“Stephanie was amazing! She came over for a meet and greet on short notice and stayed for an hour to answer all of my questions, and meet my pup. She came over every day to walk her while I was away and my family was working. She even checked to make sure my dog was given her medicine and gave it to her if needed. I got messages/updates and pictures every day which really put me at ease. Not only did she take excellent care of my baby, but she also checked in on me to see how my trip was, which was really nice of her. Stephanie really went above and beyond just walking Charlie, she took the time to make sure she had everything she needed and gave her plenty of love. I will absolutely use her in the future!!”

About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember. We've had cats, a dog, and several guinea pigs so I am familiar with their behaviors. I've been pet sitting through Rover now for a year and I'm currently volunteering at Anderson Animal Shelter with the cats. A few years ago I volunteered in the wildlife department there and learned to feed baby birds. I have incubated three different litters of abandoned duck eggs and raised them for about a week before giving them to the shelter to live a proper duck life. I currently am not employed but I am in nursing school during the regular school year. I pretty much have open availability year round because I just commute to Waubonsee a couple times a week and have one clinical day. I make sure every animal is well cared for. I have lots of patience for animals and will do whatever is necessary to make sure they eat and go potty. It's important to me that the animals are comfortable with myself, so I will spend extra time with them in order to get them to that point.

“Caroline has been walking Frito twice a week for the past 6 weeks. Frito adores her and she is communicative, responsible, prompt and flexible. Also, when it has been cold out, she takes Frito for small walks (as I have asked) and then spends time playing with him and loving on him for the remainder of the time. When Frito was having digestive problems on one of her walking days, I contacted her that morning and she moved around her schedule to be able to give him an extra visit to ensure he was ok. I was so grateful and it gave me the peace of mind to leave him knowing she would be there to care for him. I knew he would be in great hands and that Caroline would communicate every detail with me. About: I grew up around dogs my entire life. And recently, getting my own dog who’s 2 years old, taking care of Spike like he’s my child. I currently am a full-time student from Monday-Thursdays. About: I’ve had pets all my life including farm animals such as a goat and chickens as well as dogs cats ferrets hamsters. I currently do not have pets of my own right now but would love to spoil your pet with love and cuddles. I live in a forest type home with a very large front and backyard for your pups to run around. I go on daily walks around my neighborhood or I can drive to a nearby dog park. If you have any specific questions please feel free to let me know. I will also send updates to you with photos every couple hours or as per requested. I used to work at Petco grooming salon, and For a small additional charge I can trim your dogs nails, brush them daily, or other services.

“Our Franny is a super dog, but she has to stay home when we go out of town. Especially when we fly somewhere. So travel planning always includes arranging a dog and house sitter. So we were happy to hear that Mike H was between jobs and able to stay at our house for 5 days last Fall. We knew that he was a responsible lad and had served with the Coast Guard. We also had him stay for 8 days in early April. Franny was happy with Mike. Being a rescue, she has some idiosyncrasies, for instance with walking and encountering other dogs, but we left instructions and Mike followed them well. Mike also texted us with updates and pictures of Franny. When we got back Mike had left the house as clean as when we had left, had put our trash out on trash day, and texted us with an overall summary of Franny and his time together. We highly recommend Mike as a responsible, caring dog and/or house sitter.”
