“Dexter was well cared for at Jessica’s. She discovered he had an ear infection and cleaned out his ear a bit and let me know. I appreciated this. Dexter was miserable because of his ear so he didn’t really play or anything but I know he was safe and his needs were handled. My only critique is that I had to ask how he was to get the info (including about his ear) and I prefer when the sitter reaches out to tell me if something is amiss. FYI: Dexter went to the vet the day after we got back and has antibiotics now. :)”

“Keith was great, our dog was well cared for and happy while he was there. He gave us updates and sent pictures as well. He is easy to work with and very responsive. We’ll be back!”

“We boarded our 2 little guys with Rosarin for several nights and could tell they were very well cared for. We got updates via the app on their days felt relieved they were in excellent care. Would highly recommend!”

“We can't say enough good things about Jackie and her family! Frank and Homer were in the best hands while we were out of town. She sent daily updates and photos, and both dogs were happy and tired when we got home. We highly recommend Jackie to anyone in need of someone reliable and loving to care for their dog!”

“Selena was AMAZING! We have never left our 11 year old dog over night with anyone before, and we were so comfortable leaving Stella with her! She updated us many times and did great with Stella! We could tell how much Stella loved being there. Will be booking again.”

“Another great stay! Maple loves her time with Kristine and her family and they show such love for her! It does my heart good knowing I am leaving her in such good hands!”

“Eric is a great pet sitter. As soon as I met him and saw his house and yard, I just felt so calm. I knew he would take good care of my dog. She did have a bad first night but Eric took care of it with aplomb and empathy. I highly recommend Eric.”

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Tintin while I was away. Knowing that they were in your hands gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy a truly worry-free vacation. I really appreciate the updates, the kindness, and the attention you gave—it’s clear you treat pets like family. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. I would happily recommend you to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring. Thank you again for everything!”

“Kevin is the most reliable dog sitter ever! My dog was well cared for and happy. Kevin sent pictures and updates periodically while I was away. Definitely recommend his services and will definitely use again.”

“Vanessa was awesome, Winston was clearly well loved and supported during his overnight stay. It’s always a relief when I can drop him off & not worry about anything 😊 will definitely be booking again!”

“I am so happy that I found Jill. She couldn’t have been more attentive and caring, and she went “that extra mile.” Scottie was so happy when I picked him up.” It was like he never left home. Much better than leaving him in a kennel for 12 days. She truly loves dogs.”
“Scout has only been boarded with one family in the last 4 years. When they cancelled last minute Valerie jumped in with short notice and took Scout in for the weekend. She was great at communicating and sending pictures. I will absolutely use her again!”

“I highly recommend Peggy to anyone who wants someone they can trust with their pet! Prior to my dog’s stay with her, we met with her so she could ask some detailed questions about my dogs preferences and her home is “dog proof” as she says so my dog was able to explore a bit before she stayed with Peggy! Overall, Peggy was very communicative and very sweet with my dog and I felt like I was leaving my dog with a trusted friend!”

“Danielle loves animals and you can tell! She was wonderful to work with and kept us up to date on our Daisy with great photos and stories. Go with Danielle—she’s a sweetheart!”

“This was my 1st time boarding Layla. She is a rescue, and I've only had her 5 months. She can be a handful, so I was a little worried, but Morgan and Ross were great! Morgan sent lots of pictures and videos, as well as updates. Layla had a great time playing with their dogs, and seemed to settle in great. I'm sure Layla can't wait to go back...and she will be!”

“Beatrice is the best sitter i have had so far. She kept updating me with pictures of molly and how she was doing. For most of the sitters its a side thing, Beatrice does it full time and is a complete professional about it. She loves dogs, after just a 24 hour stay she told me things about my dog that took me 2 months to figure out. Keep up the good work.”

“I can’t enough AMAZING things about Megan! She has been a God-sent for our new baby Onix and she cares for him so much! She is careful with what he encounters outside and is helpful keeping consistency with us on his command words we are training him with.”

About: With extensive pet care experience, I specialize in tailored attention for all ages. I'm adept at administering daily medications, providing senior care, and nurturing kittens or puppies, among other skills and services in pet care.

