“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

We usually spend the majority of the trip worrying about and missing them. We had never used Rover before and had concerns with the idea of allowing a stranger in our home (much less carrying for our “children”). Once we did the meet and greet and saw how well our babies took to Phoebe, we knew they were in the best of hands. She took care of every detail including 7 litter boxes (yes, SEVEN LITTER BOXES) and still made time to play with them with their favorite toy and send photos. About: Hi, my name is Erin, and I have been around dogs since the day I was born. I have dog sat many different breeds for my neighbors and family friends. I worked at a dog groomer's as a bather and learned so much about taking care of dogs. The most important lesson I learned during that experience is that patience and kindness are key when interacting with a new dog. Having these two skills is especially important for taking care of senior dogs and nervous dogs. I also learned that a dog experiences the world through their nose. With that knowledge, I always make sure to include sniffing time on walks. Taking different paths and experiencing new smells keeps their mind active and makes the walk 10 times better. I use all of my knowledge to make sure that each walk is a fun and rewarding experience. I can't wait to meet your pup! For the next few months, I will be on summer break. I only work on the weekends and have always wanted to give Rover a try to meet some new furry friends and help them exercise! I will have plenty of free time during the week, but I am willing to chat to see what works best for you and your dog! I have two dogs whom I love to take on walks in my free time. I always make sure to have two hands on the leash at all times when walking both of my dogs. My older dog (110 lb) is quite reactive and could try to chase something at any moment, so I need to be prepared. My younger dog (70 lb) is very sweet and relaxed on walks and not reactive to other dogs or people; however, he is very skittish around loud noises. If he gets frightened, he may try to run and hide, so keeping two hands on the leash is crucial. I never push my puppies beyond their limit, especially if it is hot outside. Their health and safety are always a concern.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a small child. Animals of all kinds are gifts to be cherished! I treat them like they are my own babies. I am comfortable with animals of all types! I can stay at your home on weekends and provide constant care for your pets while you’re away! I am happy to get up throughout the night if your pets require it. I am flexible in providing whatever care your animals require at your home. I will play with them, tend to their feeding, grooming, and bathrooming needs and can assist with medical care.

About: I’ve cared for and trained my own dogs, mostly focusing on basic obedience like sit, stay, lay down, speak, crate training, and name recall. I use positive reinforcement and food motivation, and I try to stay consistent with routines so pets understand what’s expected. I’m comfortable with daily care like feeding, walking, potty breaks, and keeping pets on a schedule. I’m patient and focused on making sure pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I currently work part-time, so I’m available for house sitting on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. During those days, I have plenty of time to stick to your pet’s routine, that means feeding, walks, playtime, etc. Im often available after work as well to provide any small quick services like walks! I follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and routines. I make sure pets get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship so they don’t feel stressed or alone while their owner is away. I also treat the client’s home with respect, keeping it clean and secure, and making sure everything is left as it was when I arrived. My goal is to create a calm, reliable environment where both the pet and the owner feel at ease.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I have raised and trained my own puppy once I moved out on my own. I have also had experience and patience with senior dogs as well. I love animals and would love to help out another pet owner in my down time! I do work full time, so I am not available 24/7 but I am always willing to schedule ahead of time. I am willing to travel and pup sit in any location. I also have a 6ft tall fenced in yard of my own. I do not smoke or have any allergies so being in someone else’s home is no concerns of mine.
