“Madi is very friendly, personable and professional. Being new to the area and leaving our 2 anxious cats for the first time, Madi was patient to coax them out of hiding, feed and and care for them during her twice daily visits. She gave us detailed updates and pictures which helped ease our worries. We will definitely hire her again with confidence that our pets will be in her caring hands!”

About: Ever since I can remember Ive always been around dogs and cats and tons of other animals! I’ve grown up on farms and so I am so used to animals, it’s become my life! I have a ton of energy and love to give. I’ve watched tons of family members animals and always put them first! I can walk, exercise, feed and water the dogs if needed. I have volunteered at the humane society for a while so I learned a lot there too. With working full time and going to school my availability is mostly the weekends, BUT when I take time off of school that may change:) When I am at someone’s home and they are trusting me with their babies, I try to make sure to take the best steps to keep them safe. If they need a leash I can do that, if there are any safety issues told to me I will take them seriously. Safety #1 then FUN!
About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. I live in a senior mobile home park and I have a fenced in yard. I make sure that animals are safe, fed watered, walked and get plenty of potty breaks. They will get lots of love. I keep the yard clear of poop so that their environment is healthy for them.
“Gabby is amazing! My kitties can be timid, but they warmed up to her immediately, even during the Meet & Greet! She took such good care of our home and cats while we were gone. I highly recommend her services! I will absolutely be using her again in the future 😊 Thanks Gabby!”

“Louis was very professional and incredibly easy to work with. Our cats and tortoise were well cared for. Louis communicated clearly with us while we were gone, and even caught an error I made in the booking times. He obviously has an eye for detail and cares about the pets he watches. Thank you, Louis! We will definitely reach out again to book in the future!”

About: Hi! My name is Stella, and I’m a student at the University of Oregon interning in Medford for the summer. I’m looking for dog walking and cat or dog sitting opportunities to stay busy while I’m away from my own pets this summer. I have experience caring for cats of all ages, senior dogs, dog walking, and managing households with multiple animals. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, surfing, trying new restaurants and cafés, and reading. Pet care fits well into my routine alongside my full-time Monday through Friday 8–5 schedule. I’m available before and after work for walks, feeding, and check-ins, with full availability on weekends for more flexible care. I prioritize creating a safe and trustworthy environment for every pet in my care. In clients’ homes, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency. I ensure pets receive plenty of attention and supervision while keeping their environment clean. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, cared for, and as stress-free as possible while their owners are away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
