“Kimberly was great to work with. She was very accommodating and worked with us even when our schedule changed. She sent pictures of Bella and communication was great the entire time. Bella looked very happy and relaxed the entire stay!”
“Miriam and Terrell are the sweetest ever! They send so many photos and videos so that you can see what your pet is doing. They like to do meet and greets so that you know where your pet is staying and they have tons of toys and treats for your dog so they feel right at home. They do daily out side breaks and Miriam works from home so you’ll have eyes on your pets 24/7. Both are them are so extremely sweet and treated my dog with such love and care I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and I could truly tell that my dog was loved for and taken care of to the best of his ability. They also give little report cards for your dog which is the cutest thing ever so you can see when they went outside, when they ate, when and what the played with and overall what your dog did over their stay. Truly recommend their services as they did an amazing job!”

“Mera was AMAZING. I boarded my dog with her for about 10 days while I was in between apartments. She took great care of my pup and was super flexible, and was able to extend my dog's stay. So grateful for her help in a really stressful time!”

“Jackie is beyond amazing. My very anxious fur baby has become so much more comfortable (and happy!) with overnight stays thanks to the patience Jackie and her family have taken to make her feel at home. There’s no one else I trust to take such great care of her!”

“Leslie was amazing!!! It was obvious right away that my dogs loved her. She was so good with Molly and Bear, whether it was playtime or snuggle time. And she was absolutely wonderful about keeping us updated regularly! It’s hard to leave my pups, but her updates and pictures made it a lot easier. Leslie really cares for your pups. She is truly wonderful.”

“My mini poodle was with Fanny for two nights. Fanny took care of him very well and she sent pictures and videos every day. My dog was very happy with her and her own little dog. Highly recommended!”

“This was the first time we've left our dogs with someone and we're definitely glad it was with Shannon. They were very well taken care and happy when we picked them up. Shannon stayed in daily contact and sent photos and videos of our fur babies enjoying their time with her. We highly recommend Shannon and plan on rebooking when we take our next vacation.”
“Jill and her family are amazing!! This was the first time I used rover and Sammy had a blast. Jill is prompt and goes above and beyond. She sent updates and pictures. Sammy really enjoyed her stay and she cannot wait to visit again ?.”

“Peggy was wonderful to our little Oscar. She messaged multiple times a day as requested and sent pictures of the little guy. She also noticed him biting his paws due to allergies and alerted me right away. I was in an area with bad service and did not get the message right away so she went ahead and reached out to my vet and scheduled a time to go in because he had chewed his paw to the point where he was bleeding. By the time I found out she was already on top of it. She took him and brought him home with a cone and gave him medication as prescribed. She even followed up asking about him days later once we picked him up. You can just tell that Peggy is an animal lover. I will absolutely be booking Peggy again, i love the fact that she only takes one dog in at a time because you know the full attention is going to your animal. Thank you Peggy!”

“Where do I start.. Beyonka and her daughter where absolutely amazing with our boy Benjamin ❤️ Sending daily pictures for us to view while away really eased our minds knowing our dog was well taken care of. He exercised daily and even went for a car ride around town. Exceded my expectations and would highly recommend!! A million thanks, will be in touch for next time!”

“My multipoo stayed with Eric over the weekend. Eric sent a photo daily and was always quick to respond to questions. My dog returned home healthy and happy. I highly recommend Eric for boarding! Jan”

“Danielle was great, she was flexible with our drop off and pick up schedule and was very willing to snuggle with our dog, who believes she was born to do nothing else.”

About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
“We are so glad Mocha stayed at Keith’s house over the holidays because he was treated like “family”! Keith took the time to get to know Mocha’s needs and took excellent care of him. As Mocha gets older, we worry more about leaving him, so seeing pictures of him curled up on a lap let us know that he felt happy and safe! Keith was flexible and easy to communicate with. We hope Mocha will get the chance to stay with him again!”

“Susan and her husband were great pet sitters. Seth loved them and their property. She kept in contact with us for the time she had Seth with texts and pictures. I will definitely use her again.”

“Brian and his family were great. They treated our fur ball with love and attention. Brian sent pictures and videos every day. It was great to see the dog enjoying his stay with Brian.”

“Jackie is the best! We felt so confident leaving our Maddie with Jackie and her family. Jackie sent us pictures everyday and I could see Maddie was having a great time and was well taken care of. This family loves dogs and it shows. We would use Jackie again in a heart beat!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Big Rock
Kimberly was so accommodating with Iris. We were staying at one of her camping spots (you can find her place on HipCamp) and had to attend a family event nearby that wasn't dog friendly. Kimberly not only took Iris in, but our pup got to hang with her dogs and get in some healthy playtime. She also has a nice little fenced in dog park on her property. Iris loved getting to check out all of the farm animals as well. We'll definitely be dropping our pup off again if we're in the area. Thanks, Kimberly! And Iris paw-thanks you as well!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
