About: I’ve taken care of our own, family and friends dogs since I was a kid. I previously worked with a dog walking company in college. I currently have my own, a 3-year-old Cavapoo named Berlioz who I adore. I look forward to hopefully meeting your furry friend! My schedule is pretty flexible right now. I am working part-time, so I can be available whenever needed. I prefer weekdays, but am willing to do weekends. Timing is flexible as well :) I have a fenced-in yard, and two dogs at the house. About: I have 3 large dogs in my household, all of very different personalities. On top of that, friends and family have also relied on me to take care of their pets while they are away as well. Recently, I have taken interest in animal rescue, and have helped rescue and send an injured mallard to the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. I am currently a student at west aurora highschool, and I am a member of the national honor society. About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember. We've had cats, a dog, and several guinea pigs so I am familiar with their behaviors. I've been pet sitting through Rover now for almost 3 years. I’ve volunteered at anderson animal shelter with the cats and a few years ago I volunteered in the wildlife department there and learned to feed baby birds. I have incubated three different litters of abandoned duck eggs and raised them for about a week before giving them to the shelter to live a proper duck life. I currently am not employed but I am in nursing school at Aurora University. Im still able to petsit if it works with my class and clinical schedule. This summer I’ll be available full time! I make sure every animal is well cared for. I have lots of patience for animals and will do whatever is necessary to make sure they eat and go potty. I frequently take her dog for walks and bathroom breaks, as well as feeding them both when needed. When my grandmother first got her lab, I was the main person training her and teaching her commands at a basic level. My Neighbor's Pets: Long Haired Labrador (Feeding, Handling) For the past few months, I have been taking care of my neighbor's 85 pound long-haired Labrador. This requires me to go over and take him out, feed him, and play with him. I also spend my time teaching him various commands he needs help with. This experience has technically been my first hired sitter job and I am looking for more as I love spending time with animals and giving them the love their owners do. I am currently in a Master's Program in the city. I have classes Mon-Wed. The rest of the week I am available at all hours. I love all pets like they are my own. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old,I've also taken care of special needs dogs and other animals as I am an animal lover. I am actually majoring in animal biology and veterinary medicine so that I can become a veterinarian. I was president of my animal club all through high school where I would set up and host adoption events, set up volunteer days at the human society and other animal shelters. There were even days I would set aside to make treats, toys and blankets for shelter dogs and other animals. I am usually free 24/7 so I'll have a bunch of free time to play and love on your fur babies, especially if they have a lot of energy and need to burn it off and run around. I do not start school until the fall but even then it is online so I will still have plenty of time to give them all my attention. I can easily crate your pup if need be and I also have doggy gates so they won't be able to run out of the door. I always have treats and toys on me and I stay by a dog friendly park to keep your dog occupied and engaging in some sort activity.
