About: I’ve had cats and dogs for the past 30 plus years. I’ve walked them, bathed them, made their food, cared for them when sick and loved them. I have a lovely, safe walking neighborhood for dogs, a fenced yard, and everything I would need for a dog to have a cozy stay with me. I currently work 100% remote and have time during the day for walks and playtime. I have dog beds for nap time and toys for them to play with. I also own several leashes. I have a fenced yard that’s very safe. I don’t plan on watching more than one dog at a time. That way I can devote all my time to the one who’s staying with me.

About: I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable dog sitter who treats every dog like part of the family. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and companionship. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Weekends are my best days to provide the most care. I do work a part time job and will be able get back to your pup in the afternoon. I like to do walks in the morning before work and if they are dogs that like a good walk id like to bring them. I have a large fenced home where your dog can run, play and even dip in a kiddie doggy pool. I do have 2 dogs at home that are extremely friendly and would love to have play dates.

About: Growing up, I was always the one my neighbors and family trusted with their pets, and that genuine love for animals has stayed with me my entire life. Now, as a professional pet sitter, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and many other companions. From managing complex feeding schedules to providing extra snuggles for nervous pets, I treat every animal in my care like a member of my own family. I would be honored to provide that same peace of mind for you. My availability varies depending on my work schedule as a commercial framer. My lighter season runs from September to December, offering more flexibility for full days during the week. The busy season restricts my availability to weekday evenings and weekends, though I may have more time if I'm staying at you're pets home. I prioritize clear communication and consistency, providing regular updates with photos and notes so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. You can trust that I will be reliable, follow all instructions precisely, and have an emergency plan in place for any unexpected situations. In short, I offer more than just basic feeding and walking. I provide a true companion experience built on responsibility, empathy, and your pet's happiness.

About: Having a dog all of my life while growing up, I really enjoy their companionship. Taking them out for walks at least twice a day for 30 minutes or more is what they need. I'm familiar with senior dogs as well. As my dog aged, I administered medications as needed so, I'm okay with administering meds. Senior dogs sometimes need a little more care and more frequent pee breaks that I'm used to. Being a retiree and empty nester, I have a flexible schedule and lots of time on my hands. This will give me the opportunity to really do what makes my heart sing! Currently, I have a cat that I rescued. I trapped, neutered and spayed him and his 3 siblings and mother. I domesticated them and found them homes. I keep my cat indoors now to keep him safe. He has plenty of toys, playtime with mom, treats and sunny windows to sit in to watch the neighbors! He is king & knows it! I love sitting and giving undivided attention to my animals and animals in my care.

About: Hi! Thanks for considering me to care for your pets. I’ve been pet sitting around the Rogue Valley for a little over seven years. I’ve cared for dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and routines, from easygoing pets who mostly want company to animals who need medications, frequent potty breaks, walks, or a little more patience. I’m very laid-back, but I take the responsibility seriously. I follow the routine you leave for me, keep you updated with pictures, and try to make things feel as normal as possible for your pets while you’re gone. I also treat your home with the same respect I’d want someone to show mine. I’m happy to help with walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and I’m always glad to meet new pets and their people. 🐾 My schedule is currently pretty flexible, especially for daytime drop-ins, dog walks, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays. I’m opening my profile back up to new clients, so feel free to reach out with your dates and your pet’s routine. I’m usually able to work something out. I know every pet reacts differently when their family is away, so I bring a calm, patient energy and let them settle in at their own pace. I follow your instructions closely when it comes to meals, walks, medications, bedtime routines, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I also treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show mine. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you know how everything is going while you’re away.

About: Hello! I have taken care of dogs, cats, and various other animals for over 20 years. I have worked with many dogs with teaching basic manners and cues. I love all animals and am happy to help in any way that I can. :) I work full time Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm. My office is less than 1 mile from work so I easily come home for my lunch break to tend to the animals. Outside of work, I am mostly home and prefer to spend time with the animals. I am happy to handwalk dogs, play fetch, and work on training skills if requested. I am flexible with requests :) I work full time Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm and work less than 1 mile from home so easily come home on my lunch break to tend to animals. I also have weekends off so your pup won’t be home alone often. 😊 I have both a smaller and larger fenced area for the dogs to play. I like to take the pups on walks via leash if the owner is comfortable, and turn them out in the yards to run while being supervised. I have a 75lb 3 ur old pup that gets along very well with all other dogs!

About: I have done pet sitting for over 5 years which include boarding, housesitting and dog walking. I have also cared for cats, chickens, exotic birds and baby goats (bottle fed). I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. So they would get plenty of potty breaks, love and attention while you are away. I will care for you pet(s) per your instructions. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!

  • 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
