About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, we mainly had cats and dogs, but in recent years we have expanded to fish, birds, and frogs! At the moment, my family has 2 cats, 2 parakeets, and about a million fish. I started pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors as a kid, and now I try to pet sit whenever I am home from college. I am also the primary care taker of my little home zoo. I’m currently home for the summer, and I have really flexible hours! I have several vacations planned for the summer, so I do not currently have a job lined up, which means more time to play with your pets! I am currently not able to care for your pets in my home as my cats are not very accepting of new animals. At your home, I will work with you to learn what is best for your pets! If you have a fenced in yard, that’s great! If not, no worries.

But if needed in the morning or evening let me know! I’m always willing to negotiate a schedule to whatever is easiest for you! About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life; big medium small. I have always been able to create connections with furry friends by giving them lots of love and attention. I’m very attentive when it comes to taking care of senior dogs and their needs. As well as being just as playful as puppies are. I’m currently on summer break before I go to college to become a pediatrician. This being said, my schedule is very available for a long while! For my dog at home, I treat her like family! I walk her daily, feed her twice a day, and give her snuggles and lots of love. I take her outside in the backyard about every hour in the fenced in backyard and she’ll run around and go nuts chasing her ball, and running after rabbits.

About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I provided specific instructions and tools to help dog-sitters take care of mine, and now I would love to help take care of yours! And who best to help me do that than, well, you! I am committed to gathering and using all you can offer to ensure that while in my care, your dog's life remains as consistent as possible. And maybe, with your permission, some extra treats for good measure :) Having gotten to know and love up to 7 dogs in my family, I know firsthand that dogs have their own specific personalities to be respected and needs to be met. All of the dogs I have gotten to know in my family have been rescues so I am very experienced in meeting them where they're at in terms of past trauma and comfort levels. And yes, I will gladly send you as many photos and videos as you'd like so you never feel too far away from baby <3 Right now, my schedule is very flexible and can be fit around your dog's needs and routines! I could certainly use a bit more exercise :) At the end of the day, it is your dog and your home so I will follow your lead on how to provide the most comfortable and safe environment and experience while your dog is in my care. When in doubt, I feel it is best to reach out with questions or concerns that may come up. When it comes to dog-sitting, no instructions can be too specific.

About: We have collective pet parent experience of over 40 years and have loved and cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs and even beared dragons. Personally, I previously worked at PetCo in addition to volunteering with PAWS Chicago. In both roles I received extensive training in caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. Currently, I work from home full time with a ton of flexibility and plenty of time to devote to additional fur babies. I work from home full time Monday thru Friday and have complete flexibility. Meaning I have time and energy for plenty of walks, playing in the park, or even just lounging in the yard. I own my home and have plenty of space to care for animals. As the mother to a toddler, our home has already been child proofed (cabinets locked, large furniture anchored, Simplisafe home security, etc.) Importantly, our yard is fenced in completely with vinyl fencing that is only a couple years old (but tried and true).