About: In kennel settings I’ve worked it, I have also taken care of cats. I have my own as well. Don’t tell anyone but she’s probably the most spoiled pet in the house. I’m familiar with their behaviors and have an understanding of the care needed for them. They are our family and I’m here to take care of your fur baby in a way that shows that.
“Ollie LOVED all of the attention from Kate & kids. While he is a social cat, he doesn’t usually take so quickly to new people. Callie still seemed calmer when I came home than when they are left 100% alone. I do think that while she stays under the bed, she appreciates the brief attention (and fresh food/water)”

“Lori has been an amazing caretaker and companion for Sabrina and River over a two month period I was away from my home. Her kindness to me and my fur babies gave me security and comfort while being away for so long.”

“Cristal was very caring and took good care of my cats. This was my first time leaving them with a cat sitter so I was a bit anxious. The daily pictures she sent took away all my worries!”

“Elena was awesome! My kitties warmed up to her right away, even my skittish girl let Elena pet her in record time! She was communicative and so helpful when I was gone. She made me feel safe leaving my babies in her care. I highly recommend her for all your pet care needs!”

“Melanie was excellent! She was reliable and kept me up to date on when she was planning to arrive and after she completed her visit. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Ally was just perfect. We had a great experience. She completed all that was requested to ensure our first session went smoothly. We had peace of mind knowing that our cat was well cared for.”

“Last minute booking for my two cats. Very friendly, and accommodating- checked on my pets and played with them, sent photo updates. Awesome communication and put my mind at ease! Would recommend!”

“Tami talked me through a first time visit and made me feel so comfortable! Our dog ABSOLUTELY loved her, and she sent pictures and messages the whole time she was there. The best we could ask for as first time users, and will be using again!”

“Our dog had a wonderful day with Donna and her dog, which included plenty of outdoor play. Donna is patient, calm, and genuinely cares about dogs. We are happy that we found Donna and are looking forward to more visits in the near future.”

“So incredible! She is very attentive and responsive! We got video and photo updates throughout the day which made me know our dogs were well taken care of! Our dogs came home happy and tired! There is honestly nothing better than that. Cannot recommend Vanessa enough!!”

“My pup is normally very shy and takes him time warming up, but he loved Rosarin right away! He took treats (which never happens), enjoyed a nice long walk with her, and spent some time hanging out with her dog. Rosarin is great with animals, and she shared lots of helpful insights and cute pics/videos. Fantastic sitter, will use her again in a heartbeat!”
“Pallavi did a fantastic job caring for our 18- month old Goldendoodle ,Bruce. She is very flexible and accommodated our last minute reservation. She made sure Bruce was comfortable and provided regular updates and shared photos.”

“Jackie was phenomenal. I reached out pretty last minute with a request that wasn’t exactly simple—she had to pick Ghost up from his training facility (not from me) and coordinate all of that seamlessly. On top of that, she even helped me sort out a small payment detail on Rover to make sure everything reflected correctly, which she absolutely didn’t have to do. She was super responsive, easy to work with, and just handled everything without friction. And the best part—Ghost lit up the second he saw her again after a few months, which tells you everything you need to know. Somehow she manages all of this while caring for multiple dogs at once and raising a young family, which honestly makes it even more impressive. Highly recommend giving Jackie a shot.”

