About: Cats are my FAVORITE animal! (most recent cat in photo) I was allowed by my family to rescue and adopt a cat when I was 5. She was a longhaired cat. She was shy, nervous but so sweet and taught me how patience is important to get cats to trust. After that, I rescued another shorthair cat and was gifted a siamese cat for my recent birthday. These cats are my everything and I love and enjoy caring for all cats! I’ve pet sat for cats of all different ages and fur length, even hairless ones! About: i've been dog-sitting for 4 years now, I have worked at many houses in the San Jose area in California. I have done cat-sitting for my neighbors and dog walking in Ashland. I am free to work many hours and I would love to take care of your pets! I am in grad school at SOU through June of 2027, and I will be student teaching for much of it. I am available for more hours in the afternoons once school is out and before classes begin. Classes for me are only twice a week, and I will make sure to fit in a walk before it gets dark. My home has one cat, and I grew up with a dog, so I know how to take care of both of these animals. I always lock the door before leaving the house, and I check to make sure I know where my animals are at all times when I am home. About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.
“Laura was absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Gordy! It’s never easy leaving our dog with someone new, but she made us feel completely at ease from the start. She is kind, communicative and is clearly super good with animals! She took Gordy to the dog park and let him play and get some energy out!
