Pets are a member of a family and should be treated as such!
“This is our second time using Katharine and she’s just great. Our dog loves her (can be weary of new people) our cats come out to see her when she’s in our house. I feel completely safe leaving keys and the garage code with her. If you are new to Rover and need a sitter she’s amazing! Thanks again Katharine!”

About: Hi my names Sophia! I have grown up with and taken care of animals my whole life. From fish to hamsters to cats and dogs I know and love them all! I work part time as a delivery worker so my schedule is usually very flexible and I have plenty of extra time to help care for your pets! I do not own my own home so any pet sitting will take place at the clients home. I will follow all instructions left for your fluffy friends and make sure to give them all the attention they deserve!
“My son who typically walks our dog broke his foot leaving me the sole dog walker of our 80lb puppy. That is until one morning I woke up with the flu! Within an hour Bradlei was at our door ready to tackle the cold elements and a brand new dog. Without much direction she took control and walked our beloved ‘Pancake’. Bradlei saved the day and came back twice that day. She is professional ,communicative, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend her and her dog walking services!”

“Christopher is Excellent, i can’t recommend him enough. My dogs adore him, he’s easy to communicate with and responds fast. I don’t have any doubts when he’s walking my dogs.”

“Charlotte was absolutely wonderful. She would take Teddy out for his mid-day walk and she always sent us pictures of how happy he was on his walk. :) She even took care of some packages that were left outside our door. It was such a relief knowing we could trust her with our pup. HIGHLY recommend!”

About: Asst in training service dogs, have had dogs for the past 25 years. I have also had cats but do not have one currently. I watch my neighbors' animals, to include a bunny and other small animals as well. I currently work from home most days and am able to work from anywhere with my laptop if I am needed to stay at your home. This also gives me the availability to leave for breaks to take your animal out for small walks or potty breaks during the day. I have always had 3 dogs at a time, but I just lost my last fur baby in January 2026 so we just got a puppy in April as I just can’t be without a fur baby. I care for my animals as family, not pets, they sleep with me and my husband and go with us when we are able to take them.I provide more of a motherly service and will care for your fur baby as if he/she were my own. This includes playing and snuggling.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
