am comfortable feeding pets, giving them water, and giving them medicine if needed. I also know how much quality time means to pets, so I can spend extra time with pets after walks.

Today, I combine decades of hands on experience with holistic healing tools to offer truly unique, heart centered pet care in Ashland and other parts of the Rogue Valley. That is why I build my care around calm energy, predictable routines, and constant companionship. If I need to step out and you have approved it, I will bring your dog with me. Otherwise, I will never leave them alone for longer than three hours. I am also a Reiki Master and Emotion Code Practitioner which means I do not just care for pets physically, I also support their emotional and energetic well being. I often provide gentle Reiki sessions to dogs during my stays, helping them release anxiety and find balance. I live one block from a dog park (Colver Dog Park) with separate areas for large and small dogs, which is a wonderful option for pups who like to socialize or run. If your pet prefers a quieter routine, we will enjoy walks around the neighborhood, indoor play, energy healing sessions, and relaxed time together inside. My focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and predictable environment so pets feel secure. Your pup is my priority. I give them the same love and attention I would my own, so they feel loved and safe while you are away.
About: I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was a child and have regularly helped neighbors and family friends with their cats and dogs while they were away- even my friend's mice while they were traveling and my previous roommate's three rats. I'm home from college for the summer and would love to spend my time with your pets! I have a very flexible daily schedule that can adapt to the needs of your pet. My parents have two dogs, one of which is very loving but does not handle other dogs very well. Because of this, I'm not comfortable bringing pets back to my home, but I am very willing to come to your pets to take care of and spend time with them. I am available for shorter drop-in visits, with feeding, play time, and/or walks, as well as longer visits and overnight stays with your pet.
About: Whether I'm caring for your pets on or off the clock as a veterinary assistant my care and passion for animals shines through ! I love getting to know each pet and their unique personalities that make them, them ! I would be more than able to provide the care needed for overnight stays and daily drop in visits. Please feel free to reach out and set up a meet and greet. The health, safety, and well being of your pet will be my main priority . I also like to prioritize their comfort and fun to ease your time away.
“It is such a relief to know that there’s someone I can totally rely on to take care of my cats while I’m gone. Kelsey did a great job with all instructions, communication, and keeping my babies safe.”

About: I have over 14 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My background includes lifelong pet ownership, kennel work, veterinary shadowing, and professional pet sitting through Rover. I am comfortable caring for energetic puppies, senior pets, dogs requiring medications (including oral and injectable medications), and pets with special routines or needs. My goal is to provide a calm, structured home where every pet feels safe and comfortable. I understand that every dog is different—some love to play, while others simply want a quiet place to relax. I tailor each stay to your pet's personality, energy level, and routine whenever possible. Safety is one of my highest priorities. I carefully supervise introductions, monitor body language and stress signals, and use separate spaces, baby gates, and crates (when appropriate or requested) to ensure every pet has a positive experience. I believe thoughtful planning and honest communication create the best boarding experience for both pets and their owners. My husband Andrew and I work together to provide attentive care, which means there are two experienced adults available for walks, playtime, supervised introductions, potty breaks, medication administration, and lots of affection. I don't believe every dog is the right fit for every environment—and that's okay. My goal is to ensure every booking is the right fit so every pet can have the safest, happiest, and least stressful experience possible. Whether your pet is staying overnight, spending the day while you're exploring Southern Oregon, or simply needs a safe place to relax while you're out to dinner or attending an event, I strive to treat every guest like a member of our own family. Every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to maintain it while they're in my care. Whether your pet enjoys active play, leisurely walks, or simply lounging nearby, I tailor each day to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work part-time outside the home, but my schedule is intentionally arranged around pet care. Throughout the day, your pet will receive regular potty breaks, supervised playtime, enrichment, exercise, plenty of affection, and opportunities to rest. I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is doing well. Your pet's safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I provide care in a calm, home environment with a fully fenced backyard, baby gates for flexible separation when needed, and thoughtful introductions between dogs. I believe every pet deserves an environment that matches their personality. Some dogs enjoy having a playmate, while others are happiest relaxing on their own—and that's perfectly okay. Our resident pets include: • Benny, our friendly German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, who enjoys meeting new dogs but understands that not every guest wants to play. • Cricket, our tiny 6-pound Chihuahua mix, who generally prefers to quietly observe from a distance. Every once in a while he'll decide another dog is his new best friend—and if that happens, they've definitely won the lottery! Because every pet is different, I supervise interactions closely and adjust the environment to help everyone feel comfortable. My goal is never to force interactions, but to create a positive, low-stress experience for every guest. For first-time boarding and daycare guests—particularly larger dogs or adolescent puppies—I may recommend a Meet & Greet beforehand to ensure my home is the best fit for everyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
