About: I have had pet dogs and cats my whole life, and they have always been a cherished part of my family. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. When housesitting, I’m able to provide care to your pets during the day until I leave for work at 3:30 pm i will do my best to adhere to your normal routine with your pets, and ensure that they are exercised, fed, and pottied before I leave for work. It is my goal to adhere to your pets’ normal routine as much as possible. When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

“Allison was excellent with our dog, Rosie. I was worried about separation anxiety, as she is older and we had been home with her throughout the pandemic. We walk daily and she is very social with humans and needs interaction but doesn’t like other dogs. Allison came over early every morning for a week, took her for a long walk with playtime, and sent notifications and photos to us daily. She also handled daily allergy medicine and fed her too. We completely trusted Allison in our home; she came over for a meet-and-greet in advance and subsequently followed all instructions. I will definitely use her again!”

About: Hi! My wife and I love animals. We currently offer drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting (mainly on weekends). We are very compassionate about animals and would love to keep your pet company while you are away. Both of us work mostly remotely, so we have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your pet's needs. I worked there for two years, and I have grown up with & been around both dogs and cats my whole life. About: Hello! I've always had lots of pets growing up and have a love for furry companions. They truly are the heart of the family! Many friends and family will lean on me to watch over pets when they leave town and I'm looking to extend this service out to the community around me. Open to dog/house sitting, cat sitting, walking, and will include lots of belly scratches to any pets- big or small! About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( At this time, I am working another part-time job as a behavior technician Monday through Friday, with the time usually being from 4:30 to 7:00pm. Occasionally, however, I am asked to come in at either 9:00am or 10:00am until about 12:00pm or 1:00pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or visit! About: I've taken care of my own 3 cats and have been trusted by neighbors and family members to housesit with their animals for long periods of time. I'm currently working 3 days a week at Paradise Car Wash in Yorkville IL, with my open schedule I will have plenty of time to take clients.
