About: I have had dogs for most of my life and truly love them. I have a lot of animal experience from my past and current job, and often watch friends and family's pets when they are out of town. I have a 3 yr old dog who loves to play but will also five other dogs space when they want. I am very lucky he is amazing with other dogs. I have always put animals first and will do the same for your pets. I work locally and have a job that is flexible enough to allow me to check on your pet during the day some days of the week. I am Typically available most weekdays after 4pm. Some weekdays I am available earlier in the day. Message for exact schedule availability each week. I would love to walk or exercise your dog or check on your cat! My backyard is fenced and I can keep an eye on your pet when outside if they are here during the day. About: I’ve worked in animal hospitals, training, boarding, & grooming. I currently own five geckos, two dogs, and one cat. Animal care is apart of my everyday routine! I trained my current dogs using positive reinforcement, which I am willing to enact on your pets as well if requested, and one of my dogs needs two medications every day, so I am more than willing to care for pets that require a little extra love. I am currently a dog groomer so I get to love and care for cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, & sizes for most of the week! On my free time, I have to do husbandry for five geckos, then care for my two dogs. I wish I could say my cat requires more work but all he does is lay around, so that makes my job easy! I will ask you for explicit directions and various questions to ensure the best & correct care for your animal. I won’t do anything you haven’t laid out for me except give them lots of love and attention!

About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. I work from home full time, so am able to provide your pup with all of the attention they deserve. They are free to run around in the fenced-in backyard and play at their fullest extent! Every pet owner has a different perspective on how to care for their pets. Some require a special routine for dinnertime or bedtime, while others require basic care with lots of love. I will follow whatever instructions are given to me by the owner…and I promise not to judge 😊

About: I’ve had Dogs since I was little. I currently have 2 German Short Haired Pointers which is a very high energy breed dog. With that being said I’m comfortable and able to care for small to big dogs including high energy fur babies🐾 I’ve also been a Nanny for 4 years and care for toddlers so i’m ready for anything! About: Ask anyone I know what is my favorite thing, besides my kids and they will tell you dogs. Let me take care of your pets when you aren't able :) I am a relator and have very flexible hours. I will be able to visit your pets multiple times a day. No, 8 hr in between visits. I am happy to bring them to my house too if they get along well with other dogs. I have to 2 doodles at home who are always around other dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard, I can walk them, take them to dog parks etc.. I am happy to stop in multiple times a day, walk, drive your pet to my house for a visit or take them to a park.,it is your call. I just want to keep them from getting lonely until you get home.

About: I've been caring for animals for over 12 years, starting with my own dog, Lola. Since both of my parents worked, I was often responsible for feeding her, taking her on walks, playing with her, and making sure she was well cared for. That experience taught me responsibility from a young age and helped me develop a genuine love for animals. About: My husband, Chris, and I can be your dog’s new best friend! We have 2 rescue dogs of our own and they have trained us well! We can provide walks, play time, belly rubs, or anything else your fur baby needs. During drop in visits, We will feed/water as necessary, spend time getting to know your dog, play time and some good quality personal interaction. Our walks will provide your dog the exercise he/she needs to stay active and release some of that puppy energy. We enjoy walks and consider them valuable bonding time with your dog, creating a trusting relationship. We also use that time to work on outdoor manners through positive reinforcement. We have had pets all our lives , so We are comfortable around all types of dogs. We can also care for your cat as well. We look forward to meeting your pup! My work from home schedule allows the ability to schedule around your pets needs. I always allow extra time in case my furry friends need some additional attention or snuggles. I only accept appointments when I know there’s in time in the my schedule , so your pet’s visit is NEVER rushed. Home visits are catered to your pet’s needs. Meals, treats, playtime, belly rubs, etc. I always discuss what you want for your dog visits, with you, beforehand. Walks can also be broken up into walk time/playtime if you prefer. Not all fur babies are the same, so please let me know what yours likes!

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise.
