About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
About: I have been dog sitting on rover for about a little over a year now, I grew up with dogs since I was born. I don't have my own pets so I have a lot of time to give yours. I am available on all day on weekends. If you’re within a couple of miles of Geneva I am available to go let your dogs out on my lunch break and then dog sit after on weekdays. I will respect your home and pets safety when I visit. I can't wait to play with your pet and make sure while you are away they are cared for and secure.
“Erika is wonderful with dogs. She is fully engaged and responsive to their needs. Her reports of her time with Ziggy are so much appreciated and detailed with photos! 10/10 recommend!”

“Thanks for your help Adam! I really appreciate it! Yes you’ll be hearing from us again. 😊 🐾 They were happy to see me but I could tell they were “pooped” out from the walk. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. From playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and care, I treat every pet like family. As a future nursing student and lifelong animal lover, I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable handling feeding routines, medications, walks, playtimes, and lots of affection. I currently have a very flexible schedule for the summer and am available for drop ins and walks throughout the week. About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs, but my main pet sitting experience is from a family that has me watch their 2 dogs and 2 cats every year during my winter break anywhere from 2 weeks to a month, and I enjoy it! I’m a student, but I’m not in classes right now. I have a lot of free time right now for the summer, specifically on weekdays, and certain weekends! I’m unable to have your animals in my house but could possibly make an exception if needed. In your home, I’ll be very respectful of how you want me to care for them!

About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.
About: Ever since I was little, I’ve always been surrounded by furry friends. I value the tranquility, love, & affection that animals bring. I love every animal; big or small, energetic or calm, you name it! I will take care of your pup the same way I would my own. I am currently working part-time at Enigma 5PM-10PM (Friday & Saturday nights). I also have class midday Monday-Thursday and Tuesday nights. Other than that, I have all the time in the world for your furry friends! I will go above and beyond what is asked. It’s not only walking, feeding, and watching over your pet, but also making sure they’re apart of a schedule, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
“Kassandra is marvelous! She's friendly, kind, and very reliable. My dogs adore her! She's been a great help while I've been recovering from surgery; her dog walking has made Birdie and Gracie so much happier and calmer. I would use her services again in a minute!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Charles
Kristy is the absolute best. Her summary of her walks with our dog and the photos we get are 10/10. I feel so comfortable knowing our dog is in good hands when Kristy comes over. They have their little ritual of stopping at a treat stand in our neighborhood. There have been a few times where we’ve needed her help last minute or to come back in the same day since our schedules changed, and she’s always so willing to help us out if she can! We love Kristy!

Our pup loves Don, and we are so happy we found him. He really loves dogs! Don took her for a much needed long walk mid day when we were out of town; sent us pics, gave us peace of mind to leave her. The Rover app makes scheduling quick, and a smooth transaction.

Airing is an extremely kind and friendly person. I knew the second I met her that she would be great to care for my dog. She listened to my dog's cues and took it at her pace which tells me Airin is very knowledgeable in caring for animals. She provided me with a detailed report on how my dog was during the walk and took lots of pictures. I know I will be using Airin to care for my dog again! Thank you!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
