About: Hi there! I am a local pet sitter dedicated to full-time pet care across Jackson County. I treat pet sitting as a real business, which means my clients get complete reliability and absolute professionalism. I have flexible availability 7 days a week. Your pets will never be left alone for hours on end; they will have my undivided attention, companionship, and care. Having grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, I am highly experienced in maintaining strict feeding schedules, tracking bathroom routines, and providing proper exercise. I specialize in overnight house sitting, keeping your pets stress-free in their normal home environment while you travel. Expect daily photo updates, excellent communication, and total peace of mind! I have completely open, 24/7 availability every single day of the week, Monday through Sunday. My primary operational windows are perfectly set up for busy schedules: Anytime during early morning and from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (ideal for mid-day dog walks and lunchtime potty breaks while you are at work) and from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (perfect for evening drop-ins, dinner feedings, and overnight house sitting.) Because pet care is my full-time focus, I am highly flexible, accommodate last-minute bookings easily, and will always be there exactly when your pet needs me. Your pet’s safety and the security of your home are my absolute highest priorities. About: I have been house sitting for coworkers and family since I was 15 years old, and I adore it! I love all types of pets, and have taken care of both cats and dogs. I also raised a 10 week old puppy who is 5 years old now, and he’s very well behaved with no bad behaviors. I am a full time university student, but when spending time taking care of someone’s pet, I do take care to disclose my class schedule. I would do best for pets that are okay being alone for 5-7 hours at a time, as I have some back-to-back classes that I can’t miss. I am very passionate about animals and I love spending quality time with dogs and cats, so when I am with the pets I will be able to give them undivided attention. When in a clients home, I take great care in making sure that the pet stays safe and in no trouble. I make sure that any outside access is monitored and/or closed off to being able to escape or get into danger. I also stay mindful about not leaving things out for a potential animal to get into, and when I am home with your furry friend, I do everything I can to keep my eyes on them!

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. I’m also available to do overnights if needed :) I do have a fenced in yard where I can supervise your pet. I currently have no personal pets of my own. I love to maintain their schedule as I know it could be hard for your pet to be in a new environment.

About: We had a family dog from the time I was a toddler. The first dog was a Doberman, then the next family dog was a Springer Spaniel. My family also volunteered as puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and we raised 5 guide dog puppies. One flunked out of guide dog school and came back to live with us until she was 13. Later, I volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and helped puppy raisers with their new puppies, and weekly helped teach the classes from 12 weeks when the puppies first arrive to their puppy raiser homes, up to 18 months when they leave their puppy raisers the puppies get trained before they go back in for their formal under harness training for their blind person. All 9 years of work there we used positive reinforcement with the dogs and helped the puppy raisers. I also attended some classes with Guiding Eyes on dog body language. I also have my own rescue dog who I adopted during that time and he has had positive reinforcement training since I adopted him. I now assist owners with training or behavioral needs they may have for their dogs to make the owners and the dogs happier and more peaceful living. I also have added a list of other services, from boarding in my home, to house sitting in yours, dog walking, drop in visits, or daycare in my house. I am working from home and available basically all the time, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and over weekends as well. Days: M, T, W, T, F, S, S I don’t have kids or cats. Just me and my one 10 year old personal dog are in the house. I live in a condo and don’t have a backyard, but I have always walked my dog in the neighborhood and gone to hike at Lake Chabot which is only a 12 minute drive or at Oakland hills parks.

About: My name is Alex and I couldn't be more excited to work with you and your pets! I have an extensive background pet sitting and my love for animals has always been the most exciting part about the job. I work with a variety of animals, including horses. Since I could remember, I've watched pets for friends and family whenever they went out of town or needed extra help. My love for this job began back then and has continued to be an ongoing part of my life. I love helping animals and strongly believe that they deserve nothing but quality care. I'd love to help you and your family with your pets through drop-in visits and walking services, so you never have to worry about them when you're away from home! I'm a new college graduate, and have a lot more free time to focus on my pet care business. Most of my afternoons are open! For drop-in visits, I arrive and stay for the duration of the visit and do the duties that the clients need, whether if that's letting the pets outside, feeding them, and/or hanging out and playing with them, etc.

Angelica is a great find! She helped us out over the Christmas holiday and her rates are very reasonable. We feel so lucky we found her! She took great care of our two older dogs and our spunky younger poodle mix. She even remembered to put food out for our shy, skittish kitty. ? Thanks, Angelica! Hope to have your help again sometime soon.

About: I've spent a lot of time around animals and truly enjoy caring for them! My brother has three very different dogs—a Bernedoodle, a Chihuahua mix, and a German Shepherd—so I’ve gotten hands-on experience with a wide range of sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether it’s a few hours or a few days, I’ve helped care for them with everything from walks and playtime to feedings and snuggles. I also have an orange cat at home, so I'm very comfortable with feline friends too! I'm patient, gentle, and know how to read pet behavior to make sure they're feeling safe and happy. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or a senior in need of slower care, I’ll treat them like my own. I don’t have a fixed work schedule, which gives me a lot of flexibility! My availability just depends on current bookings, so feel free to reach out—I’m often able to accommodate last-minute or custom requests. I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs and find a time that works best for both of us. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so they feel secure and cared for. I’m respectful of your home and make sure your pet has everything they need—from fresh water and meals to playtime and cuddles. I keep a close eye on behavior and energy levels to make sure pets stay safe and happy, and I’m always happy to provide updates so you feel at ease while you’re away. My own orange cat has taught me how important a calm, loving environment is, and I bring that same energy to every pet I care for.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