About: Hi all! I’ve watched dogs and cats of all breeds and all ages for 10+ years! I am happy to watch your babies in your home or mine. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run! I work remotely, so I’m home all day to spend time with your dog! I typically work out in the living room so I’ll be around. At my place, your dog can enjoy a fenced-in yard for safe, fun playtime. I’m all about keeping routines, so if your dog is used to crating, I’m happy to do that too.
About: Hello! I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I have been caring for animals my whole life, including my own pets and also dogs I foster for a local rescue. I would love to care for your furry family member as well. As a Type-A personality and a mother of 3 humans and 3 dogs, I am very organized, reliable, detail-oriented, caring, and trustworthy. I work from home part-time in the photography industry and would love to help you add to the adorable photos of your pet while they are in my care, if you would like! I have a Masters Degree in Higher Education and a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship, both at Illinois State University. I did my business plan on a doggy day care and when I was a kid I wanted to be a vet, so as you can see...caring for animals has been in my blood from a young age! Several of my animals have had special needs or are prone to injury, so I have LOTS of experience in that regard. My vet can vouch for the fact that I would make a great vet tech. Blood and other bodily fluids do not phase me and I am cool as a cucumber under pressure (I've dealt with two dogs with broken legs, two dog strokes, cancer, many a laceration, a diabetic cat, and a dog with no eyes.) I also have fostered several puppies and love their puppy breath! Happy to help care for the youngest of your pets as well. I work from home part-time during typical business hours and cart my kids to and from their activities. My spare time is spent caring for your furry friends! Whether I am coming into your home or your pets are coming into mine, your pets and property will be treated with the utmost care and consideration. I will provide the excellent service I expect for pet sitters for my own family dogs and nothing less. Safety and security are also top of mind and, with my high attention to detail, nothing will be missed. Pets in my home will be treated like family. We have 2 retired racing greyhounds who are loving, calm, and kind, as well as a foster-fail super mutt who loves to play and keep our house safe from chipmunks and mail carriers. I have three kids (12, 10, and 7) who all have extensive experience with dogs and who will help me respectfully love on your pet while you are away. We have a LARGE fenced in yard with lots of little critters to sniff after and plenty of room to run. We live in a pet-friendly cul-du-sac with several dogs and chickens next door.
About: I Take a Personalized Approach and Maintain Constant Communication I don’t treat all pets the same. I carefully assess the behavior of each animal, understanding that an adult dog has different needs than an energetic puppy or a shy cat. Before accepting any booking, I conduct a detailed consultation to learn about your pet’s routine, fears, favorite activities, and specific medical needs. In addition, I provide regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know how your pet is doing. I don’t just say, “They’re doing fine.” I’ll tell you how well they ate, how much they played, and how their walk went, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. My time management and the way I integrate pet care into my daily routine are designed to ensure consistency and individualized attention, as your pet’s routine is essential to their well-being. In summary, my schedule is built around reliability, consistency, and controlled flexibility, ensuring that your pet’s care fits seamlessly into my day without ever feeling rushed or stressful. ● Home-Like Environment, No Crates: My home is fully pet-proofed and designed to make pets feel like they’re in a second home. Pets live alongside me and are never confined to a crate unless specifically requested by the owner. ● 24/7 Supervision: Pets staying in my home receive constant supervision. I only leave for very short, planned periods, and only when the pet is comfortable, safe, and secure. ● Small Group Care: I accept only a limited number of pets at a time to ensure each one receives individualized attention and that the environment remains calm, safe, and manageable. ● Secure Exercise Area: My home features a securely fenced yard where pets can enjoy supervised playtime and socialization (with the owner's approval and if the pet enjoys interacting with others). In summary, I choose the care option that best meets your pet’s emotional and physical needs—whether that means the comfort of staying in their own home or the constant supervision and companionship offered in mine.
About: ** I took some time off of Rover and I am back with a limited schedule due to work hours** I am an avid dog lover and dog mom to 2 pups. Most of my life has revolved around dogs and I wouldn’t want it any other way! At a young age, I was trusted by all of the nieghbors to dog sit. After college, I was fortunate enough to foster a few rescues from a local humane society. Fostering dogs was a very rewarding experience as it gave me my 2 babies, Milo and Bear. Unfortunately, Bear and Milo have now passed and I miss them terribly everyday. I currently have a Doberman named Ambrose and an Australian Shepard named Max. They are a bonded pair and have so much energy! I have experience with very large dogs and puppies as young as 2 months old— but I am comfortable with all breeds! I am available for dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. If you would like me to board your dog in my home, I welcome that as well! As long as they are dog friendly; my pups would love a new friend 😊 During the day on weekdays I work a full-time hybird job with flexibility. My in office days are Monday and Tuesday so usually unavailable those days. I am free for walks/drop ins during the week/weekend as well as house sitting. I am a very active person alone and with my own dogs. They get walks 1-2x per day and get lots of exercise in our backyard. I would love to hang out with your pup and play! I will come to you to make them feel more comfortable in their own environment.
“Max had a wonderful time spending the day with Roger and his two dogs. Roger provided many pictures and a great summary of Max's time spent there. Highly recommend.”

“This was my first time taking my little Mollie to Stepfanie. It was a very positive day. Mollie was loved on and I don’t think she e wanted to leave. I will definitely use her again.”

