“Lori is absolutely the best. It’s my first time doing Rover! Actually it’s my first time having someone else walk my dog and going into this I was very nervous but she’s made it super easy and stress free. Lori is very caring and very informative of the walks and how Ossa did. It’s the second time working with Lori but we’ve already booked her for a repeatedly weekly routine. Book with her! She’d amazing!!!”

7. Peter L.
“I was referred to Peter by a friend while visiting family over the summer. He looked after my senior cocker spaniel a few times. My dog is a bit of a grump, but really took to Peter. Peter made sure to exercise him appropriately for his age and administered his Vetmedin (heart murmur meds). Very happy my dog was in good hands.”
8. Keriann D.
“I have never met an animal lover as devoted to the proper care of all creatures then Keriann. Entrusting the care of your best friend (or friends!) to Keri is an amazing choice, thanks to her passionate devotion to what's best for your pet along with her incredible breadth of knowledge about animals of all kinds. She will happily give you and your pet her genuine interest and attention. She is diligent, trustworthy and considerate- qualities that will make her a dream to work with. Whether your pup has special 'quirks' or is an easy-going lover, they will absolutely find comfort and ease in the capable care of Keriann. Give her a try and I bet your pet will have a new bestie in no time!”
9. Amanda S.
“Amanda is so sweet with my dog Callie. It’s only been my first two weeks but I already feel so good about her walks and care. Her pictures of Callie during her walk make me smile when I’m at work. It’s a great pick me up for the day knowing she is in great hands.”
10. Kiana B.
“Kiana is so sweet and considerate! She made sure my dog wasn’t overheated by taking breaks under some shade on the walk. My dog loves her!”

About: I’m a 23 year old graphic design student at the College of DuPage. I have a wonderful Blue Russian cat named Blue (after the raptor in Jurassic World) and I also absolutely love dogs. I’ve gone on dog walks and have taken care of dogs for close friends in the past. And I am currently living with a friend and have been gaining experience through her since she boards dogs. I want to expand on my experience and learn about the nature of different animals. I am a kind and nurturing person who is always ready to learn something new. My hobbies are drawing and singing. And I love to hangout with friends and try new foods and places. I hope I can be a good fit for you and your family.
12. Desteny R.
“We had Desteny walk my GS pup today after me having to reschedule dates, due to him having a procedure. Rarely do I right reviews but because Rocco is part of our family, I should say I must for those who are also dog owners. Desteny was excited to walk Rocco, she checked up on him after his procedure. Yet not knowing him, she showed care. The affection she showed after the walk, AMAZED us. He seemed to be engaged with her. Seem to Rocco (our pup) like if she was a long time friend or family to us. He showed wag tail after his walk once she was leaving, rushed to receive her affection?. Would be seeking another booking with Desteny.”

About: I've grown up with animals all my life. Dogs and cats mostly, but sometimes guinea pigs, birds, fish, and other reptiles. I've not had any dogs with medical conditions, but I had a cat with stage 4 renal failure that needed multiple daily treatments and injections every other day. I have been working remotely from home for the past two years now. I'm the supervisor, so I'm given a lot of leeway in my day to day coming and going. It's a position that doesn't require a full focus for the entirety of the day, and caring for someone else's animal gives me the opportunity to feel less trapped in my own home! My home is on a half acre corner lot that provides ample room for play. Although the yard is not currently fenced, I also live directly across the street from a walking trail entrance.
14. Megan M.
“She has Watched My golden Retriever Jeffy For A Couple Of Days while my family was on Vacation And I have to say She did a Wonderful Job”
15. Isabella T.
“Place your precious pups in the care of my daughter, Isabella, and leave your worries behind! By day, she's a hardworking freshman at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign campus, majoring in Animal Sciences. She also serves as a social chair for her sorority, Alpha Phi. By night, she's usually studying or sleeping when she doesn't have Greek responsibilities, and she's an occasional designated driver and caretaker for others, given that she doesn't drink or party (thank goodness!). She's honest, trustworthy, very mature, loves the outdoors, loves dogs and cats. Her cat, Fluffy, doesn't leave her side when she comes home from school. And, she's hoping to earn some spending money by working with Rover. We're very proud of her and hope you'll give her a chance to provide your dog(s) with the exercise and attention they deserve when you aren't able to be there yourself. Cheers!”
16. Lynette M.
“Lynette did a great job with our pup. She arrived on time, fed her, gave her water and took her for walk around the neighborhood. Thank you Lynette!”
17. Eryn D.
“Eryn has taken care of my fur baby multiple times and I always felt safe with her in her hands. She always filled me in and kept me aware of how she was doing. I highly recommend!”
18. Laura G.
“Laura was excellent with our 2 little dogs. She walked them and spent good quality time with them while we were on vacation. Will definitely use her again. Highly recommended!!!”
19. Jaime N.
“Jaime has always treated our dogs like her own! Not only does she take great care of her own dogs, but our dogs love her. She is very caring, energetic, and very responsible. We never worry when we leave our dogs with her that they will have a loving and watchful eye on them! Her professional, yet fun, demeanor is what has gained our confidence in her ability to care for our precious pets. She is our top pick when it comes to the care of our dogs!”

About: Hello! I’m so glad you stopped by Rover to look for your next dog walker/pet sitter, and I can’t wait to hear all about the lovable pets you share your life with! I was an animal shelter manager & professional dog trainer for four fantastic years, and managed the care of thousands of rescued dogs and cats while they waited to find their forever homes! I went back to school to study Applied Animal Behavior at the University of Washington, and after moving to sunny California, I took the big leap into the world of zoos & aquariums. Since then, I’ve been an aquarium keeper with sharks & stingrays, a zoo educator at the world famous San Diego Zoo & Brookfield Zoo, and worked with native North American wildlife as a zookeeper! I’ve had the privilege of working with just about every kind of furry, feathered, and finned animal, and loved every minute of it. My diverse background has given me a lot of experience in animal care, training & behavior, and veterinary care. I’m very experienced working with special needs animals (both behavior issues and medical needs), and have even had some special pups of my own at home, including a deaf/blind border collie, a cattle dog with separation anxiety, and a snuggly pittie who needs a little extra help getting along with other doggos. I own a 7 month old greyhound puppy named Arthur, and am equipped to meet the special care considerations for sighthounds. I’m also experienced in caring for exotics including fish, reptiles, small mammals, and birds. My goal is to be a resource to busy pet owners who want their dogs to have fun, get spoiled, have an adventure, and receive extra special care— no matter what else you might have on your plate! *Note for special needs pet owners: I'm experienced with administering oral & topical medications, as well as administering subcutaneous injections, caring for pets with food/environmental allergies, mobility issues, pain conditions, and more. I am currently available for drop-in visits, walks, and training/socialization sessions during daytime and evening hours, including last-minute bookings. Apologies, but I am not accepting reservations for boarding or overnight pet-sitting at this time. As a professional with experience in animal shelters and zoos, animal health & safety are my top priority, along with the behavioral & emotional well-being of the animals in my care. I utilize science-based, fear-free training and handling methods.
