13. Elena F.
About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember. We've had cats, a dog, and several guinea pigs so I am familiar with their behaviors. I've been pet sitting through Rover now for a year and I'm currently volunteering at Anderson Animal Shelter with the cats. A few years ago I volunteered in the wildlife department there and learned to feed baby birds. I have incubated three different litters of abandoned duck eggs and raised them for about a week before giving them to the shelter to live a proper duck life. I currently am not employed but I am in nursing school during the regular school year. I pretty much have open availability year round because I just commute to Waubonsee a couple times a week and have one clinical day. I make sure every animal is well cared for. I have lots of patience for animals and will do whatever is necessary to make sure they eat and go potty. It's important to me that the animals are comfortable with myself, so I will spend extra time with them in order to get them to that point.

“Erica did a fantastic job house sitting and caring for my Rosie. She set up a meet and greet prior to her stay and asked all the right questions. She was attentive to my pup’s needs and even left her a Christmas present at the end of the weekend. Erica’s communication was great and she sent lots of photos during her stay. She even took out the trash and recyclables! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.”
19. Renata H.
“Renata was great, took such a good care of our sweet Mia. Sent pictures through all the stay, great communication at all times can’t wait for her to take care of Mia again.”
20. Jennifer L.
“I found Jen Larsen by using Thumbtack. This was the first time I had used a service such as hers and was extremely pleased that my two dogs loved her immensely. We first had a meet and greet and then they spent the night at her house. I wasn't the least bit anxious of the care they would receive as Jen immediately put me at ease with her handling of my fur babies which was total personal and professional at the same time. I'm looking forward to using her again. Also, she is very reasonable with the rate she charges. All in all, a very wonderful experience.”
