About: Hi! Thanks for considering me to care for your pets. I’ve been pet sitting around the Rogue Valley for a little over seven years. I’ve cared for dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and routines, from easygoing pets who mostly want company to animals who need medications, frequent potty breaks, walks, or a little more patience. I’m very laid-back, but I take the responsibility seriously. I follow the routine you leave for me, keep you updated with pictures, and try to make things feel as normal as possible for your pets while you’re gone. I also treat your home with the same respect I’d want someone to show mine. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I’ve owned and cared for animals of all types ranging from reptiles to large livestock. I have experience training puppies as well as working on smaller things like simple manners and attentiveness. I’ve have past job history working at a vet based boarding facility and am comfortable and knowledgeable on give meds and handling dogs when away from their people. I am available for drop in visits and dog walking 7 days a week! Monday through Friday I am available after 1pm, weekends I’m open all day for your furry friends! I treat all clients animals as if they were my own. They are cared for very well while clients are gone away from the home. Lots of love, play time, and just hanging out. If wanted by clients, dogs are regularly walked and exercised (I’m a hiker so am happy to take them to do outdoor hikes as well) along with regular care as if their parents never even left. I try to keep a relatively realistic schedule and life for animals while parents are gone so that they don’t have much stress when parents are away.

As long as you schedule with me 2 days ahead of time I’m available whenever you need weekends and weekdays! early mornings, late nights or overnight. I understand it is vulnerable letting a stranger in your home however I make sure security and safety are my top priorities. I am able to feed your pet, take them for a walk, give them medication, clean them (or clean up after them), play with them, or just keep them company. About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. I’m also available to do overnights if needed :) I do have a fenced in yard where I can supervise your pet. I currently have no personal pets of my own. I love to maintain their schedule as I know it could be hard for your pet to be in a new environment.

About: We had a family dog from the time I was a toddler. The first dog was a Doberman, then the next family dog was a Springer Spaniel. My family also volunteered as puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and we raised 5 guide dog puppies. One flunked out of guide dog school and came back to live with us until she was 13. Later, I volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and helped puppy raisers with their new puppies, and weekly helped teach the classes from 12 weeks when the puppies first arrive to their puppy raiser homes, up to 18 months when they leave their puppy raisers the puppies get trained before they go back in for their formal under harness training for their blind person. All 9 years of work there we used positive reinforcement with the dogs and helped the puppy raisers. I also attended some classes with Guiding Eyes on dog body language. I also have my own rescue dog who I adopted during that time and he has had positive reinforcement training since I adopted him. I now assist owners with training or behavioral needs they may have for their dogs to make the owners and the dogs happier and more peaceful living. I also have added a list of other services, from boarding in my home, to house sitting in yours, dog walking, drop in visits, or daycare in my house. I am working from home and available basically all the time, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and over weekends as well. Days: M, T, W, T, F, S, S I don’t have kids or cats. Just me and my one 10 year old personal dog are in the house. I live in a condo and don’t have a backyard, but I have always walked my dog in the neighborhood and gone to hike at Lake Chabot which is only a 12 minute drive or at Oakland hills parks.