“Maria has been a LIFE SAVER for me. I work full time in Chicago and I needed someone who was able to take my dog M-F but I didn't want to bring my dog to an impersonal day care. That's when I found Maria. I really love that Oliver (my dog) is safe in Maria's home and also able to go to the dog park everyday. When I pick him up he is a very happy and tired dog! I could not have asked for a better situation and we consider Maria part of the family. She treats my dog as if he was her own and for that I am so thankful.”

About: My pet sitting experience dates back to when I was 10 years old. I would take care of neighbors, friends, and family pets. Whether they were dogs or cats, big or small, I’ve done it all! Growing up I’ve had cats, but since last year I’ve been the proud fur mom to a sweet golden retriever. Prior to getting him, I worked for Wag! and would do dog walks and drop-in visits. I’m a full time nurse working 4 days a week, but I have one day off during the week to help and I’m free most weekends! If booking for boarding, my husband works from home so someone is always home with your pet. In my home, I have the sweetest Golden Retriever who likes to befriend every dog (and human!). My yard is fully fenced, and I have a large crate available as needed.

“Grace was amazing handling my German Shepard, My dog is sweet but can be intimidating. He is strong and will bark at other dogs on walks so I always worry a little if people will be comfortable walking him. Grace was awesome with him and put me at ease. I’m so glad I found her to help me out and would use her again!”

“Jackie is the best! She continues to take great care of our dog every time she visits and makes sure he has everything he needs while we are gone! We are so grateful for her!”

“This is our second booking with Valerie, and we are so grateful to have a dog walker we trust. She always takes great care of our pup and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!”

About: After traveling thousands of miles and leaving my home country, I also had to leave my little pet in the care of the most important person in my life, my mom. My dog has always been my greatest emotional support, and being apart from him inspired me to stay connected to the love, energy, and purity that pets bring into our lives. I want to care for your pets as if they were my own, giving them all the affection, attention, and respect they deserve. I am currently dedicating myself full-time to pet care. This allows me to be 100% available to take care of your pets throughout the week. For now, I’m available 24/7 and fully committed to giving them the attention and care they need. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness while in your home. I ensure they’re in a familiar environment, maintaining their routine to reduce any stress. During walks, I always use secure leashes, stay alert to surroundings, and avoid potential hazards. I respect your home, following any specific guidelines you provide, and ensure your pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. My goal is to create a trustworthy and safe experience for both you and your furry friend!
About: I’ve loved animals ever since i was young, I got my first cat at 7. He was my personal cat that I had to take care of on my own! Ever since then i’ve had 3 cats, and 4 dogs! I’ve loved them all equally as my own and rehoused all of them to very safe environments! I currently have a 9 month old female doberman who is so well trained and such a good girl! I’m currently at home 24/7 so I need something to occupy my mind. When I learned about Rover, I knew i needed to sign up and care for other animals as if they were my own. I love being around fur babys. I have a gate at the top of my stairs which would stop any accidents. I always have poop and pee pads in my home just in case we don’t make it outside on time!
About: I have had at least a part in caring for dogs since I was five years old, when my family adopted our West Highland White Terrier. Since I was little, I have been a dog lover. After graduating college, I adopted my first golden retriever puppy, and I now currently have a five year old English Cream Golden Retriever. I've house trained both of my golden retrievers, and have experience with everywhere from eight week old puppies needing to be house broken through senior dogs. I make sure to take the time every day to provide both mental stimulation, and physical exercise to my own English Cream Golden Retriever, and make it a goal to always be teaching him a new trick. Whether you're looking for someone to play with/walk your fur baby, or if you're looking for him/her to have a safe place to stay while you're away, I will always make sure to provide them the same care and love like I would my own. I work from home full time with a flexible schedule, so I am able to take time regularly throughout the day and night to play, walk, and let your pup run around in the backyard. I have a fenced in back yard and a five year old English Cream Golden Retriever (and all of his toys) to keep your fur baby occupied.
About: I’ve handled pets of my own and have provided at home care for friends or family members my whole life. When needed I’ve boarded animals at my own home for friends or family. There’s nothing like a good break with furry friends that helps the day go by. Currently I have a flexible scheduled and enjoy the opportunity. I always make sure that animals are given loving attention. It’s important that they are provided with the bathroom, sleeping and toy accommodations they deserve and the exercise they need. I understand the need for routine.

