Alicia was so wonderful caring for our puppy while we were visiting the area. Thankful for the care and attention she gave our baby. And the pictures she sent were a great touch.

Incredibly happy with my dogs stay here for dog daycare. I can tell she was well taken care of, and got a lot of exercise and stimulation. She came home tired and happy! I love that they have a very large fenced in yard for my dog to play in and get exercise. I will happily have Garrett and his partner watch my dog again.

It’s like a summer camp for pups! We were in the area for a rafting trip and couldn’t take her with us. We found Dorothea and Richard who had high ratings. We took a bit of a driving adventure to Rogue City area and found their expansive property at the top of a hill of so many acres where the pups do long hikes, play, and get thoughtful care. We had never left our puppy (8 mo) with someone. She was nervous when we left and we came back to find a relaxed, tired, happy pup who seemed to have the time of her life. We appreciated the videos we got throughout the day and how welcomed we and Sky felt. Professional with paperwork and offer to tour property. Thank you Dorothea!

About: Hi! I’m Allyse I’m a responsible, animal-loving sitter who genuinely enjoys caring for dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m naturally calm, organized, and attentive to details — which means your pup gets consistent routines, timely meals, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I’m great at following instructions and happy to stick closely to your dog’s normal schedule, whether that includes medications, special feeding needs, or just extra cuddle time. I treat every dog like my own and always prioritize safety, clear communication, and peace of mind for pet parents. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. Whether you’re looking for short-term care or a regular sitter, I’d love to help care for your furry family member! I work from home so I am available all day. If I need to step out your dog will only be left alone for two hours max. I have a fully fenced in yard. Plenty of room to run and play! We live in a house so there is also room inside where the dogs can play as well.

What a wonderful experience! Ruth really goes above and beyond. I couldn't be more pleased. She made sure to ask many questions and wanted to reinforce my pups training as a service dog by using the same words and hands signals I do at home. She kept me updated and sent pictures of him running with her sweet girl doggos and sitting happily at her feet. He was clearly happy and comfortable at her home. He was also asleep before we got home! My heart is so happy to have found this gem. I'm so impressed with Ruth's care that I'm going to book regular daycare visits for my guy to go there and have fun with his new friends even if I don't have any appointments! I honestly can't say enough about her. Totally blessed.

About: I recently had two rescue heeler mixes. We competed in agility, and did herding, barn hunt, and parkour. I loved to hike, walk, run, and be active with my dogs. Now that they're gone, I have an open space in my heart for time with yours. I walk and run or hike several days out of the week. I'd love to bring your well-behaved dog along for their enjoyment and my company! Because I live up a steep gravel driveway, I prefer to meet in town or at your place to take your dog for a walk or run. But if they need to come to my place for sitting, I have a fenced yard with some agility equipment. I also have a dog door, to let them have free access to my .5 acre fenced yard. I do have a cat, so if your dog comes to my place, it will have to get along with her.

About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. I am a senior and I am retired. Recently my fur babies passed away and I am looking to supplement my income while caring for people's pets. I really miss having animals in my home. I live in a senior mobile home park and I have a fenced in yard. I make sure that animals are safe, fed watered, walked and get plenty of potty breaks. They will get lots of love. I keep the yard clear of poop so that their environment is healthy for them.

Anika is great! She took excellent care of my dog Bear, who can have a little separation anxiety. She is a good communicator and sent lots of pictures during the day. Bear obviously had a great time playing with the other dogs and came home happy and exhausted from playing in her beautiful big yard. Anika just has a great way with all the dogs. You can tell she loves and cares for them like they are her own.

Kaelin was amazing with our 10 week puppy Midnight!! Midnight is shy around new people but warmed up to Kaelin quickly and had the best time playing and hanging out with her all day, I know that we’ll be booking her again as soon as we can especially since she sent pictures and updates to us that really helped our anxiety with leaving her for the first time!!

I am so happy with the top-notch care G&G provided for my pup while I attended a wedding! They were exceptionally friendly and warm and I really appreciated how they took the time to do a virtual meet & greet since I was coming from out of town. They were flexible with drop-off time which was a huge help, and it was so great to get to meet their friendly dog and cats. My dog looked like she had a great time! She got to play with toys, have treats, hang out in the fenced yard, and go for a nice walk. G&G took amazing photos and provided many updates, as I had requested. I HIGHLY recommend these folks and will definitely use them whenever I am in the area again!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Grants Pass commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 75 sitters in Grants Pass, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
