“Lauchlan was flexible & prompt with her drop in visits. She was very attentive to my concerns with my cat while I was away. She kept me informed while I was away and tried engaging my cat with activity. My cat is cautious with strangers, but Lauchlan played with her and was very determined to establish a connection with her, even laying on the floor. Lauchlan knows the signs a pet will show when they are feeling stressed / anxiety, which I was concerned about. She kept me informed of her overall well being while I was gone, which made me feel good! I had only booked 3 days of visits, but Lauchlan was developing a connection with her. I would highly recommend Lauchlan and will definitely reach out to her again if I'm in the need of a sitter! Little Momma & I Thank you for your caring visits!”

“Milo and Buddy were well-cared for and happy to see Balbina at every visit. We especially loved the little song she composed for their last visit (even though they both look unimpressed in the video, they really secretly loved it!). Balbina will be our first choice next time we need her help!”

“First time using rover, Jessi was wonderful! We needed a sitter last minute when ours fell through, Jessi made things really easy. She sent wonderful updates and photos letting us know how everything was going consistently and with great care! We will definitely use Jessi in the future! Would highly recommend.”

“Emma did an excellent job caring for our dog Dante! She was great with him and was very attentive to his needs and well-being. We were very happy with the service she provided our family in taking care of our Dog.”

About: I loved animals all my life! I have fostered and adopted cats and dogs for over 10 years. I work from home and I am in tune with my animals and understand their needs. I have a two story home about 2300 square feet and a half acre fenced in yard for activities. Your pet will be welcome as an honorary member to my pack. For the privacy and safety of my family and the pets in my care, I do not offer tours inside my home. I am happy to provide photos, videos, and answer any questions before booking. Communication & Updates I know how important it is to feel connected while you’re away. I provide a daily update with photos each evening (typically between 5–9 PM) so you can see how your dog’s day went. If you’d ever like a quick check-in during the day, you’re always welcome to message me and I’ll respond as soon as I’m available. Because I focus on hands-on care for the dogs in my home, updates are typically sent once daily rather than throughout the entire day. I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule in order to meet pet care needs. If you have a specific schedule, please include it in your reservation so I can accommodate your best needs. I have a large fenced in yard, great for a high energy pack. I can also crate your dog, and I am very accommodating to their normal routine. *I secure each dog for feeding due to allergies and/or medications. *Important to also note, I will have to secure animals while I am performing another meet and greet or if an animal is arriving/departing from my home. *Please show proof of vaccination records and preventative medications like flea, tick, and heartworm before boarding. For the privacy and safety of my family and the pets in my care, I do not offer tours inside my home. I am happy to provide photos, videos, and answer any questions before booking.
“Erin is great. One of the cats gets anxious when we leave and had a couple of accidents outside the litter box. Erin was so kind and understanding. She is the best. I feel so at ease watching my babies. I would highly recommend Erin.”

“Ally was just perfect. We had a great experience. She completed all that was requested to ensure our first session went smoothly. We had peace of mind knowing that our cat was well cared for.”

“Truly the gold standard of cat sitters! Caitlin was absolutely amazing from start to finish!!! Her communication was fantastic—so many thoughtful updates, pictures, and videos that made being away completely stress-free. She went above and beyond in every way, even taking care of things like the garbage and checking in on the house without being asked. Very impressively, she built a genuine relationship with our shy cat (which is no small feat!). It was clear our cat felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. We will be booking Caitlin again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Thank you Shannon for taking care of Milo and Chief this week! Your promptness and reliability really relieved worry for me on how long the dogs would be in the crates without a break. I appreciate the daily walks! Thanks again! You’re definitely recommend and I’ll reach out to you again when needed!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for about 10 years. I have professional experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes in a dog daycare, and as a dog trainer. I am currently working as an adjunct college instructor, so I have periodic points throughout days and weekends that I can visit dogs for walks, potty breaks, and play time. My approach to pet care and training is based around Grisha Stewart's approach. I believe establishing trust, positive reinforcement, and providing healthy mental and physical exercise according to your dog's individual needs is the best approach to keeping a happy companion.
About: Ace Avelis (He/Him)- I've had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember, whether they're furry, scaly, or somewhere in between! Growing up with animals of all kinds taught me how to care for all kinds of personalities, from playful pups to laid back loungers. I truly love pets of every kind and would be honored to meet and care for your precious companion! As I work toward a degree in animal behavior, I also care for pets full-time in order to pursue my passion. I’m proud to offer high-quality, attentive care, including overnight stays and 24-hour companionship for pets who prefer not to be alone. I take the time to really get to know each pet and what makes them feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether your furry friend is shy and needs a gentle approach, or bursting with energy and ready to play, I’m here for it! I always come prepared with the essentials like a backup leash, waste bags, and owner-approved treats. And if your pet loves to cuddle, my lap is always open for snuggles and companionship.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals and my genuine love for pets. I’ve had dogs since I was a child and currently have two cats of my own, so I understand the unique needs and personalities of both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, and I know how important it is to maintain their routines and make them feel safe while their owners are away. I am dependable, attentive to details, and will treat your pets with the same care and affection I give my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m a speech therapist by trade in the school system. I am off for the summer and my schedule is wide open. I can accommodate your schedule. I treat every pet as if they were my own and tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and a safe, clean environment. I follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, and special care requests provided by the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular updates, photos, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of affection while respecting both the pet’s needs and the client’s home.
About: As a former elementary teacher, patience, consistency, and attentiveness are at the core of how I care for animals. I grew up with dogs and have spent years caring for a variety of pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I currently share my home with three rescue dogs: an Australian Cattle Dog, a Pomsky, and a Pomeranian mix along with two rescue cats, two Green Cheek Conures, and two lovebirds. My oldest conure is 12 years old, giving me extensive experience with long-term bird care as well. Two of my dogs have earned their AKC Novice Trick Dog titles and are trained in agility, so I’m comfortable working with active, intelligent dogs and reinforcing training routines. I also understand the importance of mental stimulation, structure, and positive reinforcement. Because my own pets are rescues, I’m especially patient with shy, anxious, or sensitive animals and work hard to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable care and give pets the time and attention they deserve. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine with my own dogs, cats, and birds, so I’m experienced with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training reinforcement, and providing companionship throughout the day. As I transition into pet care and training full-time, I’m excited to dedicate even more of my time to working with animals and helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their families are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, safe, and positive experience while their family is away. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially those who may be anxious or sensitive to changes. I do not bring my own pets with me or care for other clients’ pets in my home, which allows me to give your pets my full attention and helps reduce stress and safety concerns. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, exercise routines, training cues, and any household preferences provided by the owner. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos to help pet parents feel connected and reassured while they’re away.
“Sandra has walked our boys twice now and her service is top-notch. After our meet and greet in person with the pups, you could tell she takes a gentle, confident approach with all dogs. The two visits with our boys has been excellent. I would highly recommend Sandra to everyone.”

“Carly is super sweet! This first meeting was a meet and greet- more for our GSD to get to know Carly. Carly was on time and was so relaxed meeting our pup that Mella sat on her feet within minutes and actually fell asleep while Carly was there. I look forward to having Carly as our go-to sitter moving forward.”

Oswego cat parents share their Rover experiences
We needed help to give medication to our cats when I travel for work — basically my husband would need a second person/set of hands to corral and then hold the cats while he gives them pills. Lauchlan was amazing. Our cats loved her which made the whole process go smoothly and less stressful for the cats. I would definitely book again with Lauchlan.
