If wanted by clients, dogs are regularly walked and exercised (I’m a hiker so am happy to take them to do outdoor hikes as well) along with regular care as if their parents never even left. I try to keep a relatively realistic schedule and life for animals while parents are gone so that they don’t have much stress when parents are away.