About: Hi! I’m Megan, a trail-loving mom and lifelong animal lover who finds any excuse to be outside, especially when the leaves start changing and the crisp fall air rolls in. I’ve grown up with pets, from cuddly cats to an energetic Siberian Husky who taught me all about patience, play, and the importance of a good walk! These days, I volunteer at local animal shelters and love providing thoughtful, attentive care to both dogs and cats. I know fall adventures look different for every pet, so I’m happy to adjust to their needs. Whether that means a leisurely walk through the colorful leaves, some extra playtime in the backyard, enrichment time indoors where it's cozy and comfortable, or simply some companionship while you're away, your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, a crisp fall walk, or some quality one-on-one attention, I treat every pet like family. I believe in clear communication, dependable care, and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to give them a fun, enriching experience while helping you enjoy peace of mind. I'm looking forward to making this fall full of happy walks, colorful adventures, wagging tails, and plenty of cozy memories! I’m typically available after 2:00 PM on weekdays, but there is flexibility. If you're looking for afternoon or early evening care, I’d love to help! I provide calm, loving care in your pet’s own space, keeping their routine and comfort top priority. Whether it's playtime, feedings, walks, or just quiet company, I make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and well-loved while you're away. 🧽 I also understand that accidents can happen, simple potty cleanups during a visit are always included. For larger messes that require extra time, I offer optional cleanup services: $10 Basic Cleanup: Removing soiled bedding, wiping up big pieces or puddles, and getting your pet set up with fresh bedding. $25 Deep Clean: More involved cleaning when there’s a substantial mess that needs extra time and care. These options help me keep your pet clean and comfortable while also staying on schedule for all my visits.
“Kassandra is marvelous! She's friendly, kind, and very reliable. My dogs adore her! She's been a great help while I've been recovering from surgery; her dog walking has made Birdie and Gracie so much happier and calmer. I would use her services again in a minute!”
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for over 25 years. I’m currently a dog dad to Greyson, 3 year old puppy mill rescue who we think is a Sheepadoodle. I’m happy to complete runs, walks, home visits or housesitting on a a one off or recurring basis. If you have a dog or cat that loves other dogs, we might also be a great fit for buddy walks or housesitting. We use Furbo cameras with alerts for when any dog is left alone. I’m available anytime of the day or evening for walks and runs or drop-in visits. I work from home and can accommodate any times you need. I appreciate detailed instructions from you and will follow them to a tee! Your wants and needs are my priority and I'll always provide complete details and photos of how our walks or stays went.

I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. I would happily recommend you to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring. Thank you again for everything!”

Every furry family member is different, and you know them best. I can guarantee my care will reflect the dog’s lifestyle. Whether you crate at home, or your pet snuggles in bed with yourself; I aim to keep the routine as close as possible to that at home.
“Kathleen was a great caregiver for our dog, Tess. She treated her as her own, and provided a great experience for her. She sent pictures and a video, and it was clear that Tess enjoyed her time, and was well cared for.”

“Maria did a great job but what i appreciated was administering my guy's medicine and most of all staying up late to hand off my dog when my flight was badly delayed. Thanks again Maria”

“We just want to say thank you to Molly she was really a great pick for our Australian Shepard named auggie he has separation anxiety really bad and Molly did all that she could to make him feel at home we are very thankful we found her to make our vacation a lot enjoyable knowing auggie was in good hands thanks Molly”

“Mera did a great job at communicating with us. She sent us pictures and updates about our dogs. It was helpful knowing that she was taking such good care of our babies.”
“Katie and Tim were absolutely wonderful. I got regular updates with pictures and they followed all of the directions with handling my dog. When I came to get him he was so happy and didn’t seem to want to leave. I would definitely use them again in the future!!!”

“Balbina took excellent care of my dog while I was out of town. He was in high spirits when I picked him up, and she kept me updated throughout his stay. Will rebook in the future.”

“Great hosts and couple! They took Dexter in on such short notice with welcoming Arms. Definitely going to reach out to them in the future when we’re out of town. Thank you so much!”
