“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve worked in animal care for years now and have taken care of my own pets for years before that. I have experience with a huge variety of sizes and breeds! I’m well versed in animal behavior and temperaments. I’ve worked with puppies all the way up to senior pets who may need a little extra care or attention. I have my own pets as well and have a deep understanding how much they can mean to us. I’m currently working on my certificate for dog grooming! I have yet to start school but this is a dream I’ve had for a while now. At the moment, I’m almost completely open for sitting. I think enrichment is very important for pets. For dogs, getting outside is a must. Many breeds require a lot of stimulation throughout the day in order to stay healthy in mind and body alike. For cats, some are independent players and toys are a must. Others may like to play with a person and that’s an activity that’s very important for them. I personally feed my animals once in the morning, once at night. My dog typically gets at least one walk a day and I make sure to take him out 2-3 times a day for potty breaks. Or even more if he lets me know he has to go. My one cat is an independent player so I leave her toys in her favorite places.

About: Hi, my name is Maddie, I’ve been caring of animals for as long as I can remember! I have watched friends and families dogs over the last several years, as well as taking care of my own dogs and cats since I was little. I have a big fenced in yard, and sweet dogs, eager to meet some new friends to play with! We do not have crates at my home, but always welcome to stay consistent with your preference of crate training if necessary!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I have raised and trained my own puppy once I moved out on my own. I have also had experience and patience with senior dogs as well. I love animals and would love to help out another pet owner in my down time! I do work full time, so I am not available 24/7 but I am always willing to schedule ahead of time. I am willing to travel and pup sit in any location. I also have a 6ft tall fenced in yard of my own. I do not smoke or have any allergies so being in someone else’s home is no concerns of mine.

About: I've been taking care of neighbors' pets since before I remember. I'm patient and also love to play. Whatever your pets need I'm here to serve! I am currently part time at my farm job. My schedule is relatively flexible. No blackout days or dates in my schedule. Moved to Aurora suburbs but still available for sitting jobs in Chicago I will ask for their typical schedule for walks and eating. I only pet sit in your home to try and keep the dog/ cats better adjusted to your absence. We don't want to have them feeling too anxious!
