About: Everyone thinks they have the best dog in the world, and everyone is right! Undergrad student, animal lover, photographer and creative. (I can take the most beautiful portraits of your love!) I’ve grown up with a Doberman, Dachschund, Shih Tzu and currently stay with my baby German Shepherd, Teddy. Whether it’s a big dogs with gentle attitudes or small dogs with fierce ones, I have the heart for it. I’m from the Philippines, where I’ve worked to rescue street dogs and ensure a shelter where they’re properly fed. When I’m in, I read, watch a movie, work on my cameras or paintings. When I’m out, I love to hike, run, or simply mindfully walk - and there’s no harm doing all of that with a buddy.

About: I've been living with pets since I was a baby and since then have taken on a large role in their care. I love going on walks and taking pups to experience the outside world. I've been petsitting for family, friends and neighbors for about 8 years now and I'm so excited to meet your furry friends! I just completed high school and this summer I am going to take a community college class which is on mondays and wednesdays from 1:30-5:45pm. Other than that I am free to spend time with your pets! About: I love dogs! I have experience caring for large or small dogs, high energy and low. I have previously cared for a senior dog, as well as a blind/deaf dog. I have cared for dogs with behavioral concerns around other dogs and people, and reactive dogs. Because of these experiences I am highly attentive to animals around me! I am currently working part-time on weekends only (tattoo artist!) , so I am super free during the weekdays/nights to hang with your fur baby. About: I love all animals big and small. I have volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter and Oakland Zoo. Always had cats and dogs in my life. I am retired and enjoy walking (and playing with) dogs/cats and getting exercise. My time is pretty flexible and can work with your busy schedule. Safety is my main concern when walking a pet — always ensuring harness/collar/leash is secure and avoiding approaching dogs. After a walk I fill their water bowls and ensure the door is locked.

About: I was an active dog sitter all through college and spent the better part of 2022 fostering several dogs for short and long stays! I work and am out of the house from 9-5:30ish so if your pup is comfortable being crated for that duration or if you are super super confident they can hang out alone not in the crate then I more than welcome weekday stays in my home! If you feel they can handle the solo time in your home without a crate as well then I am more than happy to sit at your home and stay full time in your home except for while I’m at work. On weekends I am with your pup all day long and you’ll get as many photos and updates as you’d like. I can’t wait to meet and learn about your pup! During stays with me I will make sure to meet all your pup’s exercise and social needs as you request it. I am pretty active and happy to take your dog out all day or play catch in my pretty large living space. If I have to step out without your baby I am diligent to leave enrichment toys with your approval. I live in large apartment that is already pretty puppy proof! Ill take your dog out within 20 minutes of waking up for their first walk and back for breakfast. After some settling and depending your needs and request we will go out for a good walk or park play with your approval. Your pup will then hang out with me throughout the day! Playing indoor games together and solo enrichment activities. Your pup will have a space on my couch if you allow the use of furniture in your home (otherwise they will have a soft bed and lots of cozy blankets to snuggle on the floor). Overall, I will follow your instructions to a T and ensure lots of loving play!

Christina was very responsive to my original request and was great during our meet and greet. Despite all the little notes I had, she handled it with flying colors. During the visits, she did a great job of making sure my cat felt the presence of humans, even if my cat wasn't feeling especially social. Thanks so much Christina and I'd love to work with her again.
This was my first time being away from Taffy since I adopted him, so I was a little worried about how he would handle the situation, especially since he tends to be wary of new people. I was so pleased to see that he really seemed to like Crystal! I think it speaks well to her understanding of and empathy towards cats that Taffy was so comfortable around her despite just meeting her. I'll definitely be booking Crystal again the next time I need to be away from my little ball of floof.
Lauren was able to take our last minute request really helping us out of a bind. She took great care of our cats while we were gone and even helped resolve an ant problem that arose while we were gone. Would recommend her services to anyone, will definitely book with her again!
Sarah was such a great sitter! She was attentive during the meet and greet and clearly demonstrated her comfort with felines, especially when approaching sassy and slightly aloof kitties like Maddie. I felt comfortable leaving Maddie under Sarah’s care and appreciated her thoughtful updates and timely communication. Emily was very trustworthy and informative about her visits with my cat. She sent photos and updates and it made me feel like my cat was being well taken care of even though she hid under the bed the whole time as she is afraid of strangers, just seeing photos of her comforted me. And the fact she was eating her food and pooping were good signs of my fur baby’s wellbeing. I highly recommend Emily and will use her again!
Yena was absolutely wonderful! 100/100 would book her again! This was my first time using Rover or any dog watching service/platform for Emmy and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or person. From the start, Yena was very kind, professional, and helpful in the booking and meet&greet process. She was flexible and accommodating with my last minute request as my original plan for the weekend fell through. The meet & greet went really well with Emmy, and Yena asked all the questions that make a pet owner feel comfortable and confident leaving their loved one in her hands. During the booking, Yena sent thorough and fun updates along with several photos of each drop by and tracked her routines even reaching out a day where Emmy didn't finish her food but noted that she was still excited about treats. She even washed her food and water bowls that were getting a little grimy!
