About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life from big dogs to small. I love walking my own dogs in forest preserves and I have dog-sat my neighbor’s dog before. I also worked at a pet store for a few months. I’m currently in school and have a part time job, but my mornings during the weekdays from 6 am to 11am are free to walk your dogs. I currently don’t offer pet care in my home, but I’m happy to travel to you. I make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while in their own home. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. I can also send updates and photos so you know they’re doing great while you’re away.

About: Hi! My wife and I love animals. We currently offer drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting (mainly on weekends). We are very compassionate about animals and would love to keep your pet company while you are away. Both of us work mostly remotely, so we have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your pet's needs. We personally own 3 lovely beagles, so there is no such thing as too many pets. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or for a meet and greet! We would love to check-in on your pet for either a brief or extended stay, whatever you have going on. Willing to accept pets with any medical condition, and willing to administer any prescriptions they might need. All that we ask is that you let us know about any behaviors (i.e. dog-reactive, loud noises, not good with children etc.) so we can ensure a safe environment for your pet. Thanks for considering us! I work from home and my wife works remotely several days a week, so we both have a very flexible schedule and can adjust to the needs of each individual pet we care for. We ensure that we fully understand the daily routines and living arrangements of each pet so we can keep their routines the same while the owner is away and ensure a safe environment.

About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. As I share similar hours with our students, my availability Monday through Friday will only be after 3:30pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! About: I have worked in kennel for 2 years. Currently, I work at a vet clinic. I have experience with dogs and cats. I can do drop ins, dog walking, spending overnights with the pets at owners home. I work full time and I am up bright an early. I can let you dogs out before and after work on weekdays. On weekend I can do drop ins, daycare and boarding at the owners house. I have reliable transportation. I will not have pets at my apartment due to size. I'd rather go to the owner's home for an easier transition for the dog/cat. To make it easier, I need a detailed schedule and a phone number to contact owners for updates and photos.

About: Been a caretaker of everyone all my life 🤭 and my household has always has pets, especially dogs but also cats, bunnies, birds so I’m equipped for just about anything plus I love to have fun! I currently work from home for my clothing business so I make my own hours making me ready and available whenever you need me so don’t hesitate for same day appointments. My history with pets, attentive nature and patience will enable me to meet your pet wherever they are with training and enhance your pet’s behavior skills no problem.

About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals! Currently have 3 loving and friendly dog along with 1 cat! They love when friends come over and they have someone to play with! We go on walks, love to be outside in our fenced in our back yard and snuggling up on the couch! My fur babies and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! I do have 3 children so being good around kids for stays with me is a must! Thank you! I am currently a full time stay at home mom, so I will be home with your pets all day long! We like to spend a lot of the day out in the fenced in backyard, and getting cozy on the couch afterwards for a nap! We have a monthly bark box subscription, so we have plenty of toys to play with! I have a big fenced in yard, and sweet dogs, eager to meet some new friends to play with! We do not have crates at my home, but always welcome to stay consistent with your preference of crate training if necessary!

About: My passion for dogs has been with me since a very young age. As a child, my dream was to be a vet because of my passion and love for animals. I have 20 years of service, and my approach to caring for my dogs at home has always been holistic and natural. I've reversed my dog's diagnosed disease naturally and have saved his life naturally when vets have told me to put my dog to sleep. I'm thorough with my dogs’ routine, medication, diet, and cleaning eating. That makes me highly prepared for the dogs I tend to. Fun fact: My family and I own 17 pets! Usually, when everyone goes on a family trip, I'm the caregiver for all our pets at once. Hopefully, the background I give of my experience gives you peace in choosing me to watch your babies 🐩🐶🐕 I do freelance work; it's my main source of income. Therefore, it’s easy to create my own schedule and very flexible days and hours. It will be easier for you to book with me as I strive to work with your schedule and needs effortlessly. Personally, with my own dog, I'm highly attentive. Even though we have a backyard, I strongly believe in always being present and attentive when taking your dog out to potty. Even in your own backyard! Anytime they are outside, I will be present. I also think it’s important to interact and be present regularly with them; they need attention and love, too. I make sure to spend time with my dog when I come home and make time to play, cuddle, and show him affection . Also, it's important for me to take him out of the house. Even if it's a short walk, cruising in the car to pick up errands or food. It's important for them to explore and experience different environments.

About: I grew up exposed to all kinds of animals. Ranging from cats and dogs to a parrot and an iguana. My family taught me that love for and from animals is unconditional. I've taken care of goats, I've had pet rats, built bigger tanks for turtles, created a pond for fish. I have lots of experience with animals and it's all over the spectrum. I feel confident I can satisfy your animal care needs! I work full time, but I personally have one cat and my roommate has two cats so it is a fun and fur filled home. I can care for animals in the client's home. I can take your dog for a walk or spend time playing with your cat. I am confident and comfortable with many needs that are requested.

About: My family has been part of Rover for 10 years and have gained a network of regular animals. I have taken care of many types and breeds of animals including my own family pets. I've had 3 dogs, 3 cats, a chinchilla, a guinea pig, and fish so I can handle most animals. Overall, I am pretty open on weekdays after 11:00 am and can do overnight stays as well. I am available all day on weekends as well. I am in an apartment that does not allow pets so I am looking to have time with animals through Rover. I miss my animals back home since I am away at college so I would never put an animal in danger since I know how important a pet can be to someones life.

About: I have always had a special connection with animals, dogs especially, and grown up being called an animal whisper. Ive had dogs of all ages my whole life. I have experience with puppies, adults and senior dog care. Currently learning more and more about training dogs and using thoes techniques on my husky mix. Im all for giving your furry friends the care they deserve❤️I dont have any cats! I am currently working at an Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in Yorkville and my shift is 6am-2pm. My schedule changes every other week. Although my boyfriend works the 3pm-11pm shift so someone is home most of the time. I am not totally free but I would be willing to work something out! My house has a front and back yard-not too big. We use a tie out for our dog and we have a few extras if needed for your dog! Me and my boyfriend live in a two bedroom duplex. Most areas of the house is dog proofed and we have plenty of toys for both to play with. My dog does really good with other dogs and loves to have company and a friend to play with. He is still younger so he can be hyper at first but will eventually calm down:)

About: From dogs to turtles to birds. I grew up with animals all my life. I have my own young pup and senior dog. I truly know the time it takes, walking/ exercising, food schedule, and love to give to both! I love love love animals, so I definitely want to incorporate pet sitting into my lifestyle; especially if it means I can help others during their travels and such. I’m a new mom, but I have a flexible schedule most days! If my hubby works during the time of your pet’s care, I will have to bring the baby so he’s not left alone. I know the value in crate training, potty/ food schedules if need be, being in a comfortable space for your pet, and anything to maintain their sanctuary at home.
