About: I naturally get attached to animals, so your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll actually be cared for! I’m really patient and calm, which helps a lot with shy or anxious pets. I stick to routines and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM–2 PM, so I’m generally available for pet care outside of those hours. I’m also pretty flexible with scheduling and happy to work with your pet’s routine! I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable while in my care. I follow each owner’s instructions and give pets the attention and care they need.

About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. I work from home full time, so am able to provide your pup with all of the attention they deserve. They are free to run around in the fenced-in backyard and play at their fullest extent! Every pet owner has a different perspective on how to care for their pets. Some require a special routine for dinnertime or bedtime, while others require basic care with lots of love. I will follow whatever instructions are given to me by the owner…and I promise not to judge 😊

About: Animals have always been at the center of my life. I grew up on a farm, caring for dogs, cats, goats, sheep, and chickens, so reading animal behavior, staying calm under pressure and knowing when somethings off comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve trained my own dogs, worked with rescue animals, and volunteered with KARE, where I help rehabilitate, both wild and domestic animals. That experience has taught me how to handle pets of all temperament and backgrounds, including those who were shy, anxious, or still learning the ropes. I personally cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, chinchillas, sugar, gliders, hedgehogs, snakes, fish, turtles, parrots, and a wide variety of reptiles, so chances are, I’ve worked with a pet like yours before! I bring patience and consistency to every interaction, whether it’s a quick drop in or a longer house sit. What sets me apart is that I don’t just love animals, I understand them. Your pet isn’t just a booking to me, they’re a living creature who deserves calm, attentive care from someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing. i’m generally available weekday mornings, weekday evenings, and weekends. My schedule varies week to week, so I keep my calendar updated in real time. If you don’t see any availability that works, feel free to reach out as my schedule sometimes opens up with short notice! when I’m in your home, my priority is keeping your pet safe and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow your KARE instructions closely, do a quick safety check on arrival, and reach out immediately if anything seems off. You’ll get photo updates every visit so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for.

In a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely — including feeding times, walking routes, and any household rules — to help the pet feel secure. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, keep hazardous items out of reach, and maintain a clean, organized space. If caring for pets in my own home, I ensure all animals are properly introduced in a controlled setting, supervise interactions, and provide separate spaces if needed. I use pet-safe cleaning products, fresh water at all times, and ensure plenty of mental and physical enrichment. About: I've taken care of dogs of many breeds ever since I was a little girl. I took care of feeding, exercising, and bathing our dogs for my family. I also work as a kennel tech at autumn green hospital where I take care of pets daily including bathing, feeding , playing with and giving medication. I currently work as a kennel tech, and my schedule is kind of all over the place. However, I can bring your pet to work with me after they are reviewed by my boss to make sure they pass their rabies and fecal tests. I’m available Saturday mornings until 1 PM and am free all day on Sundays! I will update this note on a month-to-month basis depending on my schedule. If I were in your home, I would let your pet warm up to me first. Then, I would make sure they have clean water and food, follow any instructions you have for me, and give them lots of cuddles and love to keep them happy.

About: I know how important my dog's well-being and daily routine is to me, and I would love to help keep your dog in their routine! I have experience caring for and training dogs of all types, and will cater to senior dogs, medical needs, or special needs such as sensitive, selective, or reactive dogs. In my spare time I volunteer with my therapy dog Reese, and have experience fostering and training dogs using positive reinforcement. I know how hard it is to be away from your pet but I can assure a safe and successful walk, sit, or stay! I am currently available for animal care! Available on weekdays, weekends, for stop-ins during the work day, or over weekends. Happy to continue care with boarding or sitting. In your home, I can offer lots of your dog's favorite exercise for every season. Depending on their activity level, we can take walks, runs, or just breaks/sniffs. I always clean up after dogs and demonstrate responsible dog ownership in your neighborhood! For stays at my house: the yard is huge, and backs to forest preserve property and pond, but the yard is unfenced so I am diligent about leashes.

She came over every day to walk her while I was away and my family was working. She even checked to make sure my dog was given her medicine and gave it to her if needed. Not only did she take excellent care of my baby, but she also checked in on me to see how my trip was, which was really nice of her. About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. I have a gift of love for dogs. My dogs mean the world to me. They are everything. When ever I see someone walking their dog I say hi to the dog! I am patient and caring. I believe dogs need that because just like us they have feelings and triggers. I understand each dog is different and I will most certainly adapt to your dogs needs. And of course give plenty of snoot kisses. I am the type of dog lover to lay on the ground with your dog, have conversations and send plenty of pictures and updates to you 🧡 I work a part time job from 5am to 10am. And the rest of the day is for the dogs and whatever they need! Frequent potty breaks and long walks I have unfenced 3 acres and quiet streets and walking trails for exercise and a 7 year old boxer Shepard mix who loves to play. My dog and any dog are allowed on furniture unless you suggest otherwise. I love to walk or wven run long distance. My doggo baylee and I love to 8 miles most days.
