When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their regular routine to keep things comfortable and stress-free. I make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes or potty breaks are handled, and I spend quality time playing, brushing, or just giving attention. I also send photo and message updates each visit so owners can see how their pets are doing while they’re away. When I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, cozy, and safe space where they’re treated like part of the family. I stick closely to their usual feeding and care schedule, offer plenty of playtime and cuddles, and make sure they feel loved and secure the entire time they’re with me. I do not use crates of any type in my home. Everyone gets free roam.

“Lauchlan was flexible & prompt with her drop in visits. She was very attentive to my concerns with my cat while I was away. She kept me informed while I was away and tried engaging my cat with activity. My cat is cautious with strangers, but Lauchlan played with her and was very determined to establish a connection with her, even laying on the floor.
