Lucky and Scout looked so happy in all the updates from Nicole. While we weren’t there to facilitate the walks, our dog sitters had great things to say about Nicole and how she was with our girls. We would definitely hire her again if we needed to!

Lizzie was great and accommodating! She was able to do a few house visits during the holidays, which can be very hard to find. My dog also gives up on all training when it’s cold outside but she made it work and provided thorough updates. I would definitely book her again.

About: With over 12 years of experience, I've cared for multiple dogs, trained two, and consistently follow routines. I enjoy walking dogs and ensuring they’re happy, healthy, and well-fed. I’ve also cared for my uncle’s dogs and picked up many effective training techniques along the way. I'm reliable, patient, and passionate about giving every dog the attention and structure they need. I currently don’t have another job, so my schedule is completely open and flexible. I’m available any day, any time, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Whether it’s a last-minute request or a regular routine, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for you and your dog’s needs. My open availability means you can always count on me. I always follow the feeding and walking schedules provided by clients to ensure each dog’s routine stays consistent and comfortable. Most clients leave a list or specific details, and I make sure to stick to them closely. In between scheduled tasks, I spend quality time playing with the dogs, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company so they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you're away.

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. My availability is open most of the time so just let me know when I’m needed and I should be able to accommodate! I look forward to meeting your pets! I am experienced in ensuring your animal stays comfortable and happy even if they may get nervous meeting someone new for example... I have lots of experience working with shy and reactive dogs and am comfortable with all temperaments because I can handle them well! I know how important your pets are so I am well prepared for anything!

About: I have had pets all of my life, both cats and dogs. I have worked at an animal shelter for three years where I took dogs out for daily walks, gave them enrichment and lots of love and patience. I would love to get to know your dog and find out how to give them the best days possible! I am also very prepared to clean any messes that may occur and make sure that your dog remains safe while we play. I am a part-time college student so I have a few assignments to take care of weekly. I have no other job at this time so school is my only commitment this summer. I always check to ensure that any harmful materials anywhere the animals can reach them. I regularly monitor various toys that are out and ensure that they are not being eaten and playtime is always monitored.

About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings i’m in an elementary school and Wednesday’s I spend my whole day on campus as well as Thursday afternoons. I’m free most of the time ! I don’t board animals due to my own pets. But i adhere to any schedules and routines done in the home. I also respect others property. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wasco. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wasco.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wasco. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
