This is the second time Lexy has helped us out with our dog Franco while out of town. Franco is a difficult dog to deal with because he is reactive due to fear. Lexy has been able to successfully get him to calm down and trust her to tend to his needs. We are very grateful!

About: Hey there! :o) My name is Laura and I love animals! Have always had a big heart for them!! I've pet sat for 13 years and the longest I've had a sitting job has been two weeks, staying at my client's home. I'm originally from Los Angeles and have lived in the Rogue Valley for the last four years. I'm trying to connect and grow my clientele here. I'm a very nurturing person and love to give your pets love and attention they deserve! I'm a very compassionate person, who you can trust and depend on while I'm sitting, and I don't drink or smoke! I love to go outside with the dogs/cats and play with them! While I'm sitting, I do work my full-time job, during the school calendar year, as a special education assistant. I do travel too, but not all that much. Usually in the summer, Veteran's Day weekend, and Christmas/New Years. Please contact me if you would like to get to know me more, meet, or have any other questions! Would love to meet and dedicate my time to your pet(s)! Thank You! I work in education at a school, Monday through Friday, and will come right home to your pets. I leave the house at 7:30 am and get back home, no later than 4:30pm. On the weekends, when sitting, I will stay in with your pets 90 percent of the time, hanging out with them at keeping them company. I love having the pets getting to know me, so I take my time with them, letting them direct. Once, I feel they're comfortable, I give them lots of love.

About: I have 3 cats, but I care deeply about all animals. My life’s calling is to care for animals which is why I finally decided to proceed with vet tech schooling. My whole life I have taken care of dogs and cats and have loved every moment of it. Caring for my pets is the best and most satisfying part of my day. After working with tech in Geek Squad for 2 and a half years, I spent a lot of time thinking about what I want to do in life. I always knew my calling was to care for animals which is why I am in the process of starting vet tech schooling and looking for a job outside of tech working as a vet assistant. I promise to always provide the best care you could ask for when caring for your pets. If your animals need to come to my house I do have a big fenced in yard that they can play in and I welcome all animals in all rooms of my house and they are allowed to be on furniture. Because of how much I care for animals you will never have to worry about your pet being left alone or missing a meal.

I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. Kristen did an amazing job caring for our cat twice a day for two weeks, including administering multiple medications! She was dependable and thoughtful. She reached out to us with any questions or concerns she had before and during our trip. She sent photos from every visit. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our cat was safe with her. I would absolutely book her again in the future!

About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to consider me as a potential pet sitter for you and your fur babies. I’ve been pet sitting around the Rogue Valley for over six years, and some families have trusted me with their pets for nearly ten. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, including pets with medications and more detailed routines. I’m dependable, easygoing, and respectful of both your pets and your home. I follow instructions closely, send plenty of pictures and updates, and do my best to keep everything feeling normal and comfortable while you’re away. I’m excited to meet new clients for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays! 🐾 My schedule is currently pretty flexible, especially for daytime drop-ins, dog walks, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays. I’m opening my profile back up to new clients, so feel free to reach out with your dates and your pet’s routine. I’m usually able to work something out. I know every pet reacts differently when their person is away, so I bring a calm, patient energy and let them settle in at their own pace. I follow your instructions closely when it comes to meals, walks, medications, bedtime routines, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I also treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show mine. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you know how everything is going while you’re away.

About: Ever since I can remember Ive always been around dogs and cats and tons of other animals! I’ve grown up on farms and so I am so used to animals, it’s become my life! I have a ton of energy and love to give. I’ve watched tons of family members animals and always put them first! I can walk, exercise, feed and water the dogs if needed. I have volunteered at the humane society for a while so I learned a lot there too. With working full time and going to school my availability is mostly the weekends, BUT when I take time off of school that may change:) When I am at someone’s home and they are trusting me with their babies, I try to make sure to take the best steps to keep them safe. If they need a leash I can do that, if there are any safety issues told to me I will take them seriously. Safety #1 then FUN!

I can't thank Alex enough for her care of my nervous and sometimes intimidating dog during her recent check-in. Alex is patient and dedicated, and made sure Chubbs felt comfortable and well taken care of. She's trustworthy and reliable, and I felt really good about her helping out while I was away. It's clear that she has a natural affinity for animals, her relaxed demeanor around Chubbs is so comforting. If you are reluctant, trust me, hire Alex, you won’t be disappointed.

About: Look, anyone can watch a pet. My thing? I actually listen. Seriously. My superpower is picking up on what animals are trying to tell me—be it a happy purr, a 'back off' bark, or a goat's casual bleat for attention. Being a digital nomad means my schedule is entirely my own, so I can truly be present and adapt to their needs, not some rigid clock. Playtime? Cuddles? Or just needing space? I read the room (or yard, or barn). I've got hands-on experience with everything from puppies to pigs, so your critters are always in genuinely attuned hands. This isn't just some gig; it's about making a real connection, deeply. As a digital nomad, my work goes where I go, and my schedule is completely my own. That means no rushing off to an office, no rigid 9-to-5, and definitely no 'squeezing in' pet time. I build my day around the animals I'm caring for. If a dog needs an extra walk, or a cat wants a sudden play session When I'm caring for your pets, my absolute focus is on maintaining their normal routine and comfort right there in their own space. I'm not just showing up to feed and split; I'm integrating into their lives. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, managing medications if needed, and keeping their environment exactly how you left it—clean, familiar, and totally stress-free. Here's the deal: as a digital nomad, my work goes where I go, and my schedule is completely my own. That translates directly into true presence for your pets. If I'm house sitting for you, your animals essentially become my co-workers. That means spontaneous play sessions, consistent outdoor time, and me being fully available. You'll get regular updates so you're never left wondering. Ultimately, it comes down to being attuned to their unique needs and ensuring they feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as they do with you, without ever having to leave their familiar surroundings.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Eagle Point stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eagle Point. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
