5. Blake G.
About: I have had pet dogs and cats my whole life, and they have always been a cherished part of my family. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. When housesitting, I’m able to provide care to your pets during the day until I leave for work at 6. I will do my best to adhere to your normal routine with your pets, and ensure that they are exercised, fed, and pottied before I leave for work. It is my goal to adhere to your pets’ normal routine as much as possible. When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

6. Madison G.
About: I am very kind, responsible / organized, punctual, and I just love animals, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs of all different sizes. I have taken care of my neighbor’s dogs, family members dogs, and friends who own dogs. I have helped raise puppies. I love being outdoors and enjoy going on walks. I have previous experience with handling medicine with dogs. I will make sure your dog feels comfortable and loved. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available to work full-time hours if needed, and I am available on the weekends if that is needed. I treat all animals with love and respect. For my client’s home, I am willing to crate their dog or do whatever works best for them. I can spend time a lot of time outside with their dogs. If the dogs come to my place, I am willing to accommodate their needs, so they feel comfortable and more at home.

7. Katy O.

“Katie's been amazing! Helping me out on short notice, sent all the updates and took great care of Timmi.”

8. Vanessa M.
About: I have taken care of many family and friends pets while they were away. Whether it be me staying at their home with their pet, doing visits and provide play time, feeding, providing medication, or going on walks. I am very comfortable keeping a schedule and making sure all pets are taken care of. I also have experience taking care of pets during special events, such as weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, etc. I am currently working a 9-5 Monday-friday but I do have an hour lunch. I am free anytime before or after work and all day on the weekends. I have a fenced half an acre yard with 1 friendly dog. There are 2 extra rooms in the home so boarding and providing space is not an issue.

9. Katie N.
“Katie was a dog owner for 15 years until he passed away this past Christmas,. She loved him very much and was a very good caregiver. She loves dogs and wants another one but unfortunately she is in college and can not get one. She is very responsible and will be a great caregiver”

“I wholeheartedly recommend James as a pet sitter and dog walker on Rover. James has cared for my pets on numerous occasions, and he always treats them with the same love and attention as if they were his own. His calm demeanor, patience, and natural connection with animals instantly put them at ease. Beyond being great with pets, James is a responsible, dependable, and caring individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. I’m confident he would provide safe, loving care for any pet, and his friendly and professional attitude makes him a pleasure to work with.”

13. Ellie A.

“Week one in the books! We’re new to having a dog walker & Ellie’s been great! She’s on time, takes great pics, provides thorough summaries of the walks & is kind enough to bring in our packages off of the front porch if she sees them! Highly recommend!”

14. Traci K.

“My sister Traci and I were raised with animals our whole lives. Anywhere from cats and dogs to ducks and horses- we have cared for all types. My sister was the one always bringing home the strays and making them part of our family. We have always felt that our pets are not just animals, but family members and Traci cared for them as such. Traci has two titles in our family- "Dog Whisperer" and "Dr Doolittle". She truly loves animals and will always put them first. I will always trust my kids aka my three dogs with their Auntie Traci. ”

15. Kaitlin C.
“Even though Kaitlin is my daughter she is not only wonderful with her yellow lab but she's also great with our black lab Bronx (the dogs are brother and sister). She knows what the dogs want and needs by their actions and is very caring with them. Her wish in life is to buy a farm and be able to adopt/foster as many dogs as she can. She's also a people person and very nurturing, which is why she has chosen to attend nursing school.”

16. Chris D.
About: Dogs (and other pets) have been a part of my family since I was a child and we had our first Golden Retriever puppy, who was part of our life until he passed from age. Since having my own family, we have always had a dog in the house. I know the importance of having someone there to care for your dog overnight or just to have them cared for through the workday. Extra messes and regular messes are no problem, just a part of having a pet. Giving regular medicine and care is also an important part of providing for the needs of a pet. I have done dog training with all the dogs we have had and will learn your system as well as be a confident and caring sitter. Pet care is my current summer job, I am available most nights, and would have the availability to provide care throughout the day during the week, depending on travel distance. When caring for my pets we prioritize play and attention given to them. We have used fenced yards and long lead leashes before as well. Caring for other's pets I pay attention to their routines and preferences, what works for my dogs and pets does not always work for others so learning about their needs is key. Pets need love, routines, and consistency, and when I care for others following the instructions and needs of the family is what I will strive to carry out.

18. Hannah W.
“I highly recommend Hannah as a pet sitter/ horse sitter/house sitter. She has taken care of our two dogs and two horses many times over the last few years. She is dependable, trustworthy, honest and follows directions well. She is comfortable around horses (She has owned her horse for years). I am confident that she would recognize an emergency situation (like colic) and seek appropriate care. She has taken care of our dogs both as puppies and as adults. Hannah is hard working and conscientious.”

About: I have always had a special connection with animals, dogs especially, and grown up being called an animal whisper. Ive had dogs of all ages my whole life. I have experience with puppies, adults and senior dog care. Currently learning more and more about training dogs and using thoes techniques on my husky mix. Im all for giving your furry friends the care they deserve❤️I dont have any cats! I am currently working at an Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in Yorkville and my shift is 6am-2pm. My schedule changes every other week. Although my boyfriend works the 3pm-11pm shift so someone is home most of the time. I am not totally free but I would be willing to work something out! My house has a front and back yard-not too big. We use a tie out for our dog and we have a few extras if needed for your dog! Me and my boyfriend live in a two bedroom duplex. Most areas of the house is dog proofed and we have plenty of toys for both to play with. My dog does really good with other dogs and loves to have company and a friend to play with. He is still younger so he can be hyper at first but will eventually calm down:)
