About: Hi! I’m Jenny, a lifelong dog lover who truly believes our pets are part of the family. 🐾 I’m a caring, responsible, and attentive pet sitter who would love the opportunity to care for your dog while you’re away or give them some extra love and exercise during the day. I’m also a proud dog mom to two dogs of my own. A Great Dane and a Lab/Pit mix! Having dogs with very different personalities, sizes, and energy levels has given me plenty of hands-on experience understanding that every dog has their own unique needs and routine. I offer drop-in visits, dog walks & house sitting, and I’m happy to tailor my care to your dog’s individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup loves a long walk, needs some playtime and attention, or simply wants someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand how important it is to feel confident when someone else is caring for your pet. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages during each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is doing well. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m happy to follow specific feeding, walking, medication, or care instructions. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! 🐶❤️ Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine since I have two dogs of my own, a Great Dane and a Lab/Pit mix. I’m used to staying on a consistent schedule with walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting, and I’m able to plan my week around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and schedule. I care for every pet as if they were my own, while making sure to follow their normal routine and any specific instructions from their owner. I have two dogs of my own so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. For drop-in visits and walks, I focus on making sure pets get the exercise, attention, potty breaks, food, and fresh water they need. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and will always keep them clean and secure. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Laura answered right away when I needed a dog walker last minute because of an emergency situation. She stopped by and met my dog 6 hours before his walk and even walked him later in the night to accommodate his needs. Wonderful job!”

About: I have had pets throughout my life from guinea pigs and cats to dogs and bunnies. I currently lift spirits at an assistant living facility weekly with our family dog, Bandit. I’ve been called an animal whisperer. Anxious to meet your pets and spend some time with them. I am currently retired and although I will have a few block out dates, my schedule is usually very flexible. I still enjoy working some and want to add animals to my day. I can drop in your home to check on, feed, give some attention to, let out and/or walk your dog. Same gentle friendly care for other domestic animals too
About: What sets me apart is my ability to provide both a structured routine and a nurturing environment tailored to your dog’s unique personality. As a dedicated pet caregiver, I specialize in providing peace of mind through consistent communication and attentive, individualized care. Whether it’s managing medication schedules for senior dogs with special needs or providing the patience and energy required for training young puppies, I approach every visit with the same level of care I would give my own family. You can rest easy knowing your pet is not just watched, but truly supported, engaged, and safe while you are away. My priority is making your dog feel like they are in their own home, which is why my remote work setup is such an asset to my pet care. I am fully available throughout the workday to monitor, nurture, and engage with your pet, ensuring they are never just 'watched'—they are cared for. Whether your dog needs extra help with potty training, consistent medical monitoring, or just someone to keep them company while they nap, my schedule ensures they receive constant, attentive, and loving supervision. Consistency is the foundation of my pet care philosophy. Whether at my place or yours, I maintain your pet's exact daily schedule—from precise meal times and medication administration to familiar walk routes and bedtime routines. In my home, this means a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where your pet can easily settle in. In your home, I provide reliable, respectful, and attentive care, ensuring your house stays secure and your dog’s routine remains completely uninterrupted.
“Caitlin is so amazing with my dog Alabama. From the first time they met it was an instant connection. You can tell how much she really cares for animals. My cats love her too!”

“Morgan is great with our family dog she comes Monday through Friday to walk her and Lola is so excited to see her. She wipes her off when it rains and fills her water bowl. My parents are senior citizens so it helps so much having her assist with Lola!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first pet was actually a hermit crab that I got when I was around five years old, and since then I’ve always loved caring for animals. When I was around 12, my family adopted a 5-year-old Golden Retriever, which was my first real experience helping take care of a dog. As a teenager, I volunteered at my local humane society where I helped walk dogs and spent time playing with them so they could get some exercise and attention. As an adult, I’ve continued caring for animals by helping watch dogs and cats for family and friends, along with raising pets of my own. I currently have two 8-year-old cats that I adopted from a shelter when they were about 5 months old. I also had two guinea pigs who lived long, happy lives. So at one point I was caring for four small animals at once, which could definitely be a challenge sometimes, but it was also such a rewarding experience. It taught me a lot about patience, routines, and how every animal has their own personality and needs. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I always do my best to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I'm currently working part-time so have plenty of time available to help care for pets. Pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine because I can plan most of my schedule around the pets I’m caring for. I always care for pets according to the owner’s instructions and preferences. I want pets to feel comfortable and maintain the routine they’re used to, so I always do my best to honor whatever the owner asks and care for their pet as if they were my own.
“Erin was wonderful with my dog Bailey and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog can be anxious/reactive at times, and Erin was calm, patient, and very experienced with her. I really appreciated the updates and photos after visits. I will absolutely book with her again!”

“Amelia did an excellent job taking care of our dog while we were out of town. She was punctual, reliable, and kept us updated throughout. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Kari is really good with interacting with my dog. My Bichon is elderly and very set in her ways. Kari shows an extreme amount of patience which makes me very comfortable trusting her with Lara (Bichon).”

About: I have had dogs since I was born. But I love all and any animals to be honest. I was raised with Dalmatians. When I got my home it was the first best friend I got. Gavin. He was the best🥰 Since then I have loved a Cavalier named Rusty who passed in August. He had non mobile back legs, so I have experience in senior dogs and handicap dogs. My dogs have all lived to old age. I have experience with oral medication and shots. I regularly will watch friends and family dogs as well. My extended pet family includes a Husky, German Shepard, Labradoodle and a couple cats🤣 I work only 5 minutes from home. A regular day for me and my Cavalier was breakfast and walk about 7am, home for lunch and walk about 11:30. After work we go out again, watch some tv or read a book. Dinner. And one more potty break before bed. I have a very calm and quiet environment for pets. I would make sure to find out what your pet is used to and try to stick to what they are comfortable with. Routine is very important to pets. Owner permitting, if your dog is pretty calm and friendly, they are welcome to come hang out at work with me as well!! My home is a calm and quiet environment. Multiple walks a day. I love walking myself and I do not have a fenced yard. I do have a backyard area where outside play is provided. Play time inside is all up to what your pet feels like doing. I’m up for a good game of tug anytime they are!!
“Lluvya was a blessing to have during my time in Champaign. She was very professional & went out of her way to ensure my bingo was taken care of and that was getting the best treatment possible! Would book again! Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wolfs
Maryna did an amazing job pet sitting for our pup. She spent over an hour on the first day allowing our dog to get used to her. She was on time each day twice a day to walk our dog and made sure she had plenty of snacks. We really appreciate the updates while we were out and will definitely look to rebook in the future. Thanks again for the care you shared to our dog!!!

We had a meet and greet with Lynnette before her booked walk with Cooper and we knew she would be great! She was attentive and caring in a way that immediately put us at ease. Cooper was relaxed, happier, and clearly excited for every walk. The updates we received were thoughtful and detailed, often including little observations that reassured us our dog is in great hands. What really stands out is the level of trust Lynnette inspired. It’s not easy handing over your pet to someone new, but she exceeded every expectation. Punctual, communicative, and clearly passionate about dogs, we could not have asked for a better experience! We're lucky to have found Lynnette and couldn’t recommend them more highly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
