“Nancy was wonderful. She filled in at the last minute because I had a cancellation, and her up-beat spirit helped me know she's perfect for Sadie. I really liked her. She and Sadie got along real well, and I will request her again when the opportunity presents itself. My home was perfect when we got back. Thank you for being you Nancy.”

“Sandra was amazing. She was very responsive with communication. Our girls were so well taken care of. Enjoyed seeing the pics she sent showing our happy girls. She left the house in perfect order. Will reach out to her again.”

“Kimberly took amazing care of our 2 dogs while we were away for 3 days. She sent pictures and updates daily. The dogs loved being with her and our house was very clean when we got home. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I've been a pet owner (dogs and cats) for more than 20 years. My current dogs are both rescues and each comes with their own unique personality, so I'm open to the quirks of lots of different pets. When I'm caring for your pet, they will be my only focus, and I can help with medications and whatever training you're working on with your pet family members! I'm newly retired, so I have time and flexibility to care for your pets! Just let me know what you are looking for and we'll make it work! I can walk dogs during the day or evening, and overnight house sitting with pets is right up my alley. I'll be happy to treat your pets like family. I am glad to maintain whatever routines your pet is used to, and while I'm staying at your home, I will be happy to maintain their walks, meals, snacks, medications, games, etc. I know how important trust is when inviting somebody into your home, so please feel free to share any questions you have with me.
“Kari was excellent with our two dogs. Jax is a new puppy and is in training for potty outside, Kari kept a close eye on him. She is intuitive about animals and clearly very experienced. Medicine, feeding properly, socializing of two dogs together. She sent me pictures of them (finally!!) playing together! My older dog is very attached to me and the 2nd day Kari came, he was happy to see her, he obviously was treated very well and comfortable. I would recommend Kari without hesitation. Also, she is timely and communicates very well.”

“Jackson was great with our two pups and they loved having him take care of them. My one dog requires many medications and he handled all that perfectly. I will use Jackson again in the future!”
“I had a great experience with Glen as my dog sitter. He was extremely reliable and attentive, especially when it came to administering medication, including eye drops, to my dogs. Not only did he take great care of my dogs, but he also kept the house tidy. I really appreciated how he sent frequent updates and pictures of my dogs, which put my mind at ease while I was away. I would highly recommend Glen to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”
“I was hesitant since this was our first booking, but mia put me at ease right away during the meet and greet. She was responsive, communicative, and considerate. Came home to such a clean house - and happy pets! Would book again.”

“Jennifer stayed with our Lab mix Hazel for the last week and we were so happy with how things went! Hazel got lots of walks, play time, snuggles and love! She stayed in touch with us several times a day and sent pictures?. Not only did Jennifer take wonderful care of Hazel, but also took care of the mail, garbage, and pet hair - it all made our trip that much more enjoyable! We can’t wait for Jennifer to come back for our next trip!”

“We feel very fortunate to have found Lynette to dog sit during our family vacation. She took better care for our giant teddy bears than we've ever seen. She is warm, easy to work with, great with instruction follow up, and a strong communicator with regular updates for us every day. What stands out is Lynette's genuine love and attention for dogs. She noticed a growing hot spot on Archie and took extremely good care of him until we returned (preventing a vet visit by the time we were back). She also provided comfort and care for Dexter when he was nervous with continuous thunder storms. Our house was spotless when we got home which was a definitely bonus. The dogs were at ease and enjoyed their playtime with her and we had full peace of mind. We will be booking Lynette again soon!”

About: Hello, my name is Angel and I’m excited to care for your cats and dogs! I have about 6 years of experience with cats, thanks to raising and caring for my own kitty, and 2 years of experience with dogs. While cats are my specialty, I’m also eager to continue building my dog care skills and I love spending time with pups of all ages, including puppies. My goal is always to make your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable with feeding, cleaning up after them, playing, and following any specific instructions you provide. If you book dog walking, I can take your pup on walks or even light jogs for exercise. I don’t currently drive, so I may use public transit or rideshare; this means arrival times can vary slightly. Meet and greets are required so your pet and I can get comfortable first! I am currently enrolled in hybrid and online college classes, which means I have almost full availability for bookings. My schedule is flexible unless otherwise stated in advance. I care for my own kitty with lots of love and attention, and I would do the same for your lovable fur baby. Safety, trust, and a nurturing environment are always my top priorities when pet sitting.😊🤗
“Carly was absolutely fantastic! Carly communicated throughout the time I was gone and let me know how my dog was doing. My dog was super well taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. 10/10 would recommend.”

“We were nervous to leave our senior pups for the weekend but they were in great hands with Micaela. She communicated well and sent great updates. She had no problem giving them their meds & we came home to happy pups and a clean home.”

Michelle was absolutely wonderful with Lily! She stayed overnight, took excellent care of her, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She made sure Lily got plenty of walks, sent lots of adorable pictures, and kept me updated throughout her stay just as I had requested. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Michelle again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Dog Sitter – Truly the Best! We are so grateful to have found Victoria! She stayed in our home to take care of our 11‑month‑old puppy, Mert, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how caring and dedicated she is. Mert adored her right away! Victoria took Mert to the dog park every day, made sure he had plenty of playtime and cuddles, and kept his routine consistent. She looked after our home with great care, leaving everything spotless. We also loved receiving her daily updates—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Mert can’t wait to have her stay again, and neither can we. We feel incredibly lucky to have met Victoria, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Wolfs on Rover is $66.6 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,888 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wolfs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wolfs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wolfs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wolfs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wolfs. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
