About: I have had pet dogs and cats my whole life, and they have always been a cherished part of my family. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. When housesitting, I’m able to provide care to your pets during the day until I leave for work at 3:30 pm i will do my best to adhere to your normal routine with your pets, and ensure that they are exercised, fed, and pottied before I leave for work. It is my goal to adhere to your pets’ normal routine as much as possible. When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

About: I have had all types of animals my entire life. I had 3 cats in my childhood, then as I got older we had guinea pigs and fish. I was a volunteer at a local humane society for 6 years growing up. I then worked at Kendall County Animal Control as a Kennel Technician for over a year. Then I worked at a highly established Naperville Animal Vet for a year as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist. I have been at PetSmart for over 4 years now. I am a active member of Renko Animal Rescue as a volunteer and foster. I specialize in alot of animal care, but if I had to specifically pick one, im a cat person. I do have alot of knowledge about dogs, such as medical, feeding, nutrition, excerise, and behavioral from all my past jobs/experience. I currently have 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 gerbils, a bearded dragon, a betta fish, and 30 exotic shrimp! I am currently full-time. But I do get to write my own schedules, so I can work around any needs. I can do morning and nights! My entire care will be completely based around your animals needs. I will ask how their normal day is, and I'd like to keep it very similar, so there's no stress or discomfort. But of course they will get lots of love, because who can resist their cute little faces!

About: I have taken care of a dog named Cali since she was a pup and a cat named Honey since he was a kitten! Taking care of both is difficult, but it got easier when knowing what they needed and when they needed it, like with basic needs; such as litter box cleaning, when to go outside, when to be fed, and when it is time to play. Having school two days a week, pet care fits into the rest of my three day week, especially with friends going off to other schools. Pets need attention mostly all the time, that is unless you have a cat who is very sleepy. I usually just check to make sure everything is clean and food/water is full for cats. If they need something specific, usually you'll know quickly. But dogs are a little different. They need more attention and lots of loving. They have schedules, love to play, and need to go out multiple times a day. Based on different animals, they will need different care. Luckily I have experience with both, which makes it easier to provide good care.

About: I am an excellent communicator and treat pets as they are my own. I have a heart for helping others and this is one of the ways I do that! I’m currently a college student and am very flexible with my schedule. I have weekends free and can help in a last minute situation! I’m happy to help. I make sure to ask lots of questions about the home before I am left there with the animals. I also make sure to question anything I am unsure of or unfamiliar with! I also prefer my fiancé to accompany me for safety reasons. We are a fun couple who loves dog sitting and taking care of your pups! We’d love to meet you and your furry friends!

About: Hello! I've always had lots of pets growing up and have a love for furry companions. They truly are the heart of the family! Many friends and family will lean on me to watch over pets when they leave town and I'm looking to extend this service out to the community around me. I love walking dogs, playing with pets, and just giving them company. I'm extremely flexible with my schedule since I am a grad student in physical therapy and can accommodate any needs. Open to dog/house sitting, cat sitting, walking, and will include lots of belly scratches to any pets- big or small! I would love to help out in any way I can to make sure your furry family member gets the best care they can get! I can't wait to meet your pets! Until May, I just have class M - F 8a-12p. From May 13 - July 10th, I will have clinical and be working 40 hours a week with varying start/end times. Completely free on weekends! Very comfortable with working in whatever environment your pet is most comfortable with. Experience with fences, invisible fences, lines, and crating. I’m extremely respectful of maintaining a home environment and keeping up with a pet’s normal daytime routine!

About: From dogs to turtles to birds. I grew up with animals all my life. I have my own young pup & senior dog. I truly know the time it takes, walking/ exercising, food schedule, & love to give to both! I love love love animals, so I definitely want to incorporate pet sitting into my lifestyle; especially if it means I can help others during their travels & such. Just started my full time career, but I have a flexible schedule most days! I’m open to early morning or evening in week days and all day weekends. I know the value in crate training, potty/ food schedules if need be, being in a comfortable space for your pet, & anything to maintain their sanctuary at home.

About: I've taken care of my own 3 cats and have been trusted by neighbors and family members to housesit with their animals for long periods of time. I'm currently working 3 days a week at Paradise Car Wash in Yorkville IL, with my open schedule I will have plenty of time to take clients. I will make sure that in my clients home I'm aware of any dangers that could be presented in any scenario, I will keep all animals healthy and out of harms way while in my care.

I worked there for two years, and I have grown up with & been around both dogs and cats my whole life. I am currently a full time college student but I have a lot of time after classes in the afternoon and evening, as well as free time on the weekends, to accommodate. I can provide treats, toys, and love to a client’s fur baby. Pet care naturally fits into my daily life because it’s already part of my routine. From morning walks to check-ins and evening wind-downs, caring for pets blends right in with my day. I’m used to planning around their needs and enjoy giving them attention, structure, and comfort along the way. It never feels like an extra task. It’s just part of my everyday life, and I make sure each pet feels happy, safe, and well cared for. About: I've fostered dogs for years, but i currently work at a dog boarding/daycare facility so I have a good idea of how to take care of animals properly. I have a full time job at a dog kennel, but I'm very open outside of that. Do to me working semi long hours, it may be a longer time between potty breaks. I have a big yard, however it's not fenced it. I would prefer to take care of the pets in their home rather than my own.

About: My name is Traci and I spent 22 years serving my country. I am now retired and spend all my time with my fur kids. I have been a volunteer with a local Lab Rescue in Denver, where I did adoptions, transports and I fostered dogs of all ages in my own home. I also have a small zoo of my own...(dogs, cats, fish) My family calls me the dog whisperer. I have always had a connection with animals and would love to continue giving back. I will come to your home and take care of your kids and house as if you were there. As a foster, I was responsible for training the dogs that were in my care before they go to their forever home. Recently, I have been training my own Lab as a Service Dog, that will be used for veterans that experience anxiety/panic attacks and even PTSD. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover my entire life. My parents got me a dog when I was 6 months old and his name was Pepper. I have always had dogs with me. I started volunteering with a local lab rescue because I felt like I could always do more for the animals. Fostering dogs in my own home, training them, showing them love them (some of them have never had that) and then I help get them adopted out to a family who will love them just the same. It was a rewarding hobby. Meet my pets: 3 cats 4 Dogs My experience administering medication: I am very comfortable with medications and administering them. I was a combat medic in the Navy, and I am currently a Wilderness EMT with over 20 years in the medical field. I am trained and certified in K-9 First Aid and CPR. Most recently I worked at a dog rescue in Puerto Penasco, Mexico (Barb's Dog Rescue). Working at a dog rescue, you see the worst cases of abuse and neglect. I was trained how to administer medications, IV's, Sub-Q fluids and give LOTS of love. Your fur kids are in good hands.
