About: Hi! My wife and I love animals. We currently offer drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting (mainly on weekends). We are very compassionate about animals and would love to keep your pet company while you are away. Both of us work mostly remotely, so we have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your pet's needs. We personally own 3 lovely beagles, so there is no such thing as too many pets. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or for a meet and greet! We would love to check-in on your pet for either a brief or extended stay, whatever you have going on. Willing to accept pets with any medical condition, and willing to administer any prescriptions they might need. I work from home and my wife works remotely several days a week, so we both have a very flexible schedule and can adjust to the needs of each individual pet we care for. We ensure that we fully understand the daily routines and living arrangements of each pet so we can keep their routines the same while the owner is away and ensure a safe environment.

About: I've been caring for animals for over 12 years, starting with my own dog, Lola. Since both of my parents worked, I was often responsible for feeding her, taking her on walks, playing with her, and making sure she was well cared for. That experience taught me responsibility from a young age and helped me develop a genuine love for animals. Since then, I've cared for pets for friends, family, and neighbors, including dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently home for the summer, which means my availability is very flexible and I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Once summer ends, I will be continuing my pilot training and taking online courses through Lewis University. Even then, my schedule will remain flexible, allowing me to continue providing reliable and attentive care for your pets. I have a fenced yard and one dog of my own, Phoebe, who is incredibly friendly and loves being around other dogs. She can play all day long and does a great job helping other dogs feel comfortable in a new environment! If your pet will be staying in my home, I would be more than happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so they can get to know Phoebe and make sure everyone is a good fit. Your pet's safety and well being are always my top priorities, and I will follow any routines or instructions you provide to help them feel right at home!

About: Hello! I’m so glad you stopped by Rover to look for your next dog walker/pet sitter, and I can’t wait to hear all about the lovable pets you share your life with! I was an animal shelter manager & professional dog trainer for four fantastic years, and managed the care of thousands of rescued dogs and cats while they waited to find their forever homes! I went back to school to study Applied Animal Behavior at the University of Washington, and after moving to sunny California, I took the big leap into the world of zoos & aquariums. Since then, I’ve been an aquarium keeper with sharks & stingrays, a zoo educator at the world famous San Diego Zoo & Brookfield Zoo, and worked with native North American wildlife as a zookeeper! I’ve had the privilege of working with just about every kind of furry, feathered, and finned animal, and loved every minute of it. My diverse background has given me a lot of experience in animal care, training & behavior, and veterinary care. I’m very experienced working with special needs animals (both behavior issues and medical needs), and have even had some special pups of my own at home, including a deaf/blind border collie, a cattle dog with separation anxiety, and a snuggly pittie who needs a little extra help getting along with other doggos. I own a 7 month old greyhound puppy named Arthur, and am equipped to meet the special care considerations for sighthounds. I’m also experienced in caring for exotics including fish, reptiles, small mammals, and birds. My goal is to be a resource to busy pet owners who want their dogs to have fun, get spoiled, have an adventure, and receive extra special care— no matter what else you might have on your plate! *Note for special needs pet owners: I'm experienced with administering oral & topical medications, as well as administering subcutaneous injections, caring for pets with food/environmental allergies, mobility issues, pain conditions, and more. I am currently available for drop-in visits, walks, and training/socialization sessions during daytime and evening hours, including last-minute bookings. Apologies, but I am not accepting reservations for boarding or overnight pet-sitting at this time. As a professional with experience in animal shelters and zoos, animal health & safety are my top priority, along with the behavioral & emotional well-being of the animals in my care. I utilize science-based, fear-free training and handling methods.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life; big medium small. I have always been able to create connections with furry friends by giving them lots of love and attention. I’m very attentive when it comes to taking care of senior dogs and their needs. As well as being just as playful as puppies are. I’m currently on summer break before I go to college to become a pediatrician. This being said, my schedule is very available for a long while! For my dog at home, I treat her like family! I walk her daily, feed her twice a day, and give her snuggles and lots of love. I take her outside in the backyard about every hour in the fenced in backyard and she’ll run around and go nuts chasing her ball, and running after rabbits.
“Grace was amazing handling my German Shepard, My dog is sweet but can be intimidating. He is strong and will bark at other dogs on walks so I always worry a little if people will be comfortable walking him. Grace was awesome with him and put me at ease. I’m so glad I found her to help me out and would use her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Big Rock
Kimberly was amazing with our crazy dog! We just moved and he was a bit anxious, but he loved her! She even offered to sew up one of the things he tore up in his kennel! She is so sweet and kept me informed on how my crazy little boy was doing while I was at work! I will definitely book her again!

Wish there were 10 stars. Kimberly is the absolute best! A complete professional but also super sweet and caring to our dog. I booked last minute and every visit she made me feel at total ease with her level of care. She was also patient and flexible with our aging dog’s schedule and needs. Did I mention she also collected our garbage cans from the curb and checked mail. Up and beyond. Kimberly is a must-have!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
