About: Hi, my name is Erin, and I have been around dogs since the day I was born. I have dog sat many different breeds for my neighbors and family friends. I worked at a dog groomer's as a bather and learned so much about taking care of dogs. The most important lesson I learned during that experience is that patience and kindness are key when interacting with a new dog. Having these two skills is especially important for taking care of senior dogs and nervous dogs. I also learned that a dog experiences the world through their nose. With that knowledge, I always make sure to include sniffing time on walks. Taking different paths and experiencing new smells keeps their mind active and makes the walk 10 times better. I use all of my knowledge to make sure that each walk is a fun and rewarding experience. I can't wait to meet your pup! For the next few months, I will be on summer break. I only work on the weekends and have always wanted to give Rover a try to meet some new furry friends and help them exercise! I will have plenty of free time during the week, but I am willing to chat to see what works best for you and your dog! I have two dogs whom I love to take on walks in my free time. I always make sure to have two hands on the leash at all times when walking both of my dogs. My older dog (110 lb) is quite reactive and could try to chase something at any moment, so I need to be prepared. My younger dog (70 lb) is very sweet and relaxed on walks and not reactive to other dogs or people; however, he is very skittish around loud noises. If he gets frightened, he may try to run and hide, so keeping two hands on the leash is crucial. I never push my puppies beyond their limit, especially if it is hot outside. Their health and safety are always a concern.

About: Hi there! We’re Colleen and Ryan — a huge animal-loving family from Aurora, Illinois. We both grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and truly can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, we’ve cared for pets of all sizes, from 10-lb lap dogs to 115-lb gentle giants! We live in a house with a large fenced-in yard that’s perfect for playtime, walks, and fetch. Our two boys (ages 6 and 8) are just as kind and gentle with animals as we are — they’ve grown up learning how to love and care for pets. Our furry family currently includes our playful labradoodle, Skye, our spirited chihuahua, Nacho, and our two brother cats, Pete and Steve — who basically think they’re dogs and love to join in on the fun! About: I have had dogs since I was born. But I love all and any animals to be honest. I was raised with Dalmatians. When I got my home it was the first best friend I got. Gavin. He was the best🥰 Since then I have loved a Cavalier named Rusty who passed in August. He had non mobile back legs, so I have experience in senior dogs and handicap dogs. My dogs have all lived to old age. I have experience with oral medication and shots. I regularly will watch friends and family dogs as well. My extended pet family includes a Husky, German Shepard, Labradoodle and a couple cats🤣 I work only 5 minutes from home. A regular day for me and my Cavalier was breakfast and walk about 7am, home for lunch and walk about 11:30. After work we go out again, watch some tv or read a book. Dinner. And one more potty break before bed. I have a very calm and quiet environment for pets. I would make sure to find out what your pet is used to and try to stick to what they are comfortable with. Routine is very important to pets. Owner permitting, if your dog is pretty calm and friendly, they are welcome to come hang out at work with me as well!! My home is a calm and quiet environment. Multiple walks a day. I love walking myself and I do not have a fenced yard. I do have a backyard area where outside play is provided. Play time inside is all up to what your pet feels like doing. I’m up for a good game of tug anytime they are!!

They both seemed tired at the end of the day. And they welcomed Baxter into their home with open arms right away. “Leslie was amazing!!! It was obvious right away that my dogs loved her. She was so good with Molly and Bear, whether it was playtime or snuggle time. And she was absolutely wonderful about keeping us updated regularly! It’s hard to leave my pups, but her updates and pictures made it a lot easier. Leslie really cares for your pups. She is truly wonderful.”

She is extremely reliable, flexible, loving and affordable! Her and her family take such great care of your fur babies while you're away. We ended up booking with her last minute as our previous booking with another sitter canceled the night before we were leaving for our trip due to an emergency. I will say, we lucked up on Kimberly. Our 8yr old golden doodle got in walks, treats, chew toys, fun with her dogs, and lounge time. Our dog was happy and energetic when we picked him up. I would definitely recommend Kimberly. If her availability is open, we will book with her again.”

“Kayla is an absolute gem! We were out of town for almost 2 weeks, and understandably nervous to leave our fur baby. Our family and Dash got to meet Kayla and her family before we left; everyone immediately felt at ease. Both Kayla and her family are dog lovers, and it shows! Dash was so well loved on! Kayla kindly sent us pics each day (even though we did not ask), so we could so how Dash was doing. Our kiddos looked forward to these pics and videos, and they helped us all have a vacation for the memory books! Thank you Kayla for loving on Dash just as much as we could hope for!”

“I have used Erin twice now for boarding my dog, Maverick. She is so kind and really cares for animals and treats them like they are all her own. My dog is very high energy and needs a lot of exercise and playtime. Erin takes them out and really gives them so much exercise and mental stimulation. She has a lot of experience with all dog breeds and all ages. Maverick has so much fun while with Erin and he gets the socialization he needs with other dogs. I know he is in good hands with Erin and I am so happy I found her. Thanks for all you do, Erin! 🫶🏼”
