“Heather is so great with Bernie and takes him on new adventures.”

Meaghan B.
“Meaghan will be the best pet sitter you will ever hire. She loves all animals and has had dogs growing up her whole life. She’s caring, compassionate and will treat your pet with the best care as if your pet is her own. She knows what great care is as she has a career in nursing. She has watched my two dogs on many occasions when I’ve been out of town and she always does a great job. I know she takes great care of them by the way they react when they see her. You won’t be disappointed by hiring Meaghan to take care of your pets.”

About: I've always loved taking care of dogs. Since I was 10 years old, I've been walking, feeding, bathing, and watching over dogs of all sizes. My neighbors, friends, and family have always trusted me to take care of their furry friends, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I know how to teach dogs basic manners and make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me while their owners are away. It brings me so much joy to spend time with these amazing animals and help them stay happy and healthy. I'm currently working part-time at a gym as I study for my sports medicine board certification exam. It's definitely a lot to juggle, but thankfully I have more free time than I know what to do with. My work schedule is pretty consistent, so you don't have to worry about any sudden changes in my routine. For me, my fur babies love nothing more than playing with their toys, going on new adventures, and playing catch in an open lot. Luckily, I live close enough to a variety of outdoor trails that my dogs always enjoy walking through and near a handful of parks allowing them to run free or play catch. When watching someone else's four-legged friend I do my best to stay within that animal's daily routine so that when their owners are to return neither party has any unexpected behavior. Before trying anything that may be new to the animals I always make sure to check with their owners so I know they are comfortable with my actions.

Mikey C.

“My dog is so happy to see Mikey for her walks! Had to take a personal rest due to an injury. Mikey saved mine and her sanity! Will definitely be using his services in the future if needed.”

Caryn T.

“Caryn came by for the meet and greet and to understand our Pet’s routine. We have now used her twice and I greatly enjoy the pup reports and photos we get. Would recommend.”

Hannah T.

“Hannah is amazing. Communication is quick. She is walking our two golden retrievers who are not the best behaved on leash. She is always on time or early, takes charge getting them on leashes and is out the door. The dogs love her, we are so glad we found Hannah.”

Xiaotong S.

“Xiaotong has been walking Nia for a while! She takes great care of her and is such a pleasure to work with. She is very loving to our furry friends and they enjoy her company. We would recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

Beth S.

“Beth does a wonderful job with my miniature dachshund, Ellie! She is kind and considerate with my puppy! Always notices how my pup acts and how to respond to her. Beth is always on time and communicates extremely well. I always enjoy her reports cards and pictures after her walking is over! We are so happy to have found her!”

Alicia P.

“Alicia is great! We have a "challenging" dog who can be a big particular about people or walking in the rain, or when he thinks he hears noises, or just generally stubborn about leaving the house/yard. So delighted we found Alicia.”

Claire S.
“Claire is kind, thoughtful and a true caregiver to people and pets. She has watched my cats on multiple occasions while I traveled and I recommended her to my neighbor who has two dogs and love the care she gives them! Claire would be an asset to the Rover team!”

Madison W.

“Super job! Thank you!!! ❤️”

Nicole P.
“Nicole has cared for our 2 dogs for several years. She administers medications for both of them without a problem. But more than that she just loves to hang with them. She sends pictures of them to us so we know that they're happy even though we're gone, and she leaves a hand written note for us, summing up her time with our pups. All of those extra steps make us feel reassured that Nicole takes great care of our dogs and loves them the way we do. I appreciate that Nicole is responsive and communicates any questions or concerns with us. She is really easy to work with, and our dogs love her.”

Sylvie R.

“Sylvie was great! Arrived on time and was so great with my pup! Followed our instructions and followed up via phone to make sure all our needs were met. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommend!”

Amy K.
“Amy is a pet care extraordinaire! She is very detail oriented, patient, caring, great with play time, and just an overall amazing human. My pets get so excited every time she comes over, and that’s saying something considering they are introverts that usually hide for others. Seriously, she’s like magic – and my pets won't stop raving about her whenever we need to leave them in her care. Five stars, paws-itively recommended!" 🐾😄”

Katie P.

“So sweet and amazing!!! I love her and so do the dogs!!! Cant wait to have her over again and again!”

Monquie W.

“Monquie has been such a blessing to our family. I had never used Rover before so I was a little skeptical. Boy, did we find a gem. Buddy, our dog, loves her. She is punctual, hard worker and keeps us updated on whatever may be going on with Buddy. We completely trust her coming into our home. She is amazing.”

Edyta C.

“Edith took amazing care of our dog and we could tell how much he enjoyed his walks while we were out of town because he expected 3x a day like Edith provided when we got home! We loved all the pictures she sent and accompanying notes as well :) We 100% recommend Edith to families looking to take the best care of their fur family!”

Mindy K.
“Mindy is a very reliable person. She is careful to ensure animals are comfortable when in her care. Mindy has a calm demeanor and is patient.”

About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a small child!! My parents are police officers and I grew up with a k-9 dog in my household. I am very familiar with training techniques, and managing high drive/high energy working breeds, but I’m also able to simply have fun with the average family dog! I am pursuing competition sports with my Doberman, obedience, rally, barn hunt which demands quite a bit of serious training! but at the end of the day I like to take a play and positive approach in that. My experience in training has taught me that the first step with any dog is always relationship and trust, and making sure the dog has acclimated to me and new environments. if you don't have that and the dog is stressed it is not going to be a positive experience for them. I always like to meet new dogs by being neutral to them, giving them the time and space to decide to get to know me and once they engage with me be ready to build the relationship with something they love doing (please do let me know what is is your dog loves the most). weather is food, walks, playing fetch or simply cuddling up there is always a way to build a bond and make the dog comfortable and happy. I love all breeds and sizes :) I’m currently working part time on weekends so I can focus 100% of my time on taking care of dogs during the week! I love to take long walks, exercise and training through play and positive reinforcement The first thing I do in the morning when I wake up is potty the dogs and go for a morning lap with them, then its training/mealtime and then I like to let the dogs rest and digest. Depending on the day/weather I will play, go on a long walk or organize an activity for the afternoon, and then I take care of dinner. My personal dogs eat twice daily but I can accommodate different needs depending on the dog! My dogs are crate trained, although they are allowed to free roam when supervised! I firmly believe that regardless how how friendly dogs are, all interactions should be controlled and with a person present just to be safe. I clean food bowls after each mean and empty, clean and refill water bowls at least twice a day, and make sure to keep dogs separated during meals as a precaution. I vacuum and sanitize the crates and change covers for the dog beds once a week (and immediately if there is an accident or I notice more contamination than usual).
